chapter 8

They both broke the kiss breathless..gasping . still unaware of the surroundings lost in world of euphoria they were in.

They stood there eyes closed still reeling with fervent feelings surging through them .

Geet slowly opened her eyes to find the most handsome face on earth in front of her. messed up locks of hair falling on his forehead , shirt wrinkled as her fist played havoc on them,buttons undone in their tussle .his disheveled state , swollen lips told her the most erotic story . slowly the realization dawned upon her what just happened between them .

he was her teacher . she was his student .they cant stand each other for god's sake.now they just kissed.what now.?

She thanked god as the caramel orbs were hooded close , big lashes forming crescent on his cheek .she didn't know react if he had looked at hers , afraid of what she would find in them.

As soon arjun had slackened his arms around her she bolted out .

Leaving him in the dusty murky room veiled by cobwebs..

She left him In a zephyr in emotions he thought would never knock on his door..

He didn't chase her..

He just stood there leaning on the dusty pillar memorizing every details.

But geet hadn't gone far ..she stood right there outside the room 'leaning on the wall trying to catch her breath and grasp on the moment that came as a thunder bolt on her.

What the hell just happened.

Okay'.hey devi maiya . please let it be true.

That was her first prayer .

Yes it was. The sudden intrusion of arjun in her life had confused her.irked her..irritated her to the core .intrigued her ..made her ingenuously happy and scared of same time ..but above of all ..he was there..at least someone was there for her, thought about her.the notion brought a smile on her face.

He does think about her ..the same way she does..doesnt he?

he would have said something .

only if she had waited .

She cursed herself for bolting out like that . She should have waited ..waited for him to say something .the look on his face flashed in front her eyes..eyes that kept her awake for nights had reflection in them..a golden gleam in his chocolate eyes held her with such tenderness she felt she would melt. His just kissed lips had a word on them ..a word that she hadn't heard but the thirst of it had kept her nerves frayed .the moment was perfect .only before she ran and ruined it all..but no she had to be the geet ..jhalli ! she slapped on her forehead.

But that was it .she couldn't handle anymore given the past history with arjun ..who had changed his tender care to bleak aloofness in matter of minutes which she couldn't have taken after the first kiss of her life.

Though this was not the first kiss they had shared but geet's nave age at the time couldn't grasp the meaning of a kiss and so it never crossed her mind.

What She didn't know at that moment the other person was thinking the last kiss they had shared..that was just a peak .but that was the first one..puberty knocking in the door ..thudding of heart..the first love 'the first kiss..marking her as his own..

She wouldn't know the person had his eyes filled remembering every details the 13 year olds soft rose petal lips. And the way her hand clutched around his own ..

No ..dont go '.you have promised.dont go ..maanji ..dont go ..

Her incessant hic cups between the sobs he couldn't control. She wouldn't take any reason .her fear of losing him was most scary to any bribe of Barbie dolls , coloured books or chocolates..she didn't care.she just wanted him.

That geet ..that sweet little geet how could she forget him ..

Maan singh khurana was gone ..forever from her life..so he had come back .despite what she has done t her despite what it cost him,he had come back to her again .

How could not he..she was his geet .

He had just changed his name.. ..and his love couldn't recognize him ..

Can love be this frivolous ?

Vikas slammed satya against the wall..

His eyes were bruning .face contorted the animalistic anger.

Satya was bleeding .but he didn't care. He even didn't remember why was he beating him.whilst satya was senior of his ..he didn't care .satya couldn't have done anything even if he wanted to .

He just needed to beat the crap out of him .

His friends were pulling him off .but he didn't stop .he threw them away and continued .he was surrounded by the whole pack of students .but he didn't care.

Only one picture was flashing in front of him ..

Geet leaning on the corridor wall heaving for breaths.hyperventilating ..hairs cloths everything messy ..the swollen lips ..the smudged kohl of her eyes .the crimson blush told him the story after he saw arjun pull geet into that crappy room.

