Chapter-27

Swayam couldn't sleep properly… he kept turning from one side to another. His mind was fully occupied with thoughts and many questions whose answers he never knew…his mind was playing a dirty game with him now. It kept rewinding all moments he shared with his best friend , Rey… they were the best buddies . he believed in him more than himself , they always stood for each other ….and now ….it was still hard for him to digest all what happened a few days back..how could he do that…. How could he do that to my sister??He was getting more and more frustrated …

" he was trapped swayam… he believed what he saw with his own eyes…but he never understood he was being trapped … rey made only one mistake … he blindly believed what he saw without searching for the truth…" Sharon said as she turned on her side to face swayam

"what are you trying to point out Sharon… if you are trying to take his side , then I tell you before hand , I don't have any interest in hearing all this crap…"

" I am not trying to take his side swayam .. I only wanted to make you aware of the truth.."she got up from the bed and sat comforting her back on the bed rest

"what truth "he got up irritated "chaahat se bada kya sach hai , that I need to know"

Sharon said the whole incident to swayam..the dirty game shivam played….

"JHOOT!!!!! sab jhoot hai…[ he clutched his hair]I don't understand 1 thing .. u all believe in his false stories now also…????? Again he is trying to take advantage of my sisters innocence … I cant believe this.. how can one think so low .. "

"what are you trying to say swayam .. Whatever I told is the truth … and … "

" kisne kaha tujhe ye sab??? He interrupted holding her tightly by her shoulders

" taani.. taani told me all this"Sharon replied , she couldn't make out what was going on in swayams mind

" wahhh n taani se kisne kaha??" swayam asked in a sarcastic tone

" what is your problem swayam??"Sharon could not understand what was going on in swayam s mind

" tum mere problem ki baat mat karo.. pehle jawab do.."

"what??… okkk[she calmed herself] offcourse rey ne kaha taani se "

" And taani believed !!!!" he clutched his fist ..

Sharon grabbed him by his shoulders and made him face her .. " what are you thinking swayam … you think all these are false??"

" … sab jhoot hai …he made a story and told my sis … again … once more …. He took advantage of my sisters innocence…. Taani believed in his story…. I don't understand why she is like this …how can she blindly trust him like that, how can she believe in that man…. The one who left her after [ he clutched the bedhseet in fury ,… he wanted to smash reys face at the moment ]… comes after 5 years and makes any story and… and… you all believed in him .. what *****…. Kuch bhi ho … I don't trust him any more " he got up from the bed … sharon looked at him shocked … she didn't know how to react… she didn't expect this reaction…..

"you may sleep .. mujhe neend nahi ayega aaj raath…" he walked out leaving a confused Sharon behind … she was totally confused now .. she didn't know what to do .. how to make swayam believe … she never thought swayam would think like that … he had lost all trust he had on rey … now its difficult .. really difficult ….

Morning

Chaahat rubbed her eyes … " mmm…." She left a drowsy groan and turned to her side .. she kept smiling seeing taani still asleep… chaahat rememberd the day when she and taani together made rey awake by dipping his finger in hot cofee … Chaahat started giggling … " kash paapa bhi yahan hote …it would have been fun…." Chaahat leaned over taani and started pulling her " mamma… mammah utho na…. " taani groaned in her sleep but the little doll continued her sweet toture until taani woke up. Both of them freshened up and got ready after a few minutes

" mammah, plz call paapa.. plz plz plz…" chaahat hugged taani on her legs and started making sweet demands

" nahi chaahat abhi nahi" taani stopped chaahat " abhi hume neeche chalna hoga, after breakfast we will call paapa ok?"

