Chapter 15B: Yeh vaadha raha...
The next few days whisked speedily……
It was the day before the final court hearing…….Riya is in her desk and thinking about it when she gets a call from a new number…..She picks it up….."hello"
Voice on the other side, "mujhse chutkaara paane keilye thayaar beiti ho, huh?"
"SURAJ" she voiced subconsciously and was totally stunned getting his call…

Riya stood before the room in the hotel which Suraj had mentioned……
She knocked the door……
She heard his voice from inside "come in…"
She entered slowly and saw him sitting majestically on the couch and he had a winning smile on his face….
He spoke up, "toh tum aa hi gayi…..Welcome back darling.."
She walked in confidently….and spoke up before he could say anything more, "tum jaanthe ho ke main yahaan kyun aayi hoom Suraj…..tumne kaha tha ke ek baar milungi toh woh bond papers waapas deh dhoge aur kal court mein bhi kuch problem nahi karoge…..mutual consent se divorce ho jaayega…you promised me that Suraj! …."
Suraj: haan kaha tha….I don't refuse that…..ab bhi main wahi sab keh raha hoom…..
Riya: [raising her eyebrows as to what his intentions were] so give me those papers…..
Riya had been a silent partner in few of Suraj's businesses…….a gimmick by him during their life as husband and wife…She was least interested in all that but even then he had forcefully pulled her into it…..And during those times, he had made her sign some bond papers as well…..So now, Suraj had called her and reminded her of all those papers…..and blackmailed her to come and meet him once to get all that back….
Since Riya wanted all of that back to ensure peace in her life, she came to meet him
Suraj: [getting up and walking closer to where she stood] not so soon sweetheart! I mean itna bhi jaldi kya hai? Kal se tum mere wife nahi rahogi….aur phir tumaara dobaara shaadi bhi ho jaayega…..Before all that, I want something from you….
Riya: [confused] What?
Suraj: aaj raat yahi mere saat raho….usske hone se pehle mere saat...just once Riya...[he came to her like a totally desperate and obsessed guy...]
Riya stepped back as he came closer and voices, "don't you dare Suraj….."
Suraj: [trying to grasp her hands, voices] ek aakhri baar mera yeh wish poore kar dho phir tum kal se bilkul aazaad….uss Arjun ke saat khushi se rehlena…...main dobaara tumaare life mein kabhi nahi dikhunga…..
He had just managed to catch her when someone spoke up, "woh toh waise bhi tum dikhne waale nahi ho Suraj……Riya ke saamne hi nahi kisi ke bhi saamne nahi aavoge….kyun ki tum jail mein hoge……"
Riya and Suraj turned back to see Arjun standing right at the door of the room….
Riya smiled and sprinted to his side….while Arjun continued,"tumne kya socha….tum bulaavoge aur Riya akele tumaare paas aa jaayegi…..agar aisa socha toh bohat galat socha!"
Suraj's rage was visible in his cruel face and red eyes…he scowled at Riya.."You B***H…….tumaari itni himmat ke tumne mujhe…Suraj ko fool kiya….."
Arjun had been controlling himself for quite sometime now…..this time, all of his control went for a toss…..He asked Riya to relax and wait outside…
She was reluctant to go leaving him alone but Arjun pushed her out and bolted the door…….
Arjun turned around to Suraj and punched him right on his face…..He beat him so hard that Suraj couldn't stand up back on his foot….He vented out all his anger that had bottled up...all his anger for what Suraj had done to Riya...the tortures she had endured due to him...everything came out in a matter of few seconds...
Arjun caught hold of his collar and pulled him up…..He voiced like a thunder, "tumaare uphar bohat saare criminal cases file hua hai…aur saare saboot bhi tumaare khilaaf hai Suraj…..tum jaise criminal ke saath rehne keliye koyi judge nahi kahega….. tum chaaho ya na chaaho Riya ko aasaani se divorce mil hi jaayega……aur tum zindagi barr tumaare unn cases ke peeche daudthe rahoge…...I wont let you live in peace Suraj...Samjhe ya Samjhaavum?"
Saying that, he came out banging the door behind him……by then ETF had also reached there….
Suraj was taken into custody for the illegal dealings and businesses which he was operating secretly behind the family businesses….There were few attempt to murder cases too which Shree and Arjun had dug out!
Arjun searches and also destroys the bond papers which Riya had signed…….

Next day, the case proceeds smoothly…Suraj is also brought to the court from police custody…..everything sails past smoothly……He seems to have lost his arrogance a little….now that his own position is shaken up, he doesn't fight much against it…..
He gives in to the divorce……
Finally, Riya is free from the torturous marriage…….she comes out of the knot…….Once the divorce is given and they step out, she rushes into Arjun's arms and cries her heart out……..it was tears of joy…….
It was only because of Arjun that she could see this day when she felt like a free bird out of a cage….She felt so good as if she was all set to fly again……she felt that her clipped wings were back again in full vigor…..
And the only reason for all this happiness was Him…..her Arjun…..
Now nothing stopped them from uniting as husband and wife and live their life happily!
