After they arrived at site they started their work,Arnav didn't get time to call Pratap as he was having teleconference and meetings with few clients in Paris.At evening when they were returning and were sitting in the cab,Arnav's phone rang as soon as Arnav heard the callers name,he stiffened which was noticed By Khushi who was texting on her phone,she shoved her phone in her handbag and started paying attention to Arnav's side of conversation.Arnav ran his hand through his hair and said,"I will meet you as soon as land in India,where is shyam?"Arnav heard,"He is not in delhi,he had left the next day his father died,he had called me once and asked about you."Arnav clenched his fists and said in no-nonsense tone ,"How can I know trust you?"He heard,"Its difficult for you to trust me but if you want to protect your family and business than you must meet me once or else you will regret later."Arnav got more angrier but controlled it as Khushi was watching him and said,"I will meet you then,I want details about Shyam and why he had planned to destroy my wife's reputation by planning that incident."Pratap replied sincerely,"I am sorry for that I was also involved in it but you have to trust me I repent it like Badasaheb for you Manohar Jha and it was planned so that you feel hurt when you see your wife in another man's arm when you are not in city but God saved your wife as you returned earlier and your wife's friend came to see your wife."Arnav was getting angrier as well as he was getting sad with each word he heard and said,"I will see you soon,Call me if you get any information and Be aware so that Shyam doesn't raised doubts on you,I will call you."He heard heavy sigh from other end and,"Ok and yes I want to tell you Shyam is lusting after your wife and wants to have everything you have,Call me when you arrive in India."and the line went dead.Arnav cursed under his breath and angrily shoved the phone in his pocket."Are you ok?"Khushi asked placing her hand on his arm.Arnav nodded and said,"That assh*** has left Delhi after his father death,he wants revenge and no one knows where he is?"Khushi didn't ask further and just nodded her head and rubbed his arm.

After they arrived at hotel,Arnav went to have shower to calm his anger in their room bathroom while Khushi took her white gown with robe to have bath in other room.After having bath when Khushi entered their room,he heard Arnav ordering for dinner.Arnav turned when he saw Khushi and asked her,"Is chinese ok or you want to order some other thing."Khushi replied with small smile,"I am ok."Arnav cut the call and said to khushi,"Akash and Payal's attire are ready,I have send designs to n.k,they will be raedy."Khushi said drying her hair sitting on bed,"Payal will be very happy,Did you arrange for your clothes?"Arnav sat beside her and said,"You know I am wearing three-piece suit,I had once wore Sherwani for your sake on our wedding but I am not wearing it again."Khushi smiled at him and said,"I remember your face when I forced you to wear it saying we will not have our Suhaagraat if you don't wear sherwani."Arnav smiled and fall back so now he was lying on his back on bed staring at ceiling,"I cant let you do that."Khushi saw Arnav is getting relax so she also lied beside him propping on elbow and staring at Arnav's closed eyes so she teased,"Arnav Singh Raizada cant afford to lose making love to his wife on first night of marriage."Arnav opened his eyes and said staring intently at the point on ceiling,"You are very beautiful woman,you don't know that but you are every man's wish."Khushi teased back not noticing Arnav clenched fist at his side and said,"So you mean you are very lucky to have me as your wife as I am very beautiful and complete woman,Mr.Raizada."Arnav closed his eyes as words rang in his mind Shyam wants to have you everthing he has.'He coulnt control his anger and said getting up,"This is not funny Khushi."Arnav got up and left the room while Khushi was shocked with Arnav's sudden anger,her eyes pooled with tears.She rubbed her tears away thinking what had she said to get that reaction from Arnav.She decided to give him some time alone and called Ria.She started chatting to Ria about Paris and ask her about her work and wedding preparation as she was sure Ria would have been helping Payal a lot in shopping.After few minutes of chatting she cut the call as Arnav called her for dinner,she wore robe on her gown and joined Arnav in the hall who was taking dinner trolley from hotel staff.They had unusual quite dinner watching t.v as Arnav was watching some English action movie,Khushi didn't speak any thing as she wished to give Arnav some space.Arnav called for room service to take back plates and also asked for bottle of whiskey,Khushi who heard that didn't say anything and said softly going towards room,"Arnav I am going to sleep,join me after you finish your drink and movie."Arnav nodded yes and said softly,"Good Night."Khushi smiled at him and went towards him and silently kissed his left cheek,Arnav gave one small smile as Khushi started walking towards their room.As soon as Khushi entered the room she closed the door and led on her side of bed,she started crying softly as she couldn't bear this side of Arnav,she was helpless as she thought about Arnav drinking instead of sleeping.She thought how everyone complains about Arnav that he couldn't express any emotions and is man of less words,she has noted that fact when they made love or kiss,Arnav would show his love to him most when they make love,his tenderness,love is reflected in every kiss.She started remembering one of the conversation that they had shared when she was trying to know Arnav better and was asking him about his life and they were on one of Arnav's business trip in Mumbai after getting engaged as Arnav was continuously out of delhi for two months and they didn't get time so Arnav has taken permission from Nani and Shashi to take Khushi with him on one of his trip.