"mamma, aaj paapa chaahat se milne aa raha hai na…." chaahat looked into taani's eyes , smiling happiliy expecting an yes from her mother

Taani didn't know what to answer , she had told him not to come as she was well aware of her brothers anger , but she also knew that he would never disappoint his daughter , she need to call him . taani took her phone and made a call " ha , hello rey…" before she could say a word more , chaahat grabbed the phone from her hand

"paapa , aap chaahat se milne aa raha hai na??"chaahat asked in excitement, her tiny brown eyes twinkled in happiness

"ha princess, I am on my way" rey replied from the other end

"sach???? Yeyyy paapa aa raha hai" chaahat started hopping up and down ,smiling in glee .. she hugged taani

"chaahat phone mujhe do, paapa se zarrori baat karni hai,[but chaahat moved back making an angry face] phone dijiye chaahat.." taani walked upto chaahat

"nahi , chaahat wants to talk now …nahi dunga phone" chaahat gripped the phone tightly making an angry face

"paapa ,chaahat ko der sari chocolates chaahye, aur icecream aur…

"chaahat ,zid mat karo, phone mujhe dijiye" taani tried to grab the phone while chaahat kept moving back continuing her chatter , finally after a small tug of war and crying from chaahat's side taani got the phone

" hellooo…"she couldn't hear anything.. she cut the call and tried once more but the phone was out of coverage

"chaahat what did paapa say??"

"that he is on the way" chaahat gave a wide smile

Taani was tensed now , she didn't want yet another argument between rey and swayam

"mamma … chaahat is feeling hungry, chalo neeche chalte hai" chaahat dragged taani out of the room.. taani walked along with chaahat but her mind was fully occupied with thoughts ….

Breakfast table

Chaahat was getting bored now , everyone was silent while having food and chaahat hated silence… "mummah chaahat is getting bored … mummah aaj paapa" before chaahat could continue Sharon cut in as she sensed swayams reaction "chaahat , today we will go for a shopping, and we will buy lot of dolls, chocolates, icecreams….. "

" wooowww… sachiii… " chaahat smiled in glee and Sharon assured her in a smile .

Soon they finished their breakfast

"taani be ready with chaahat , we will go for a shopping… how long will you shut yourselves in a room , it has been 3 days now , you will also feel fresh "

" no sharon , mera man nahi hai"

"mammah aapko aana hoga … warna chaahat aapse baat nahi karenge" chaahat folded her hands and turned back , stamping her foot showing her displeasure.

"dekho chaahat .." taani tried to turn chaahat and make chaahat face her but she shrugged off from taani's grip and moved towards the side " nahi, chaahat aapse katti hai"

Taani went to chaahat and bent on her knees to face chaahat

" okk sorry[holding her ears making a puppy face , chaahat looked at her from the corner of her eye , still in a serious mode], hum saath mein chalenge okk??"

chaahat gave a wide smile and hugged taani round her neck " okk mumma.. love u ,ab chalo , we will get ready" chaahat dragged taani in excitement.

Soon they got ready and then chaahat , taani , Sharon and rehan left for shopping.

They reached a mall and started buying things , chaahat was super excited now but rehan was in a very bad mood . he started crying "sharon tum rehaan aur chaahat ko leke toy store mein javo, it seems rehaan is getting bored , I will settle things here and will wait near our car "

" ok taani….. chalo chaahat" Sharon replied to taani and three of them left to the toy store

Taani settled the accounts in that store and picked the bags and got out.

A pair of black eyes caught sight of her…the dark balls dialated as it scanned her from head to toe… chewing the pan , the hard figure followed her, his lusty eyes were still fixed on her .. taani stopped at a card store in an abandoned corner, she went inside and picked one card … he hid himself outside peeping in to see her … he tightened his fist , brushed his shabby hair with his grimy palm and continued chewing the pan…. she look the same , same angelic beauty which mesmerized him years back… same flawless skin, perfect curves , luscious lips , hazel eyes …. …he took in a deep heavy breath…. The same girl…. There was something in her which always surprised him, some angelic aura which drove him towards her…. He was attracted to her from the very 1^st day , he wanted her from that day but somehow or the other she escaped from him….. he couldn't take his eyes off her , every small movement of her was driving his adrenalin gush…. he so wanted her at the moment…. She was the only thing that he falied to secure despite of his intense desire and many efforts , again she stood in front of him … 5 years has passed but age seems to have least effect on her , she seems to look the same ….last time ….. he could have had her ….. but….. he tightened his fist ….he looked on either sides … this time no one can stop me , no one can rescue her from my hands…. This time I wont let her go…..

she got out and started walking towards the lift, she searched for her phone to inform Sharon .oops it was with chaahat.. she kept it with her to take her papas call .. taani smiled as she walked towards the lift ..

