Khushi Gupta was indeed a very happy soul. Today she was over the moon..
She had waited for almost 16 years for this...She finally got her Love. Her Arnav..
She woke up with a broad smile on her face, her high cheekbones enhancing her lively expression. Her heart and mind were both jumping up and down TOGETHER.
Heart and Mind: Two things that never walked together. Always fought and was usually the cause for some of the world's biggest problems.
But today, they were working together, now that is a revelation in its self!
Khushi jumped out of bed in her usual PJs. (a large oversized t shirt with the Mickey mouse logo and a pair of billabong minis) She walked over to her table and picked up her phone only to receive a message from her one and only Arnav.
She opened the text and as soon as she read it, turned an odd shade of crimson, like the ripe juice of strawberries from a bright, juicy box of fruit. The text read: G'morning munchkin, hope you slept well, just wanted to tell you that I love you and I plan on showing just how much today, so hope you have some energy left. Only yours, Arnav..
She placed her phone down slowly and shyly walked over to her closet, she decided to pick something new out. Khushi chose a pair of pale white shorts with squared gold studs embedded on the pockets and a white t shirt with tiny hot pink polka dots. She paired her outfit with some red converse. Khushi tied her hair up in a high chignon bun leaving some of her brunette streaks to fall out on her face. She applied her usual winged liner, some strawberry and kiwi flavored lip balm and dabbed on some pale pink blush which contoured her natural glow.
She grabbed on her backpack, threw in some bubblegum and got into her a red convertible and drove off to school.
As she drove, she looked around her scenery. She finally recognized the beauty of life when it is filled with Love. Yes, she was in love and head over heels in love and you know the best part? That special someone was in love with her too!
She parked her car in parking lot of MH and got out. As she walked towards the sleek glass doors of the school, she met Misha who smiled a broad grin. They both got talking while they walked into school.
"So someone seems very chirpy today morning? Something's making you happy? Or SOMEONE eh?" teased Misha, knowing fully well the reason for her closest friend's smile. Khushi blushed and was about to say something when she crashed into a hard chest. Her face still buried in his warm embrace, Khushi smiled knowingly, she didn't have to look up to know who it was, she could guess who it was even if they were miles apart. She threw her hands around his waist while he tucked his face in the crook of her neck. They stayed like that for what seemed like hours until they heard a loud throat clearing.
Arnav groaned in annoyance and pulled away reluctantly while Khushi blushed and buried herself even more into his chest to avoid the teasing coming from the other side.
"Guys, if you too are done with your cuddling can we please proceed to class?" teased a dramatic Jay. Khushi peeked out from a smiling Arnav's chest and smacked her best friend's arm and hugged herself to Arnav tightly. Arnav laughed and tightened his hold on his blushing munchkin and said "Okay enough with the teasing; only I'm allowed to do that! Now get lost please?" This obviously earned him a light slap from the little person in his arms right now while the others just burst out laughing.
Jay and Arnav had become the best of mates over these few months, Arnav and Khushi had hooked up Jay and Tanya (they were just meant to be together -_-) who had gotten shamelessly close to each other, seriously, those two literally came out of Karan Johar movie.
Misha had taken a liking to Kabir and they ended up being the best of friends who were currently in love with each, just clueless about it!
And of course, our very much loved up couple, Arnav and Khushi were victims of horrible teasing all the time. The two obviously didn't really care, except for the fact that our Munchkin was sporting permanent red faces 24/7; everything was going as smooth as fairytale. You would never find Arnav or Khushi without each other, which is why their mates came up with a theme song for them: "Oh Arnav I love you, Arnav I do, when we're apart, my heart beats only for you...!"(The song taken from Harry Potter, I changed the name from Viktor to Arnav) and Vice Versa.
These three months had been a dream come true for everybody in general. Arnav and Khushi were inseparable and completely in love, Jay had found his soul mate in the very bubbly Tanya and Misha and Kabir had found a confidant in each other.
You must be wondering where our evil witch is? As for Sheetal, two months ago, she had left for London abruptly leaving a much disoriented Khushi who was scared of the consequences which would take place. She still hadn't told Arnav the main part of the story and was scared of what would happen if he found out through someone else. As the quotes states: "Life is not always a bed of roses..."
