Hello guys...thank you everyone for your overwhelming response...so here is a long long long update for you...hope you'll all like it. and yeah silent readers, please like it if you loved reading my work.

"How the hell I could do this to her….? It's me because of whom she's hurt…. Person who should be the reason of her smiles and happiness is the reason of her being hurt…." Rey said.
"No…it's me who is to be blamed….how could I just forgot her…. It should had been me who should had been thought about all this….how much hurt she could get… rather I forced you to do this….i'm sorry rey…. I'm really sorry." Said a guilty swayam.
"Whatever…. I shouldn't had done this….and the end point is that I hurted her, I made her sad, I'm the reason of her being upset…." He said and left them and followed taani to the seminar room.
Taani was busy in files….or rather trying to busy herself.
"Taani…listen I wanna say…." Rey tried to start from somewhere.
"Rey please….right now I'm busy….. we'll talk later." Taani replied, in a blunt voice though filled with hurt.
"Taani…look I know….i know that you are hurt but let me say…" Rey tried to say but Taani cut him off.
"Enough Rey….why don't you leave me alone…. I too may have some work to do…. Just because your all important things are done now and you have nothing important left, you are here. But Rey now I'm busy…..and for heaven's sake let me do some work." For the first time taani was so angry with rey.
He was about to say something when suddenly the peon enters and said "taani VP sir ne aapko aur dance team ko apne office bulaya hai."
"Okay…I'm just coming." Taani said and picked the files and started to walk outside when she turned back towards Rey and said….
"Please come to the office with the dance team of St. Louis…. And yeah not late….not everyone is gonna wait for you." She completed with a clear hint of a harsh sarcasm.
Taani said and went out…. As soon as she had talked Rey like this…. She had felt something piercing her heart, she felt bad for him, she knew that it's gonna hurt him, she was upset, angry that she's hurting Rey…. But strangely she couldn't stop herself. In fact she had an urge to it again and again, as she remembered that how Rey had gone to Goa without telling her…. "if bhai and Rey didn't thought once that how much it will hurt me…. Leave the gang that they would even have a hint how hurt or upset I'm." she mumbled.
More she wanted to forget and forgive, more she felt stabbed deceitfully by those whom she had loved most. Again and again she thought how lonely she was feeling right now…. No one by her side. Persons whom she thought will be at her side always…. Her friends, her caring brother, and….and Rey…Rey too…. None of them trusted her, or felt her even a bit important in their life.
Thinking all this she reached the VP office and found the whole gang there. She quietly entered and stood a bit aloof and waited to listen VP.
"So you guys went to Indiafest even after you were told not to." Said VP looking accusingly towards all of them….
"and you miss GS rather than telling to the authorities…. You chose to remain quiet. When you couldn't persuade the authorities for the permission of indiafest, you defied the rules. How irresponsible is that…. GS herself is helping and encouraging to break the rules."
Everyone jaw was dropped as they heard this. They already were feeling guilty, and now they were thoroughly shocked. Swayam was the first to speak… "But sir, taani was not a part of anything…. She didn't knew about this, she is not at all to be blamed…. Please sir try to understand…. She didn't knew that we were at Goa."
"Oh really…… this is great….now there will be covering up for each other's mistakes….she hided about yours, and now you are trying to fool me….. is it even possible that Taani….your sister, Rey's girlfriend, and a part of your group didn't knew about it…. Don't try to fool me…I'm not a kid." Said VP in a quite irritated tone.
"Sir but it's true…" Rey tried to say but only stopped by AVP who just entered the office.
"Enough Mr. Reyansh….do you guys really think that we all are dumb….. no… understand…..and you Taani…..how the hell you can misuse your position…..rather than being a responsible GS, you are messing up with rules itself for your own personal relations. You helped them, you must had known about all this and still chose to keep quiet…just because they are your friends…" AVP scolded Taani in a bitter tone.
"She is innocent…..she hadn't an idea about…." Swayam tried to say.
"Let me complete… I'm not here to listen your nonsense…. So miss GS do you have any brains….? Or you can be just an epitome of dumbness and irresponsibility…. GS herself is encouraging students to defy the rules….dumb useless students, and more dumb and more useless their GS…." She completed.
Taani was too shocked to say a word….she was confused, hurt, angry, upset….. beyond limits. She couldn't take it anymore….
"I'm sorry…. As a GS it's my responsibility….that's it. So I'm resigning from the post of GS." Taani said and came out from the office, not able to control her tears.