"AAHHH" she tried to cry but his hard palm blocked her mouth and her nose ..

EXTENDED… CHAPTER 27-B

she was dragged to a abandoned corner ,she was feeling suffocated , choked , her arms were pulled back , he held them tightly …. Her arms were paining now , she tried to turn her head towards the side to see him , she tried to kick him ,push him, shrug off, cry loud, but all her efforts were in vain, he was far strong … the smell of alcohol , sweat and pan and his tight grip , she tried to do whatever she can to free herself … he turned her sideways ,and forced her head down to smell a cloth… she used all her strength to prevent but he pushed her head forcefully down to the cloth… she felt her head heavy, her knees week , her lids were flickering and she fell onto his arms …with all her force she tried to open her eyes … she saw his blurred figure .. "t..tu..tum" she tried to say but she became unconscious … he lifted her up and carried her in his arms

20 minutes later

Sharon and chaahat came to the main entrance where taani said she will wait for them.. rehan was fully engaged with his new toy car now ..

"Sharon aunty… mummah kahan hai…" chaahat asked while she checked from one corner to the other..sharon's eyes were also searching for taani

"shayad car k pass gayi hogi, come chaahat we will go and check there"

"haa" chaahat noded

They went to the car . Sharon asked the driver whether taani came but he replied in a no "kahan gayi hogi… its getting late …..will try on phone" Sharon tried taani's number but found the phone beeping in chaahat's hand ..

"aunty mummah kahan hai…" chaahat kept pulling sharon's suit..

" don't worry shona.. she will come now okk.." Sharon tried to smile while she cupped chaahats face to assure her , but she was getting tensed now…time was running… Sharon was feeling cold now ,she didn't know what to do with two kids, and taani… missing??? She couldn't hold anymore and she ringed swayam …just then taani's phone rang…

Chaahat picked up the call

"hellooo paapaa…." She started sobbing

"kya hua princess… tum ro kyu rahi ho, paapa reached delhi, aur abhi aap se milne aa raha hai"

"paapa… mamma is not to be seen"

"kya.. yeh tum kya bol rahi ho chaahat…" rey asked , he couldn't register what he heard

" ha papa , kuch der pehle vo hamare saath thi but now chaahat cant find mamma , Sharon aunty bhi pareshan ho rahi hai….kya kare..[she started sobing] chaahat ko abhi mamma chahye … kahan gayi vo….chaahat k pass kyu nahi aa rahi hai…"

"kya… [he felt his blood frozen.. whats going on.. taani… chaahat kya keh rahi thi…]chaahat give the phone to Sharon aunty…"

"haa" chaahat walked to Sharon and extended the phone to Sharon.. but she was on phone with swayam "aunty , paapa ka phone hai , baat karo na…" she cut swayam's call immediately and grabbed phone from chaahat

Sharon:"hello"

" ha Sharon, its me…chaahat .. chaahat kya keh rahi thi… taani… taani teek hai naa??.. kahan hai vo" his words were broken in fear

"Rey… taani…."

"kya hua Sharon… bolo… kahan hai taani…"

"rey… I doubt…. she is missing"

"kya.. n what do you mean by you doubt….how can you be that careless… how could you leave her alone …..whats happening……where are you all now ???" he burst out

"rey.. she was there with us, and she only told me to go with the kids to the toy store, but…."

"tell me where are you, I am coming….."

"matlab rey, tum ??...you reached delhi??"

"yaa"