"Mr. Raizada, would you mind looking at the board and not at Miss. Gupta's face?" asked the very jovial Mr. Kapoor during Biology.
The class burst out into heaps of uncontrolled giggles while poor Arnav Singh Raizada turned a shade of bold red. Khushi, who was sitting next to him, slid down in her chair and covered her face with her book while Jay just kept on biting his lip to stop the laughter. He took one good look at Arnav and burst out into fully fledged laughter all over again.
Mr. Kapoor looked at his wild bunch. This was his favorite batch of students. He didn't hide the fact instead embraced it with open arms. He knew these kids were destined for so much more. He took one good look at Arnav and Khushi and predicted right then that these two were a couple in love. They were undoubtedly struck by Cupids arrow but what he also noticed was that these two would have to overcome a lot of hurdles. He prayed for the two to emerge out of all the obstacles coming their way, he hoped that their love would be as strong as iron to face absolutely anything.
He cleared his husky throat and silenced the whole class with one look. For Pete's sake! He had been teaching the topic of Reproduction for the past 3 months now! This fish market of class just wouldn't let him finish the topic in peace! Kids these days, thought the very lackadaisical old man!
"So as I was saying, in recent decades, developmental biologists have been researching and developing techniques to facilitate same-sex reproduction..." Mr. Kapoor's sentence went unfinished because someone started singing:
"It's too big, it's too wide
It's too strong, it won't fit
It's too much, it's too tough
He talk like this 'cause he can back it up
He got a big ego, such a huge ego
I love his big ego, it's too much
He walk like this 'cause he can back it up"
The awkward silence was too much for any living organism to bear which resulted in the loud gurgles of laughter which embraced the silence. No one had expected this to go on. Mr. Kapoor rolled his eyes for the tenth time in an hour at the pathetic bunch of kids he had to teach Biology to.
Arnav and Khushi were in uncontrollable laughter. They were both clinging to each other to try and tune out the giggles but that obviously didn't work as Mr.Kapoor walked up to poor Benjamin Button while the whole class hushed up.
He looked longingly at the frustrated, hipster of a boy in front of him, fixed his 1890's spectacles, twisted his silver mustache and said "My boy, if you really do have a big 'ego', you would not have to listen to Beyonce!.."
Mr.Kapoor walked down to his table while he let his kids catch up to his one liner. By the time he walked out of class, everybody was in state of shock as they caught up on the double meaning of his words, very, very soon, poor Benjamin turned a shade of purple as everybody looked at him and burst out into laughter.
Mr.Kapoor heard the giggles and shook his head. If the kids thought they were smart, He was already one step ahead of them.
As soon as the bell rang, everybody started packing up while Arnav started talking to Jay. Khushi and Tanya had bonded pretty well and were now closer than ever, they had the same interests in music and movies and Tanya found her as a partner in crime!
When Arnav had finished his conversation with Jay and the other guys, he turned to Khushi only to see her deeply engrossed in a conversation with Tanya and Misha. He shook his head smiling and walked up to her and placed his arms around her from the back and smacked a kiss on her cheek.
Tanya and Misha groaned and rolled their eyes at the lovebirds and took it as a cue to get lost. They wanted to say goodbye to Khushi but decided against it as she was already too absorbed with Arnav.
Arnav held Khushi's hand and walked out to the parking lot and pushed her up against the door. She blushed and looked around to see if anybody was there. Arnav placed a kiss on her forehead and moved down to her nose and started his 'exploration' while Khushi looped her arms around his neck.
Arnav moved his head down to her lips and allowed his warm breath to caress her soft petal like lips. She scrunched up her face in annoyance and brought her lips against his and placed it effortlessly on it. Arnav chuckled at her irritation while he earned himself a smack on his chest. Khushi giggled and placed a few more teasing pecks on his lips in revenge.
Arnav had enough; he smirked mischievously and took her lips in a long awaited French kiss. He explored the deep corners of her sweet mouth while she moaned in delight and met with his kisses with equal fervor.
They were still on a full on make out session when they heard violent coughing in the background. Knowing only too well who I was, they continued kissing when they heard a couple of: "Get a room you two!"
Arnav laughed while still kissing her and pushed her inside the car, he reluctantly broke apart, strapped her up and walked over to the driver's seat, ignoring the teasing smiles he was getting from those idiotic bitches they call their best friends...