Arnav wrapped his arms around her and said sincerely,"I am not perfect for you Khushi,you are complete opposite of me but you gave me hope when you entered my life to live it better,before you I used to drink and smoke a lot also I used to hook-up with models when I got stressed or for fun and other women but now when I talk to you or just your presence makes me want to live better,carefree and live every moment of it.You are light in my dark life Khushi."Khushi pulled back to kiss him on forehead and said,"I love you,I am with you forever,I am not leaving your hand my lost man."Arnav smiled at her and said,"You are very strong this is one reason why I love you so much."Arnav took her hands in his and bringing it close to his mouth kissed her palms and then he took her lower lip in his mouth,Khushi fisted his hair bringing him closer as they kissed each other slowly pouring their love in it.

Khushi smiled remembering that precious moment and wiped away her tears,she sat up and drank water from glass kept on bedside table.She lied down again and closed her eyes to sleep.But sleep wasn't coming to her so after tossing and turning for few minutes she got up and sat leaning on headboard of bed.Just then bedroom door opened and Arnav entered the room little stumbling in darkness,Khushi heard him and switched on night lamp lightening room,"Jaan you didn't sleep?"asked Arnav huskily sitting infront of Khushi.Khushi nodded no and said softly,"I couldn't sleep ."and added "You are drunk."when Arnav stumbled near bed again.Arnav clicked his tongue and said,"Just little,you know I was tired and couldn't think much."dropping his head in Khushi's lap and took her hand,placed it in his hair and said,"Run your hands in my hair."Khushi was surprised hear him and said running her fingers through his hair,"How much did you drank,you will have headache."Arnav said slowly"Just few glasses,I am very bad husband."Khushi cupped his cheek with her other hand and said,"Don't bad mouth my husband Mr.Raizada,you are drunk."Arnav rubbed his thumb near her eye and said painfully,"I am you were crying alone,you are tired with my silence and mood-swings."Khushi put her hand on his mouth saying him to stop as she knew he is drunk,Arnav removed her hand and said getting up,"Don't its true you were crying your eyes are red and swollen,your are fed up with me." Khushi replied slowly trying to make him face her by cupping his cheek but he turned away as Arnav's eyes were filled with tears,"Look at me,I was crying but not beacause I am fed up with you."Single tear rolled down Arnav's cheek as he didn't turn his face so Khushi couldn't see him and said choking,"I am tired Khushi,I tried a lot to open up to you and share every detail about my past with fear that it will ruin our present and future,bbut I was wrong,"but was cut off when Khushi turned his face and said with tears rolling down on her cheeks,"You are crying Arnav please I am sorry,stop crying."She hugged him and said in his neck,"I cant see you broken."Arnav buried his head in her hair and said,"I was broken from the day you entered my life,I was alone after maa died and I will be alone again when you will leave me."Khushi pulled back and cupped his cheeks in her palms and said,"You will not Arnav,when will you understand?"Arnav said painfully,"You will beacause maa also said same thing when I used to cry after my nightmares when I was kid,in those nightmares I used to see me alone crying in front of maa's and Ayesha's deadbodies."Khushi lied down and pulled him too,she made his rest his head on her bosom and said,"Shhh,I don't want to hear,it hurts me seeing you like this."Arnav sniffed and said angrily,"That Shyam who was once lusting after dii is now lusting after you,my Khushi,He wants to have everything that is mine."Khushi stilled at his confession and said pulling him closer to her,"I love you and I am yours for forever."Arnav raised his head and said innocently,"Yes you are mine,I will not leave him." Khushi kissed his eyes nodding and said,"Now sleep we will talk in morning."Arnav murmered something and closed his eyes due to drinks.Khushi made him lie down on his pillow and kissed her forehead and said,"My lost man,I love you."Khushi wiped her tears as he imagined him suffering and his emotion when he heard that the person who he hates and doesn't want to see come back in his life for revenge and lust his wife whom he loves more than his life. Khushi stare at him some more and keep running her hands through his hair,dropping feathery kisses on his eyes and temple.She lied down again after few minutes and resting her head on his chest.

