To whomsoever it may concern,
I am an ardent fan of IPKKND from day 1. It is the best fiction that has happened ever on any channel.
But the recent rumours about the quitting of actors and now its abrupt ending is really very sad.
Star Tv Network should realise their responsibilities as they are on national network. Millions are watching
your channel. The way you people are handling things is improper.
The way you have been displaying that absurd message regarding its abrupt ending is not at all professional.
By blaming Mr. Barun Sobti directly, you are showing your insecurities. The future of Star Plus looks very bleak
if such a thing is carried on. By doing so you are directly sabotaging his carrier. He is being blamed for the downfall
bcz he chose bollywood over small screen carrier. But Mr. Sobti himself has stated in his numerous interviews that
right now he has no work in his hands. He wanted a break regarding his health issues. Fine we all have seen him in
some episodes looking very tired and drained out of energy. The show could have managed some parallel tracks in
his absence. Was their lack of ideas then we fans would have been more than happy to suggest a few. The show had
a wonderful side cast, who were not used to the potential. There were no time to time promos for the show.
Infact Star never promoted IPKKND as it has promoted its other shows by getting sometimes 2 promos in the same week.
Why be so much unfair to IPKKND?
You guys never blamed the PH, bcz it was they who ignited the fire by posting a msg on their forum saying the story
has run its course. Come on which PH does that and ruin their beautiful show. I am sure you are aware of that msg,
bcz the whole world has read it. If not then strengthen your general knowledge bcz this is your business. Had you paid
a little attention to the show then this would not have been the fate. It is sheer negligence on your part that all this has happened.
You are okay with 4Lions bcz you are collaborated with other show of theirs. No hard feelings for that.
If 4Lions dint want to continue then you could have given the show to some other PH.
But the damage has already been done. Please show some respect to the man who has put in so much of hard work
and has brought not only national but international recognition. I am very sure you knew that your SPL-2012 London
would not be a success if it was not for Barun and Sanaya. Majority of the crowd was there only for the two of them.
This has been going around for a month now. You were tight lipped till SPL-2012. And the very next day you drop a
bomb regarding its ending. As if this was't enough you blamed the man himself which is so just not right. If you believe
that the show would not run further if Mr. Sobti quits then I think you also sternly believe that he was the heart of the show.
The show is a success bcz of the chemistry between the lead actors playing the protagonists.
Recently if I am not wrong 3 of your shows have ended in a span of a month or so. My question to you is
"Why dint you give the reasons for their end..?" If next time you want to pull-off a show for its low TRP then kindly display
that msg as well. Be fair and square to all your shows.
Was the reason you gave regarding IPKKND really needed to be displayed..? I know Star was under tremendous pressure
following the Fandom outrage, but Being a professional you could have said we are ending the show for some unavoidable
reasons or under some unavoidable circumstances. That would have been of much help for Star reputation as well.
All good things do come to end, and so IPKKND had to too. But a proper end is required bcz it deserves one. Hope you dont
disappoint at that atleast.
By showing your insecurities you have made a fool of yourself. And by giving a silent treatment Mr. Sobti has proved his intelligence.
Last but not the least..
P.S.: An apology is required not only for Mr. Barun Sobti but the fans as well
who are also being blamed, bcz we deserve it since we have honestly invested
a year and half in this beautiful journey called
"ISS PYAAR KO KYA NAAM DOON?" and we don't regret it.
