"Arre Mamu what happened to your leg?" Arnav heard Sneha's voice as soon as he walked inside RM after a long, tiring and painful day thanks to Miss Gupta.

He bent down and gathered her in his arms as usual not replying to her question and kissed her cheeks lovingly. He loved his niece a lot maybe because she was a lot like him or because she was his Di's cute daughter.
He settled down on the couch comfortably before answering her "Nothing Sneha sweetypie. Had a fight with a wild cat."
"Oh so you fought with Khushi aunty today?"

He jerked his head towards her, looking at her with shock. Sometimes he really wondered how a mere 7 years old girl understood him so well. Composing his expressions quickly, he spoke in an indifferent voice "How can you say that I am talking about her?"

"Oh come on Chotte. We both know that now days your thoughts revolve around Khushiji only." He heard his Di replying instead of Sneha and looked up to see Anjali sitting opposite to him on the sofa. He groaned inwardly as he knew what his Di was up to.
"Di it's nothing like." He tried to explain.

"Yeah I know it's nothing like that Chotte. You were just checking her out and looking at her dress when we went to Gupta house for dinner yesterday night so that you can think about your new collection for your upcoming fashion show right?" came Anjali's sarcastic reply.

"Di..." He started to explain himself when Anjali interrupted him again.

"Okay fine now don't start giving me some lame excuses. Admit it Chotte, you like her."

Arnav contradicted her quickly "No Di it's not like that all."

"Okay then fine. You don't want to admit it, that's absolutely fine by me."

Arnav relaxed down a bit though for a second only as Anjali once again spoke "But Wanna bet about the same, Chotte?"

"What The!!! Di Stop it."

"Arre at least listen what I want to say. If you didn't talk and looked at her for next 24 hour, I will accept that you don't like her but if you did, then you will have to accept that you like her. What say?"

Knowing that he didn't have any choice other than saying yes, he nodded his head slowly dreading about next 24 hours.

"I don't know Jiji but it's so awkward. I mean since the time I met him, he always looked very eager to meet me and talk with me not that I liked it but why is he avoiding me now?" Khushi wondered aloud.

Smacking her on the forehead, Payal replied "its just your imagination pagli."

Khushi sat straight on her bed and looked at Payal carefully for the first time since she came back home. "Jiji are you going somewhere?"