Next day morning Arnav didn't remember anything and was having headache,Khushi didn't say him about their conversation and gave him pill for headache.Khushi acted as if they haven't talk last night at all and was acting her normal Khushi self talking about work and Paris.After getting ready they both left for work. One week passed as Arnav and Khushi will work till late night at site,have lunch and dinner together and sleep in each other arms at night.Renovation work was almost on verge of completing after hardwork of khushi and her team as well as workers working 12-13 hours a day.

Shyam rang the bell waiting for door to be opened,Pratap came and opened the door shocked to find Shyam on the door,he cleared his throat and said,"Shyam beta phone karke batate toh hum lene aa jate tumhein( you didn't call,I would have come to pick you.)"Shyam gave one of creepy smile and said entering the house,"Chacha aj toh humein ana hi tha,Arnav wapas jo ayega ek-do din mein,swagat karna padega uska.(I had to come as I have to welcome Arnav who will be returning soon)"Pratap said,"Toh tum badla lekar hi rahoge,thik he par humse ye umeed mat rakhna ke hum tumhein madad karein,hum badasaheb ki khwahish ka samman karna chahte he(So you will take revenge,ok but don't expect me to help you as I want to respect his wish).Shyam smile turned to frown and said,"What are you saying?Already rishi is not reachable to me and now you are not going to help,How will I destroy that Raizada."Pratap put his hand on his shoulder and said,"But I have promised your father and you know if Rishi got caught by police which is going to happen soon you will be in jail,so time is there,let us get back to Luvknow and live our life."Shyam got angry hearing this he pushed his hand away and said shouting,"Enough,if you don't want to help you return to lucknow after packing your bags as you are not staying here one more minute."Pratap also shouted back,"Ok I will leave as it is your house but remember you will fail in destroying him as you know Karma comes back to us."Pratap left to his room to pack his bag.

