Chapter 5: loser like me/ we found love
After that glee session taani started rehearsals with the glee club. She had no idea how but she was made president of the glee club. Even kiya didn't seem to have a problem with that. She and ran beer had become best friends in such a short time and so did panchi and kiya. they spent all their time with each other either singing or chit chatting. She felt so at home with them. More at home than she ever felt with anyone else. But now she had an agenda. Which was to recruit new members for the glee club, so she was fully focused on her plan, of course this did not go down very well with the gang.rey was very happy taani found her passion but he couldn't help but feel alone. Taani hardly called at even more hardly met up with him. He felt for the first time how taani felt when Rey was busy. Swayam was really happy for her but still could not get rid of the guilt he felt. Firsts he knew taani his entire life but how the hell didn't he know about his sister's talent. Secondly, he didn't even try to find out what her passion was or even what her hobbies were . Come to think of it, he didn't even know what her favorite food was. All he did was eat the food she cooked for him. Immense guilt pressed on him. Sharon was happy for her too. She just wished she had the opportunity to tell her that she was proud of her and say that she understands her. The gang on the other hand although mesmerized by her talent, were indifferent towards her passion. They were happy for her and all but they were upset that instead of helping them with the NDC, she was busy with her glee club. They felt that she was neglecting her responsibilities.the gang went to participate in the NDC quarter final and they qualified for the semi finals. Taani was happy for them but she was even more excited about the events which were gonna occur the next day.
Next day:
Everyone was abuzz with the news about the team qualifying for the next level. Everyone started recognizing taani as responsible gs and above that a talented individual. Taani was very happy about that. Soon after the lectures were over everyone got a message from taani. It read: important issue to be discussed, pls meet me in the auditorium...from your gs taani shekawat. Everyone rushed over to the atrium including the gang as they were eager to see what it was about.taani was standing on the stage with kiya, panchi and ranbeer.
Taani: so guys...thanks for coming on such short notice...actually this is something important.as you guys know I am now part of the glee club and we are recruiting new members for the sing off showdown
A series of snickers and jeers went around the auditorium. Taani cleared her throat.
Taani: hear me out guys...you don't have to decide now...you can decide after this...
Saying so she went to the middle of the stage with kiya...

Ranbeer- background vocals and dancer
Taani and kiya sang together and as their voices blended , it sounded magnificent as it left the audience in a trance.what snapped the students out of their trance was ranbeer's amazing dancing. It popped up in the middle of the performance while everyone watched spellbound.he was at the same level as the gang in dancing. By the time the performance over everyone were on their feet.
Taani: wait it isn't over yet.
With that she returned to centre stage.

Panchi- background vocals
As they performed the students realized the lyrics were meant for them. They were completely in awe of their performance? they were so much enthrall end by their performance that their heads moved in unison to the beats . When they were down everyone gave a standing applause. Taani smiled to herself looking at the student's reaction.
Soon everyone cleared out except the glee club and d3 team. They were cleaning up when Vicky called out to taani.
Vicky: can we talk taani?
Taani: urm...sure...
Nil: in private..
Nil looked over at ranbeer, panchi and kiya indicating that they want them to leave.
Taani: look guys...whatever you want to say...say it in front of all of us...
Simmi: fine...what are you doing taani?
Taani: what are you guys talking about .
Rinni: please taani...you know that you have been so busy even without the competition now that there is one do you think you will time to take care of the NDC.
Shareyam and the glee club were shocked at their words..
Taani: what do you mean I Don't have time for it...I do help...
Amar: haldy(hardly)
Neha: can you telling us semi finals ki date...
Taani realized that she forgot to check...
Taani: oh god... I for...
Aashi: you forgot types right ...
Rey was about to interfere when ranbeer talked
Ranbeer: so...she is human...she is allowed to make mistakes...
Panchi: ya what's the big deal...
Bharat: Abe big...big...
Amar: big deal
Bharat: Hana woh hi...big deal hain
Vicky: if she can remember her all this songs and all why can't she fulfill her duties...
Kiya: how can you guys be so selfish...
Nil: we're selfish?
Ranbeer : yes you are...
With this both teams burst out into argument while shareyam tried to stop them taani was lost deep In thought. Had she really neglected her duties? Soon vp sir arrived at the battle scene and he was completely shocked to see them fighting.
Vp: silence!
Everyone immediately stopped and looked at his angry face.
Vp: what is going on ?
They recited the entire story to him.
Vp: I am highly disappointed in you guys...you guys are both involved in the arts...form of self expression...why are you fighting among yourselves for such a small reason.
Taani: sorry sir..it is my fault..
Vp: not completely...so I think I have the solution for your problems...if the St. Louis does not win the NDC we can assume taani is responsible and you will have to drop out of glee club..
Panchi, kiya and ranbeer : what!!!!
Taani thought for a while ..
Taani: that seems fair sir,,,I agree
Panchi, kiya and ranbeer : what!!!!
Ranbeer: but that's not fair what about them
Vp: them? Oh ya I got the perfect punishment for them...you guys will attend every glee club rehearsal and write a 500 word essay on what you learnt.
Gang: what!!!!
The glee club except taani snickered.
Vp: i know it is a childish punishment but it suits your childish behavior really well...
Now they had burst out laughing but stopped when vp glared at them...
With that vp sir exited the room leaving them in a dilemma.
Precap: new entries and panchi solo
Okay guys done but before you guys go I need your help..I am quite confused there will be 2 new entries in the next update. Both will be guys and will be cast opposite panchi and kiya. So I already decided who to cast opposite panchi...i think you can guess but I am confused about the other one...initially i decided Arjun from Humse hai life(not Varun fron BFF he creeps me out) ...but I realized there a lot of kisha fans who can't tolerate kiya and KD being separated ..but I want it to be easier for you guys to imagine him singing and since Arjun was a singer I thought ...so I want you guys to help me by including in your comments if you want kiya to be opposite Arjun or KD.
