Rey recalls the scene actually happened between him and kriya and thought " yes it was indeed the way neil acted...gosh did I really reacted in a filmy way...in SRK style?..god rey...I hope kriya is not laughing like these people..nooo...what I am thinking?. It was the most precious moment for me when I hugged her..for the first time...yeah..kriya wont think like these idiots (looks at his friends who were still enacting srk style and laughing madly)...I am sure kriya be felt something special in that moment.. Part 14 :
Rey's chain of thought breaks when he hears a beep beep sound of his mobile..he receives a msg and the name of sender was enough to make his smile wider...
Msg : Rey...I know u r busy wid ur frnds ryt now..n vl nt b able to talk to me today but can u plz do a video chat with me 2day? Plz...just 4 10 mins? I want to tell u smding v imp. Nt imp actually but I want to tell u asap. I tried a lot not 2 disturb u 2day but...huh...I dnt knw..plz rey...I need to share a matter wid u..plz...10 mins...
Rey becomes lil sad after reading the truth...firstly, because of the way kriya is requesting...he feels bad for her...secondly, she was right. He Will not be able to talk to her today as he is with his friends and hanging out with his friends means, spending good time till late and having dinner with them. By the time he reaches home it will be almost 12 in the night. So how can he give Kriya the 10 mins she is asking for? If it is calling her and talking on phone, he could've made any excuse to his friends and spoke to her but she is asking for video chat specifically. How can he do that. Now?
He looks at his friends who are still busy in doing some more srk romantic styles and laughing, a faint smile appears on his face. He doesn't want to leave his friends in the middle just like that making an excuse just to chat with kriya. And either does he wants to postpone kriya's request for video chat because he knew how sad she was few mins back when she called swayam.. he was thinking all this and scratching his forehead with his finger, someone taps his shoulder,
"Hey vish..." says with a small smile..
Vishaka : what happened dude? Kaha kho gaye ho? Everything alright?
Rey : yeah..huh..(looks at his cell in his hand)
Vishaka : wanna talk to her?(giving him understanding smile)
Rey: smiles..that's okay vish...badme karlunga...
Vishaka : rey!!... go and talk to her man...look at your face...it tells everything..
Rey laughs a bit : huh..that's fine vish..(looking at his mad friends doing srk styles still) dont want to miss this..(looking back at Vishaka) waise bhi she wants to do a video chat(looks at his cell again sadly)
Vishaka : she msged you saying so?
Rey just nods his head looking at the other side..
Vishaka : and you are ignoring her request for us? Knowing that she needs you right now...
Rey just looks at her, before he could reply
Vishaka :guys guys(shouting) attention plz.. rey tries to stop her but all in vain...all came to where rey and Vishaka were standing..
Vishaka : guys lets put some sense into our this idiot friend(looks at rey, to which rey starts looking at his friends, afraid how will they react now)
Bharat : abhey kya hua? Sidhi sidhi bata na
Vishaka : okay if considering whatever happened today, kriya wants to talk to him now, requests to do a video chat, what makes us more happy?, rey ignoring kriya's request for us, just not to disappoint us and stays with us.? Or he tells us the matter, go and talks to Kriya?
Neil : obviously we'll want him to go and talk to her...
Amar : haan..isme puchne wali kya baat hai? Nayi nayi shurwaad hui hai inki love or jo bhi hai and hume tho kushi hogi if they spend more time talking to each other, get to know each other...
Vicky: (putting hand on amar's shoulder) yeah...aur hummara kya hai...we will always be with them as besties..
Rey felt really happy seeing the responses..and starts smiling widely at them..
Vishaka : so mr idiot what you want to do now? Still wants to stay with us ignoring her request ?
Now everyone understood the matter...swayam was the first one to react
Swayam : rey!!! Kriya requested you to talk to her and you wanted to ignore it? How can you think like that...? Rey warning you...seriously...kriya is just like my baby sis...if you hurt her in anyway I will forget that you are my friend...keep in mind..
Rey smiles boyishly. : I dont repeat it(holding his one ear slightly) ab tho aap log kyaa chahte hai ye bhi pata chala...so no mistakes...promise
Swayam smiles : idiot...ye bhi koi kehne ki baat hai that what we want being your friend...if I was there in your place and Sharon had requested me something like that, tab tum kya expect karte mujse? Yaha bait ke aap ke sath enjoy karu ingoring her emotions or I better go and talk to her, telling you all about the matter? Simple si baat hai rey..
Rey : sorry sorry guys...before he could say further his phone beeps again...
Msg :I know I disturbed you rey...I am so sorry...Idk what got into my mind...enjoy with your friends..we'll talk some other time...when you are free...gn..tc...n...

Rey gives his one of the million dollar smile at the last 2 words of the msg...everyone got it by his smile that it was kriya's msg..