"Khushboo can you please control yourself…. We were here to talk about something else too…. Whatever happened….happened. but still these students are the most efficient students…. And taani has proved herself flawless in organizing events…. And now our college has to organize the "Eureka" and our main organizing committee…. What we are gonna do now?" VP was tired of khushboo's extra interference.
"Are we gonna organize Eureka…?" Rey asked.
"Yeah…we are gonna organize it….or I should ask can we organize "Eureka" when our GS has resigned…. She was so good at organizing things….and now…" VP took a sigh.
"Wait a minute…. I'll tell something now…. Look guys you guys are gonna have a one month suspension….for defying the rules of authorities." Khushboo said leaving everyone's jaw dropped in shock.
"But it's too much…. I mean one month suspension…it's…" Rey tried to say something.
"And here our college's reputation is at stake….because of you guys….got it….our college will face so much embarrassment if we stepped back." She shouted.
"or you guys have a choice….a deal….persuade taani to remain at the post of taani till "Eureka" is completed and you guys will have no punishment."
Exactly at that time Taani entered in the office, everyone looked at her…. This punishment was really too much, and everyone wanted to stop taani, not just because it would remove their punishment but they knew that she was an efficient and hard working GS.
"Sir actually it's my resignation letter…. Now it's official…. I don't wanna be GS." She said keeping everything in short.
"Why the hell you are doing this….." Rey couldn't help doing all this, and grabbed her arm, pulling her towards himself, making eye contact with her, he blurted out in anger.
"Rey…..leave me…." She was quite embarrassed and whispered angrily.
"Behave yourself….. it is office…. And wherever you are…you are not supposed to manhandle a girl….got it. And you…. Well….Taani there is a deal…I wont go around circle….simple and short…Taani your friends are gonna have a one month suspension….and the only way they can prevent this is that you have to take back your resignation…. At least till "Eureka"….basically you have to organize "Eureka"….." AVP said.
" What….? But why….? It's wrong…. Sir in a way you are forcing me to withdraw my resignation…." Taani said angrily confused.
"Whatever…. But you have to do this or otherwise…." VP said….. "even we don't have any choice."
"Sir there's a way…. Rey can be the GS…and other members will help him to do this….moreover being a team and a complete group of friends, they do have a perfect understanding. They won't need anyone else…." Taani said with a hint of sarcasm which everyone got instantly.
"Sorry sir…. You may increase the punishment, but I'm not gonna do anything if taani is not the GS and organizing the event." Rey glanced towards taani and said when quickly Swayam said too…. "me too Sir…" followed up with the whole gang.
"Okay fine….all of you had created enough drama…." Taani said angrily to them and turned towards VP, took back the resignation letter, tore it and said…. "I don't have any choice… I'll start the preparations." And came out of the room angrily.
"Okay then right now….all of you can leave the room."
All of them left for the canteen where they found her sitting alone. They all exchanged looks to decide who's gonna talk to her. This time Swayam and Rey went to her and looked at her, trying to find some words.
"Taani…I wanted to talk to you….actually we all…"Swayam said, along with Rey and gang was watching them from a distance.
It was then when she noticed rey and Swayam….. she again remembered how any of them didn't cared about her a bit, and left for goa without even telling her once. "Why don't you guys listen….. look I just don't wanna talk to anyone. So leave me alone with myself…. I'm better alone rather than with you guys and spoiling your fun and plans."
"Taani please don't say such a thing. At least first listen…." Swayam tried to say.
"What's here to listen….? And why the hell you are wasting your energy on me….? Use it somewhere else….something useful…. Who am I ? And there is nothing left to listen…. I really can't take it anymore….. I'm a human being too with emotions and feelings. I too may get hurt…. And yeah I'm hurt….really hurt….and you know why…. Because I'm hurt by those whom I love most." Taani couldn't refrain herself, her voice cracked up in between, she burst out in tears and after letting her raw emotions out she ran from there.
"I'm sorry Rey…" Sharon came forward and said but Rey was in no mood to listen…. He just couldn't see her hurt….and this time she was too much in pain and hurt.
"You know what….she's right….we're all to be blamed…and me…most of it…. I knew that it'll hurt her….still I did it. It was me who couldn't see what's my priority…. It's actually her….i'm incomplete without her…. It's me….. but now…. I would make it right…. No one else…. I would bring that smile back." Rey said with tears in his eyes and left for fire exit where he knew that taani would be.