Rage blinded him ..he was about to hit him again when geet entered the union room ..

What the hell vikas'.! She shouted on top of her lungs.

Vikas looked at satya then geet 'then threw him on the floor .wiped the blood from his lips and simply left like nothing happened..

Everybody else stared at the animal how he changed demeanor .

She looked magnificent, he thought standing meters away from her .his hands tucked in his pocket clad in a casual jean and a powder blue shirt ,sleeves folded till elbow.

sitting alone on the bench under the neem tree ..darkness had draped her in her cozy embrace.she sat there bathed in the moonlight ..falling on her face as loose tendrils flew caressing her face ..she sat there hugging her knees as the white churider bellowed behind her giving her an unearthly appearance . her eyes had a shine , her lips wore a shy smile that completed her beauty . how he had imagined her to be.

He sighed contented ..

So if you're feelin' lonely ? don't
You're the only one I ever want.
I only wanna make it good
So if I love you a little more than I should...

he took his steps towards her . she oblivious to his presence sat there mind drifted to some thought that brought that angelic smile on her face.

Sitting alone at this hour ?

he had asked as he approached her . startled by his sudden presence she looked back . her surprised eyes caught his gaze .. the unnerving shimmer in his eyes made her breathe hitch .she turned away her face ..head slightly bent trying to hide the blush had just crept on her cheeks .

"wonder what had kept you awake so late!" He rasped as he took the place beside her..and continued after a pause.." or should I say who ?"

She had lifted her head surprised at his words .could not believe he would ask that .

Oh how the kiss had changed everything..!

She still didn't know how to behave around him. What to say .how to talk .

But arjun understood that .

I could ask you the same..

She asked while trying hard not to give away the effect he was having on her. He looked as handsome as ever .and after the kiss it had become impossible to look at him .

Oh I came here to see some one.. he replied not tearing his gaze away from her . he had noticed she hadn't lifted her eyes once to look at him .her voice had that shakiness that he adored.he was much happy to notice the effect he had on her.

Who ?

Oh someone you wouldn't know..

Really'? who' she had asked now tilting her head sideways . she didn't like the way he said that.

Jealous much ? he had thought in his mind.but instead asked back .

who do you think ?

He gazed in her eyes and watched the realization finally dawn upon her. The way she lowered her eyes and her big lashes hid the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen . he smiled and leaned back .

The contentment had no bound ..

He was here with her after so long wait . finally he was with her , got to watch as her untouched love caressed his form .

He leaned back and rested his head behind looking at the moon pouring love n them . much aware of her eyes on himself.

How did you know I would be here? She had asked though it was a mere whisper.

I didn't '''''''''. , he added after a pause .. just hoped!

Geet had to look away as she felt the warmth laced his voice. such tenderness that made her feel so contented. The underlying meaning seeped through her .

He had hoped for her ..why does it make her feel so good , so complete she wondered.

Did you get what you had hoped for? She whispered after a pregnant pause in an almost inaudible voice.

Surprised arjun looked at her ..he couldn't see her face that was turned away but the question stirred him .

Time will tell .

Only that much he could say .

Comfortable Silence prevailed on them once again. Both of them stayed lost in dreams they had never dared to see.

Arjun was first to break the reverie .. wanting to lighten up the moment.

So couldn't sleep without me huh ..?

What ..how could you just say that . geet clearly bowled by his suggestive question .

Oh so you can talk ..i thought cat ..umm arjun got your tongue ..!

Hawww'! She clasped her mouth clearly 'she huffed while arjun gazed her affectionately ..amazed by the way she pouted her lips as she failed to form coherent words.

you are so ..so ..you .

me what ..?

geet pouted without replying .

You always do that when you are mad . his unimaginable gruff voice made her shiver.

Arjun didn't answer in stead just gazed unblinking .