Vicky : now go...dont waste the time smiling like an idiot..
Rey looks at them with the same smile still in his face...says good night to all and left from there..he was still smiling widely when he reached his car while selecting Kriya's number to call, looks at his driver waiting for him nd smiling too looking at rey's smile..
Actually rey was tired of travelling and meeting so didn't want to drive so told his driver to accompany him today. Rey remembering the morning incident, makes serious face suddenly
Rey : what ? Lets go home..and Take me to any pizzahut on the way..and gets in the car hiding his smile infront of driver...once he sits comfortably in the car, he msgs kriya(doesn't want to talk in the presence of his driver)
Rey's msg :

Immediately he receives the reply
"Really?" :D
Rey replies back smiling at her excitement
"Yes madam...and sorry for not replying you when you requested :(.. was with friends"
Kriya calls immediately when she receives the msg, rey receives the call happily
Kriya : rey aap kyun sorry bol rhe ho? I should be sorry that knowing very well you are with ur friends, requested you something like that..
Rey : wow...no hello no hi, direct attack? (Smiles knowing that she is very guilty so better to divert the topic)
Kriya : silent for few seconds then says "hello" in a low tone "sorry"
Rey (shuts his eyes understanding that instead of diverting the topic, he made her more guilty) : kriya!! I really didn't mean to hurt you yar...I am so..sorry..
Kriya : huh...I know...leave it (coming back to her normal mode) you left your friends today for me rey? I am sorry...
Rey : no...they kicked me out when they got to know that you want to talk to me..and I was still there thinking what they will feel..
They both were silent for couple of seconds then burst out laughing..
Rey and kriya : FRIENDS!!!
They both smile...says bye and hoping to meet through video chat in few mins..
It was 8.30 p.m. when rey logged in after freshening up...as expected he had an request to accept from kriya...he accepts it immediately..and invites her for video chat..she accepts it immediately as she was already waiting for him..
But when kriya looks at rey as soon as she accepts the call, she closes her eyes with her palm
Kriya : rey ...ye kya hai..? Jao shirt pehan ke aao first
Rey smiles : oh hello I am wearing a under shirt..
Kriya(still closing her eyes) : haan par rey..mere samne? Atleast t-shirt tho pehan lo
Rey finds it cute : kriya...huh...kriya remove your hand(she removes it but her eyes were shut tightly)(Rey smiles at her cute antics) open your eyes...(she nods her head in negation) please...FOR ME(she opens her eyes slowly to find rey admiring her, she clears her throat to bring him back) ahh..wo..forget it...huh...so madam muje aise dekhne ki aadat dall lo abb..
Kriya : what?(shocked)
Rey(coolly): yes...because main ghar pe aise hi rehta hoon...and you will have to see me like this everyday once you come here..and kriya, at home I can wear anything in which I'll be comfortable right? So I wear these kind of dress at home..shorts with undershirt..
Kriya adds : sleeveless? Shorts tho teek hai but shirt...(she trails her sentence)
Rey : dont worry some times I wear vests too...
Kriya : wo bhi sleeveless?(nervously)
Rey smiles : off course..acha leave it...you will get used to it...I am sure..now tell me what's the matter? Jo you wanted to share urgently...I got to know lil bit but still go ahead(says munching pizza)...and sorry I am having pizza right now I am hungry so..hope you dont mind
Kriya : no no that's fine...and yeah its about a boy...
Rey : Shivam?
Kriya : yup...aapko swayam and Vicky se thoda bahot tho pata chal gaya hoga but I want to tell you everything...in detail...I know you will get angry nd scold me but still I think I shouldn't hide such things from you..
Rey smiles chewing the pizza(sipping coke) : and why do you think so?(smirks)
Kriya got what he meant : because you are also a member of my family now(she chose the safest way to answer so that she shouldn't give him any chance to pull her leg further)
Rey smiles : smart answer...now go ahead and tell me what's the matter..
Kriya : oh yeah...huh..shivam was my class mate in degree..1st year we were just hi-bye friends..but in 2nd year, we both were teamed up in a same group for presentations and seminars..it was last exam of our 2yr and after the exam he proposed me..and by his words it was clear that it was not a crush or infatuation or attraction but he truly has feelings for me..but it was not same from my side..he was still a groupmate for me, nothing more than that..so I refused his proposal and as expected he was heartbroken and went from there silently..I really felt bad for him during vacations..and when the college reopened, he once again started like a hi-bye friend with me like before and always avoided talking to me or looking at me..he had become very silent and distant from all his friends...I felt bad so thought to make him understand the fact..and spoke to him..I succeeded in that, by end of the conversation he forwarded his hand for friendship..and we became friends..but my all friends and even Vicky swayam used to scold me saying that his feelings have not changed for me. I did a mistake by accepting his friendship..he was good with me till now...and today I went to tell him about me leaving for Mumbai in couple of days and about you to him...but he reacted totally differently than what I expected..he started shouting at me saying how can I do like this to him? I ditched him once again. How can I accept some one else in my life after all we(Shivam n kriya) shared so much in last year...I was really shocked rey..I didn't get about what he was talking..I always considered him as a friend last year..nothing more..but he was claiming my friendship as something more...he continuously started shouting madly so I had to slap him to stop his shout and I just ran back from there...because I was shocked and moreover I felt it's waste at that time to say anything to him...he wouldn't have understood..