Paris

At site

Arnav was talking to Aman in his cabin when Khushi barged in without knocking and said,"Arnav let me show you Akash's cabin it is almost ready."Arnav and Aman both looked up at her arrival,Khushi who was checking her phone didn't see Aman and said sweetly without looking up from screen,"I am so excited to see your reaction and you are taking me out for dinner as,"her words didn't came out as she looked up from her phone and smiled sheepishly while Arnav cocked an eyebrow with his smirk,Khushi continued,"Sorry I should have knock before coming,I thought as its almost lunch time you will be alone,I will come when your meeting is over."Arnav said getting up and walking towards her,"I was saying Aman that we will arrange for dinner tomorrow for every person who worked hard to renovate this place in so less time."Aman gave small smile to Khushi getting up while Khushi gave nod to his smile,"Sir should I leave,we can continue later."Arnav who was now standing in front of Khushi with his hands in his pant pockets gave curt nod as Aman left the office.Khushi spoke after Aman left,"Cant you call me and brought my attention."Arnav gave an amused smile and said,"Seriously Khushi you are blaming me,its your fault we are not at home."Khushi pouted and said slapping his chest playfully,"I was chatting with Payal,I didn't knew you will be busy."Arnav rubbed his thumb on her pouted lips and said smiling,"Don't pout you know how I feel seeing you pouting and what were saying when you came barging in my cabin."Khushi pulled him by tie said seductively,"How do you feel Arnav."Arnav grinned and wounding his arms around her waist said,"I will show you tonight when I get you in our room?Khushi placed her hands on his bicep and said sweetly,"What will you do show me trailer Mr.Raizada?"Arnav smirked and said nuzzling her cheek with his nose said in her ear," I will be pleased to show you but cant as currently I am in office and my wife will be disappointed and sad when she will come to know that I was doing things with my interior designer which is for my wife only in our bedroom."Khushi smiled and said sweetly in his ear,"Ohh,but don't you think you are being hypocrite,Mr.Raizada?I mean you are touching me at place you shouldn't have."as Arnav placed his hand on her butt.Arnav smiled and said kissing her throat,"What to do I cant resist such a beautiful lady."Khushi smiled and said staring in his eyes,"I am happy to hear it."Arnav pecked her lips and said,"Enough of playing,show me Akash's cabin as you have kept it surprise from day one then after finishing work we will leave."Khushi played with his shirt buttons and said,"Ok but we are going for dinner at some Indian restaurant,I miss home."Arnav hugged her and said,"Ok so we will leave after hour."Khushi nodded and hugged him back by resting her head on his chest and said,"Now I don't miss home as I am in heaven."Arnav chuckled and said,"Stop being cheesy Khushi,I know what you are planning you tease."

When Arnav saw the cabin he was happy to see furnishing and decorations,"Khushi its amazing,you have designed it perfect keeping Akash's taste in mind."Khushi beamed at her appreciation and kissed his cheek muttering thankyou.After finishing work they left for hotel as it was 6 in the evening.When they return hotel Khushi said,"I will be ready after taking shower you take in other bathroom."Arnav smirked and said teasing,"What about if we make some love,then take shower and then get ready for dinner."Khushi's cheek turn pink and smiled slowly,"I am in."Arnav smiled and without waiting for second picked Khushi up in his arms to their room while Khushi squealed in response.

In flight,Khushi was sleeping snuggling in blanket with her head on Arnav's shoulder while Arnav was thinking about his last phone to Pratap who told him about Shyam's return and His fight with Shyam as a result he is homeless so Arnav arranged for his stay at some guest house where Shyam will not come to know about him.He turned his head kissed Khushi's temple tucking her hair behind her ear and promised himself'You are mine,I will not anyone to take you away from me and I am sorry for every tear you shed because of me.""Excuse me sir,the flight is about to land can you wake up your wife?"said air-hostess smiling."Sure,thankyou."replied Arnav giving small smile as air-hostess left.Arnav shook Khushi's shoulder and said,"Wake up my sleeping beauty."Khushi hmmed and buried her face in his neck sleepily,Arnav chuckled and said patting her head softly,"Wake up Khushi,the flight is about to land."Khushi opened her eyes slowly and raised her head to look at him and said sleepily,"What time is it in delhi?I am sleepy and I want to sleep more."Arnav smiled as Khushi rested her head on his bicep and said huskily,"May be it is around 9 at night.""Who is coming to pick us up from airport,we are going to Shantivan(RM)?"Arnav replied,"May be N.k or Akash and yes we are living at RM till wedding overs,di and mami were fussing a lot when I called before our flight."Khushi raised her head and said,"Where I was,you didn't tell me about phone call?Give me details,Arnav now." Arnav placed hand on her shoulder and said,"Relax,you were packing last of our thing,they were just complaining that they are mad as we were not there as Jiju haven't told anyone about our main reason for trip to Paris,I mean I have told them before leaving that I have some work but haven't told them we are planning to set up an AR branch for Akash and"he stop while Khushi raised an eyebrow her hands crossed on her chest,"As we were not in pooja,those stupid womens were talking about us,"he paused again and said with hint of anger continued,"we are having fun in Paris instead of taking part in wedding ceremonies."Khushi said angrily,"What?You didn't tell me Arnav before and those womens are terrible,I am sure they are those stupid friends of mami's who keep nagging to Di and nani that they have made mistake by choosing me as your wife instead of their beautiful daughters." Arnav started laughing and said,"Khushi decide whether you are angry with me or them."Khushi punched his chest and said angrily,"Stop laughing,first you didn't tell me about it."When Arnav continued laughing and said,"That hurts but seriously your face was just worth watching when you were describing the last part,I was about to tell but forgot."Khushi also laughed seeing him laughing and said ruffling his hair,"You look so beautiful laughing,my handsome man."

