Chapter 4: first step towards love

Rey was in corridor and smiling widely as he had a plan that would help him identify his angel…

After hour b4 wedding.. in hall ( ok I know this part of plan is lame but nothing else poped in ma mind)

Rey is watching boyz and girls(taani s still getting ready) arguing about something… and smiling as his plan is working…

Rey(patting his self on his back):*himself* grt job reyaansh ….boys ko provork karna kitna aasan tha…ab to bus results ka wait hai ..

Neelam: acha!!!!!

Deekshit:haan!aur nhi to kya..tum ladkiyo ko joothr churne and rone ke siwa kuch nhi ata..cry babies…

Sanjana: joothe khoye is liye aese bol rhe ho…….ek jhoota to sambhala nhi jata and hume bata rhe hai…..

Rudra:wo to hume tuhe de diye taki tum lo ro nhi..wais bhi tum ladkiyo ko rone k siwa kya ata hai?

Neelam:hum wo sab kar saqte hai jo tum kar sate ho … samhje …..and jo tum

Deekshit:acha to fir….challenge kar rhi ho?

Girls:haan .

boys :ok to hum bhi challenge accept karte hai…to fir …before boys can say any thing Rey interrupts

Rey:how about a dance competition?agar tum ladkiya humre jitna acha dance karo to hum tumhe maanenge…

Girls to whispering each other ..kya rey jitna acha hum national champ ko tajkar kaise d saqte hai?? Kya kare?taani hi humari ek lauti hope hai but kya wo rey ko takar d payegi??

Deekshit:kyun kya hua?hawwa nikal gayi?

Girls:nhi hum tayaar hai (confidently)…(they are tensed deep down) taani pe hi sab tika hai..

Rey:ok to hum logo ke pass aur 1 hr hai so pehle boys perform karenge fir tumlog(he observe and identify his angel if this fails thn plan B)..and last mai dono mil ke perform karenge..(plan b)…

Girls :ok sone..

Rey(smirking) :*himself* sab plan ke mutabit hi ho rha hai….ab dekhta hu mere angel kitni der mujhse dor rhegi….

After few mins…Rey and boys(standing behind him) in center of hall ..leena and rakshit are sitting on chairs on stage …(taani still getting ready) music begins to play.. song is nagada (jab we met) rey & boys starts doing bhanghra style

Ho oye hye oye ,Rang puredi rang rangili,Ladki chail chapili,Usde chan chal nain kadaa hatiyar , Uske roop se katal huye tho Charcha shuro hua..

(All the girls are staring rey dreamingly and picturising them self with rey…)

Hai hai hai………Jab bhi woh ladki, kidki pe aaye,Koi usko dhek mare, Koi bin dheke mar jaye(taani smiles as she watches rey dance from corridor frm 1^st floor , guys who are not dancing wn luk at taani their eyes are fixed on her and are spell bound)

Aare guzre gali mohalle se,Tho mela sa lag jatha tha,har ek aashiq id manata ,bhangda gatha tha katam na hota deewano ke,Jalse shuro hua(taani walking down the stairs(rey is facing stage while dancing…stairs and stage are in opp diection) .. guys bump into each other while walking)

Aare bachpan se uska,Ek deewana tha
Jiska kaam gali ke aashiq pare hatana tha,Dil se jisko maan raha tha, Apne dil ki rani woh (rey smiles dreamingly while dancing n thinking about his angel and imagining her dance with him)
Aur kisi pe hi yaaro marti thi marjani who,Ek kahani khatam tho duja kissa shuro hua(taani tucks lock of her hair behind her ears while luking at rey and smiiles(unknowingly)..while boyz continue to gaze her p.s don't forget girls are getting jealous and making faces as she has almost all the boy s attention) & (rey snaps out of his thoughts)

Uske roop se katal huye tho,Charcha shuro hua(boys(who had not see her yet) spill and spat juice when they see her as she walks across hall,two waiters bump into each other staring at taani..she smiles and shakes her head .. while walking..)(p.s still taani is walking behind rey)

Dance was over…every one applauded loudly….girls could not help themselves from admiring rey….he danced so well…..

Rakshit(to leena): dekha mere bhai ko ? kaise ladkiyo ke hosh uda diya…akhir bhai kiska hai hosh to udana hi tha…

Leena:acha? Rey to acha dance karta hi hai but taani bhi kisi se kaam nhi…and smiles...

