Part 16
Sahil and Chhavi just reached home after spending some time together in the park. They entered the living area and saw some guests and it was none other than Chhavi's father Nishchay and Sahil's parents. They both were very thrilled because they saw their parents after a very longtime.
Alok: Dekha Nishchay..Chhavi aur Sahil ka naam liya..aur voh log aa gaye hai.. ( Sahil sat next to him ,while Chhavi sat next to Sangeeta and Baadi maa).
Nishchay: Haan..bohot lambi umaar hai ..tum dono ki...you both will live very long!..
Sahil ( excited tone): I can't believe it..it such a pleasant surprise dad...aur mom, baadi maa..aap log bhi mujhe nahin bataya ?..Since when did you guys planned all this?..
Chhavi: Aur papa..main bhi aap se bohot naraaz hoon...aab mujhe kyun nahin bataya..anyway..good to see you papa..lekin aap log kab aaye?..
Sangeeta: Well beta..just an hour back..we have been planning for the past few days aur hum sab tum logo ko bohot miss kar rahe the..and we also came for another reason as well..ek good news hai...( Sahil and Chhavi looked very confused about what Sangeeta is trying to say)..
Sahil: Good news?..What is is Mom?..
Sangeeta: well..yeh good news tumhare papa hi bataye ga..
Sahil: Dad..please aap bataye naa...kya surprise hai..please aap log suspense karna baand ki jiye..aur please ..humme bataye...( The elders were smiling ,while Chhavi is also curious to know about the surprise)..
Alok: Thik hai beta..chalo bataye dete hai..we have finally found the auspicious date of wedding date..( Sahil and Chhavi looking at each other shocked as their parents fixed their wedding date unexpectedly ,while the elders were smiling)
Nishchay: Haan..kuch din pehle hum log pandit jee se mile hai..aur unho ne ek bohot aachi date mila hai..according to him...after 2 months it will be considered as the auspicious date..aur hum bhi yeh chahte hai ki tum dono ki shaadi jald se jald ho jaye..
Baadi Maa: Aare wah!..Yeh to bohot aachi khabar hai...congratulations!!( Chhavi tried to hide her emotions as the elders finally announced the wedding date..but for their sake ..she tries to smiles)
Sahil: Ek minute..please if you don't mind..yeh decision lene se pehle..hum log ek baar Chhavi se poochne chahiye..I want her to make the decision..Chhavi..kya tum iss faisle se khush ho?..
Chhavi( tries to smile and looking at him very fondly): Haan Sahil...main iss faisle se khush hoon...main tumse shaadi karne ke liye tayaar hoon!..
Everyone is happy with the decision as their alliance is been fixed,while both of them seeking blessing to their elders . While Baadi maa told the servants to bring some sweets and feeding Chhavi and Sahil. Meanwhile, Gayatri gave shagun to Chhavi ,also putting the khandani bracelet on Chhavi's wrist.Chhavi tried to hide her feelings ,and her tears is slowly falling down but she doesn't want anyone to notice but Sahil understood her feelings as he understood that she is trying to move on.Meanwhile,Chhavi excuses herself and leaves the hall.
At the guest room
Chhavi came inside the room and sat in the bed.While,she opens her suitcase and took the photo frame and it was Nihaal's photograph. She kept on looking at Nihaal's photograph for the very last time and softly touching this photograph very fondly.While, Sahil stood next to the door as he is unable to see her in pains but somehow he stood there as he wanted to give her some space.
Chhavi( talking to Nihaal's photograph very fondly): Well..this is it ..finally ..aaj shaadi ki date fixed ho gaye hai...aur thik do mahine baad..main Shergill parivaar ki bahu banungi..aur Sahil ki biwi( Sahil continues to listen and he understood her feelings) banungi..Main kyun ro rahi ho ..mujhe to khush hona chahiye..please ..don't cry Chhavi!..Tu ro maat!..Nihaal...shaayad main tumse nahin keh paongi..I will always love you Nihaal...aur main hamesha se chahti hoon..ki tum khush raho...I know it is also very hard for me..but aaj maine faisla kiya hai..I should forget you..you were my first love..its true that first love is not meant to be forgotten..lekin..I should move on..mujhe zindagi mein aage baadna hoga..iss liye..mujhe bhool jana chahiye ki maine kissi Nihaal naam ke ladke se kabhi pyaar kiya tha..but I have to do this..not only for you..but for my parents,Sahil's parents and most of all Sahil who supported me through my rough time..and its the time that I should move on...I'm sure..god will help me too..so aaj se ..aur aabhi se..yeh chapter mere liye close..Nihaal sirf mere aache dost hai..aur kuch nahin!..

(Meanwhile,she slowly wipes off her tears and slowly looking at the photograph and trying to be strong ,closed her eyes and painfully tearing Nihaal's photograph and placed in the dustbin..and strongly smiled as she wants to move on and always remembered Nihaal as her best friend not the guy that she loved..while,Sahil closed the door slowly and wanted to leave Chhavi some time alone and leaves )..