When he reached fire exit, and opened the door slowly, what he saw…. It crushed his heart, he wanted to destroy everything, he felt the world is going to be doomed, he wanted everything to end….. it was so so so painful…. Taani was sitting on stairs, her head digging in her knees, her hands wrapped around her knees….so shrunk in herself, as if tired of everything and crying endlessly. Her sobs, breaking into crying now and then, her tears…… he instantly wanted to hurt everyone immensely responsible for her state including himself.
But he had to talk to her….. he can't leave her like this….it would be better to destroy everything in existence rather than to be in a world where she is upset and hurt.
"Taani…" he almost whispered gaining her attention, stepping towards her.
"You…?" she couldn't say anything due to her sobs, but she just couldn't forgot…. It would be useless t be there so she quietly picked her bag and started to walk towards the door.
She had walked two stairs already, her foot was on the third when rey pulled her and caught her as she fell in his arms. Both were in an intense eyelock, rey looking in her eyes how much hurt she was.
Taani came quickly out of trance and balanced herself, still in rey's arrest as he held her hands, trying to intertwine their fingers.
"Taani this time I'm not gonna leave you….we have to talk…" Rey said looking directly into her eyes, pulling her close to himself, pinning her body to the wall, and going closer….so close that their hearts could converse, could beat in a rhythm, touching each other's bodies in a complete symmetry.
"Of course you wont leave me now….because it's your wish now…. Whenever you want you will be my side and whenever you want you can just leave me alone for the better things of your life…right Rey." Taani now wanted to tell him how hurt she was….. she wanted to make him feel the feeling of being deceived by the person whom you love most and more than that, her anger, her fury….. she was unstoppable now.
"Taani…you are angry, you are hurt…I understand….yeah it's my fault….but at least let me say something….why don't you understand…. I can't see you like this…. I love you….i cant see you like this" Rey said with wet eyes.
"Then don't see me…. Reyansh Singhania…he has definitely better things to do than wasting time on me….a useless girl who's nothing more than a door mat for anyone."
"No Taani…. Please taani… look at me… and you are important for everyone…. For your friends, for Swayam and most of all… me…. Taani why don't you understand this thing….? You are everything for me…I cant imagine anything in my life without you…. I swear, not a single moment when I didn't thought about you…. You were like with me….. in my heart, in my soul."
"Stopped rey….. don't talk these philosophical things…. I just don't wanna listen to you…." Taani screamed now.
"Say anything, do anything, give me any punishment, but don't say that you don't wanna talk to me…. It hurts….it really hurts taani…" Rey pleaded.
"What else I'm supposed to say….? Tell me Rey what….? Is there anything left to say when I know that I'm not at all important for anyone…. You have your own priorities…. Rey it just hurts to know that….that I'm last for you…." Taani said while sobbing….
"Taani you're not the last….." Rey tried to say in between…
"Let me complete…… Rey it pains….but you know what I'll be okay with it…. All over my life I had faced this…. Probably I don't deserve love or care…. And you don't need to feel guilty about it….after all you have your own life…with your passion, your friends, your best friends….bhai and Sharon…. And you know what….. I'll be okay even this way…. You used to hate me…. If I can live with your disliking, your hatred, then surely I can live like this. You know why…. Because I love you…. I'd loved you, I love you, and I'll love you. I'm sorry but I can't help it…. I can't help it that I'm just like this….. I can't stop loving you…. But I have understood that what's important for you…. I need time to take it, but I promise I'll. I'll convince myself that for everyone I would remain a door mat…. Anyway I'm so sorry that you had to waste so much time and energy on such a menial person…. On your girlfriend who loves you so desperately that she can wait you for hours, who'll understand everything and even then if she's the last for her love, she won't mind." Taani kept saying, sobbing in between, unable to stop, not even wanted to stop, she was so much frustrated….. that….couldn't help but shout and scream and sob and cry.
"TAANI….. please stop…. I beg you….. I beg you…..please kill me, just slash my throat open, burn me alive, do anything, but don't say that you are not important for me…..don't say this….you are….you are above anything else in my life…. Above me… to hell with everyone…..it's you about whom I kept thinking each and every second. I know I hadn't been a perfect boyfriend, I'm blessed to have you in my life, it's my sheer luck that you're with me…. You are not the last person for me…. You're the one for whom I live, my life was barren and dry without you, you filled it with smiles, fun and life…. You're the owner of my life, my love, my soul, my heart…." Rey said, completely breaking down, freeing her from his grip as he himself had no power left, he felt all the energy, all the power sucked out of him, and just kneeling on taani, now their for heads too were touching, rey's body had covered taani's petite figure completely.