Rey : huh...kriya
Kriya was sad again reminding all that happened and afraid too of rey's reaction..
Rey : kriya!!
Kriya : hmm (looks at him nervously)
Rey : look kriya...whatever you felt right in those situations you did...be it trying to make him accept the truth or slapping him today knowing his feelings has...not changed for ...you
Kriya : I am sorry
Rey : dont be...yes...no need to be sorry... but
Kriya : but ?
Rey : kriya you only said, he had true feelings for you, it was not attraction..then how can you expect that those feelings will go so easily..? If he had true feelings then they were not developed in a day or two...he might have started liking you since long back I am sure..
Kriya : yes..when he proposed, he said since 1st year itself he started liking me and he didn't know when those likes turned into l..love
Rey : hmm(felt really angry..didn't know on whom? On kriya or Shivam?...controlling his temper) so after you rejecting him, he gets the chance to make a friendship with you, it will definitely gives him hope..and he treats it as his second chance to impress you..and today you simply went and tell him about us, shouting was expected from his side..because for him you broke his heart second time..
Kriya had tears in her eyes now
Rey : kriya yar...please...
She wipes her tears and smiles faintly : I am fine...
Rey : sure?
She just nods her head still wiping her tears...
Rey : kriya it's just that...I dont want you to indulge in any such complications...I know your intentions will be always good but some times they turned out to be harmful for people..try to stick to your words...if you would have left the matter as it is, Shivam by seeing your unaffected behavior, he would've accepted the fact and slowly tried to move on in his life..but because of your soft hearted nature you felt bad and made him your friend...and see now what happened?
Rey: true feelings will never go so easily kriya(little lost).. one sided love is the most hurtful thing to experience...it will leave a very deep scar on the person's life (still lost somewhere)
Kriya : (observing his lost state and serious comments) you experienced it?
Rey comes to his senses immediately : what?
Kriya (crosses her fingers) : one sided... love?
Rey(cursing the way he blurted out few things) : no no no...no...but yes...saw someone suffering because of one side love in real life...(smiles faintly)
Kriya : oh (giving a deep sigh) ..okay
Rey :(coming back to his normal tone) what okay? Dont try to be soft to everone now onwards...sometimes it gives wrong signal to the person infront of you...no matter you have a good intentions behind that...
Kriya :(giving guilty smile) sorry...wont repeat it again...waise bhi I dont need to now...
Rey : why?
Kriya : because no one will propose me now onwards..(happily)
Rey : really? And why so?
Kriya : because I have already someone in my li...(she realizes what she is saying...and courses herself but she had already spit it out)
Rey (sipping his coke) : aahaan?
Kriya : no...ahhh..what I meant ki...mmm...now everyone will be knowing that...my mom ...yesss...mom(smiling widely for finding a proper justification) see mom is serious about my this marriage thing...sooo
Rey : sooo?
Kriya:(gulps finding it difficult resist his smirk)...so
Rey( smiles seeing the effect he is having on her in that moment) : sooo? Aage bolo kriya(bit back his smile)
Kriya :(shaking her head to come back from reyland and cursing herself) so no one will propose me...
Rey : why?
Kriya : because I am already taken(she curses herself again by saying such bold sentence..) before rey could have some more fun
Kriya: now dont ask me by whom? Why? Etc etc...I am not in a mood to reply...abb batao where is payal mom?(changes the topic)
Rey : ahh...she had gone to some jagaran pooja at one of her friend's house..she will come late...may be around 12.30- 1 a.m...
Kriya : ohh...so you will have to go to pick her at night...
Rey : noo
Kriya : okay...you will send your driver to pick her up..?
Rey : no
Kriya : then how will she come back? (shocked)
Rey : relax kriya...she had gone there in her car...mom knows driving...she will come back by herself..
Kriya: rey? How can you be so irresponsible? At night around 1am, you will let payal mom to drive alone back to home? Itz not safe rey...it's not safe for a woman to drive alone at that night...you know that right...
Rey really feels guilty...kriya is right...till now he never thought about it..he always had let his mom to drive back home at late night in such situations...
Kriya : rey when I come there to Mumbai, if I have to return home late night, you will allow me like payal mom? Alone? I too know driving very well?
Rey : nooo (comes the immediate and sharp reply)