Did I tell you how cute you look when you are angry . she watched his lips quirk in that sexy smirk ..not believing in herself , she shied away .

She didn't trust her voice to reply . she felt his searing gaze on her but couldn't turn to look at him ..the skin of her nape tingled.she could feel goose bumps on her arm as his gaze caressed her.

Suddenly arjun's chuckle surprised her ..she was about to look at him when he said.

This is so not you ..never imagined a kiss would shut your ever smart mouth ..

if you are this thrown by a kiss wonder what will happen when '.he had left his word in mid air ..when a after a pregnant pause geet got what he said and was completely out of words at his trademark lopsided smile or smirk that adorned his handsome face.

You are bad ..very bad '! All she could manage.

Arjun let out the laugh he was holding ..she was pleasure to rile up.

Geet stumped by his out of the character flirting stood up.not knowing what to say ..how to stay smart being at the receiving end she decided to escape him.

I m going ..! she huffed and walked past him ..

But she was stopped by a tug on her hand.

Surprised she looked back to find arjun big warm hand was clasped around her own.he was no more laughing..

Don't..

He whispered.

Her heart stopped beating as she read the look on his face.

The look on his face was unfathomable .so intense was his eyes she feared she would loose herself in him . she could no longer save herself.protect herself..he had made her his ..

No power on earth could detach her from him as he held her hand .

She realized this with every passing second.

His arrogance..his rudeness, , his bluntness , his intense eyes held none of them ..a emotion so strong .older than time ..a pull stronger than gravity .she swallowed with realization the emotion was engulfing her.

His honey orbs shone in pure unadultered love.

Don't ever go away like that ..

His voice shuddered her..before she could understand she was landed on his lap by a strong pull on his arm .

I'm dying to catch my breath

Oh, why don't I ever learn?

I've lost all my trust

Though I've surely tried to turn it around

Can you still see the heart of me?

All my agony fades away

When you hold me in your embrace

She looked upon the face that she was crazy about ..so mystic they looked as he had pulled her on him .his fingers laced in her silken tresses .

Their breaths mingled starting a journey together..

She lifted her hand and rested on his shoulder.

Kiss me geet ..!

She could hear thundering of her heart as his heart throbbed against her chest .

She gazed on the eyes that held her captive.

Slowly lifted her fingers to touch him ..

He shuddered as her fingers caressed his cheek stroking the corner of his lips'.his other hand snaked around her waist pulling her flush against himself.he could never get used to the feeling of her soft body against him.how perfect she was in his arms .her eyes tied with his own ..

He sighed closing his eyes as she bent down to kiss his forehead.

She kissed his eyes one after another. Then the tip of his nose..then planted a kiss on either cheek. Her wet lips traced his jaw, as she felt the stubble prick her lips. His breath quickened as she made her way to his neck .he clasped her tighter as she planted a sloppy kiss on his ear ..

He pulled away to look at her .she had her eyes downcast as her fingers clasped on the lapel of his shirt ..her lashes hid his way to her eyes. eyes that held that emotion for him , emotion he had longed for.

look at me geet ... he rasped ..as his fingers made tiny circles on her waist ..

she shook her head .

he tilted her chin. her cheeks graced with the brightest hue of crimson ..

he watched fondly as she slowly lifted her eyes.

her eyes held that emotion so strong took his breath away ..

Without a warning he pulled her lips on him and crashed his mouth on hers by a searing toe curling kiss ..

A kiss through which he poured his love on her .

She felt an unknown sensation hummed through her vein as his soft lips sucked her lower lips bit it for entrance in her mouth ..she sighed against his mouth and opened her mouth and let his tongue collide with her own as sweet ache ran through her .tantalizing throbbing hummed through her.

I tried many times but nothing was real

a shadow watched them from a far lurking behind the trees .none of them noticed the fire in the the pair of eyes as they burned hole on their back .fist pumped .teeth clenched but didn't come forward .