Later at arrival area at Delhi airport,Arnav and Khushi were searching for n.k from past five minutes but there was no sign of him."Bhai,bhabhi."they heard N.K's excited voice from their behind.they turned to see N.k ,Shreya,Anjali and Arjun approaching them smiling,"Mamu."squealed Shreya taking baby steps towards Arnav while Khushi smiled.Anjali came forward and hugged Khushi saying,"I am so happy to get you back now my work will be less."Khushi smiled and said,"Yes Di,I missed you all."Their attention got diverted when they heard,"Yes sweetheart I have brought you lots of toys and chocolates,come on give me kiss here and here."said arnav happily pointing to his both cheeks to Shreya who was in his arms.Shreya replied kissing his cheeks in her childish tone,"Yaa,i will play with them."N.k gave bear hug to Khushi and Arnav and said,"Bhabhi I missed you so much in yesterday's pooja,we would have fun if you have heard Mrs.Sharma's gushing about her beautifull daughter."mimicking beautiful.Khushi giggled as others chuckled and replied to N.k,"You should have recorded her."Just then Arjun cleared his throat and said hugging Arnav,"First lets return home everyone is waiting and Khushi your parents and Adi,payal are also there."Khushi beamed smile to him and said,"Yes lets go home."On their ride home,Anjali and Khushi chatted about pooja and other ceremonies while Arjun and Arnav chatted business with Shreya and n.k playing in n.k's phone.Arnav and Khushi were welcomed warmly by others at rm.After having happy dinner they were in garden chatting about next rasam when shreya said,"Mumma I am sleepy but I want to sleep with mamu."Anjali picked shreya up in her arms and said,"Lets put you to bed then,mamu is talking with everyone so you can sleep with him later." Just then Arnav said,"Di let me take her to our bedroom,I am little tired and having headache so I am retiring for night."Anjali was about to argue when Arnav said,"Di,let her sleep in our bedroom,Khushi will take care of her if she wakes up in night."Khushi smiled and said,"Haan di let her sleep."Anjali nodded sighing and said,"Ok."Arnav left taking shreya in his arms and bidding good night to everyone.After few minutes,Khushi bid bye to her parents,payal and Adi.When Khushi was near car,Garima said,"Khushi beta please come to home tomorrow morning,you have double responsibility as Payal is your sister while akash is your devar so I am not telling you to come and stay with us,take care of Arnav beta."Khushi hugged her and said,"Haan maa,I will come."Payal hugged her and said,"You are bringing all things I have asked you to bring with you when you come to home."Khushi said smiling,"Haan baba."

Later when Khushi entered the room he found Arnav sleeping on couch while shreya on bed,he has changed into his pyjama pants and t-shirt.Khushi got close to him and checked his forehead,she shook his shoulder and said softly,"Arnav,Arnav get up and sleep on bed."Arnav opened his eyes to stare in Khushi's concerned eyes and said sleepily,"I was waiting for private investigators call,my head is paining little more."Khushi held his arm and said with concern,"Should I give you some medicine and investigator will call later,now you sleep."Arnav replied tiredly,"I am having jetleg and give me aspirin,I will be fine."Khushi nodded and covered him by blanket and said,"Ok I will get it you rest meanwhile."Khushi found the medicine and gave him,Arnav took it and said lying back,"I am fine Khushi,don't worry."Khushi gave weak smile and kissed his forehead.After arnav closed his eyes Khushi went to change into her night wear i.e Salwaar kameez of cream colour,she sat close to Arnav her back resting on headboard and massaged his head lightly oiling his hair.Arnav shifted his head in sleep and rested it in her lap while wrapping one arm around her waist.She fell asleep in same position running her fingers through his hair.