Rey and boys (near stage)are laughing by seeing girls expression ..when suddenly lights go off….every one are confused ecept leena..she s smiling…suddenly they see a spot light on a girl (head,face coverd with dupatta)who is facing stairs.then music begins to playon bahara song(i hate luv stories).she starts doing bollywood style dance

Hoo Tora Saajan Aayo Tore Desh,Badli Badra Badla Saavan,Badla Jag Ne Bhes Re,Tora Saajan ,Aayo Tore DeshSoyi Soyi Palkon Pe Chal Ke,Meri Sapno Ki Khidki Pe Aa Gaya(she is moving her hands in rythm more or less like thumke, all eyes are fixed on her rey trying to have a luk at her face..then lights are turned on)

Aate Jaate Phir Mere Dil Ke,,Inn Haathon Mein Woh Khat Pakda Gaya Pyaar Ka(she removes her duptata from her face and take spins with dupatta and throws it in air which will fall on none other then our hero rey & continues with dancing gracefully )

Lafzon Mein Rang Hai Pyaar Ka Bahara Bahara Hua Dil Pehli Baar Vee (rey slowly removes the dupatta from his face his heart starts beating heardly as he see her in beautiful yellow ghaghra and red short sleveless choli,her dupatta was perfectly set on her neck how pretty she looked he thought, how perfectly her ghara fitted her slim and slender body, he see her face he thinks how beautiful she is just like some angel,she had brown doe shaped eyes which were as deep as a sea he felt like he could drown in her eyes, her lips were full and luscious ..her smile was magical and mesmerizing.. he could not help himself from smiling when he saw her nose twitch while she danced ..foer him everything about her was appealing …he knew in his heart dt she is only his angel..rey :*to himself* kya yeh wahi hai?kya yeh wahi hai? Yahi meri angel hai…)

Badla Jag Ne Bhes Re,Tora Saajan ,Aayo Tore Desh(then rey sees her anklet when her ghagra is lifted slightly above ankle as she does a step..)

Woh Kabhi Dikhe Zameen Pe,Kabhi Woh Chaand Pe, Yeh Nazar Kahe Use Yahan ,Main Rakh Loon Baandh Ke Ek Saans Mein.Dhadkano Ke Paas Mein ..Haan Paas Mein Ghar Banaye,Haye Bhoole Yeh Jahan(he is drawn towards her…dreamingly and unknowingly he starts to walk towards her slowly…)

Bahara Bahara ,Hua Dil Pehli Pehli Baar Vee(taani goes near leena and rakshit and pulls then to dance they and almost ever one has started to dance)

Preet Mein Tori Ore Sawariya,Payal Jaise Chanke Bijuriya,Cham Cham Naache Tan Pe Badariya Hoo O O OoO,Baadaliya Tu Barse Ganaho,Barse Ganaho.Barse Ganaho..,Barse Ganaho...(rey is walking towards her but there are many obstracles i.e people dancing and pulling him into dance )

Jo Yeh Badaliyan ,Woh Ched De ,To Chalke Baarishein,Woh De Aahatein
Kareeb Se ,(rey is near taani and walking towards her he can see only her..i.e few inches apart)

To Bole Khwaishein Ke Aaj Kal, Zindagi Har Ek Pal,Har Ek Pal Se Chahe .Haye Jiska Dil Hua…(while she is dancing she bumps into rey..is about to fall when rey holds her and pulls her close and locks her into his arms as though he ll never let her go..…every 1 r busy dancing to notice them)

Bahara Bahara ,Hua Dil Pehli Baar Vee,Bahara Bahara ,Ki Chain To Hua Faraar Vee, Bahara Bahara ,Hua Dil Pehli Pehli Baar Vee(rey and taani are looking into each other s eyes forgetting about everything else..rey could see pain som where deep down in her eyes..he could feel that behind such lovely smile she is hiding pain…..and he wondered what could cause her so much of pain….taani is lost into rey s eyes she feels that she can trust him,she feels comfortable in his arms,they could hear and feel each other s heart beat…taani found sound of his heartbeat soothing)

Soyi Soyi Palkon Pe Chal Ke,Meri Sapno Ki Khidki Pe Aa Gaya
Aate Jaate Phir Mere Dil Ke,,Inn Haathon Mein Woh Khat Pakda Gaya
,Pyaar Ka,Lafzon Mein Rang Hai Pyaar Ka(taani is back to her senses when someone bumps into her….but rey is still lost in her eyes ,she tries to break free from his lock but he tightens his grip on her..after some min he loosens his grip she starts to move away from him )

Tora Saajan ,Aayo Tore Desh(taani turns to move away from rey but rey hols her wrist and pulls her back to him and tucks her a lock of hair behind her ear….again they both are lost in each other s eyes nobody sees this except leena who is smiling and thinks taani after all there is place for love in your life..)

Before any one else sees she goes towards them and coughs loudly….taani and rey are back to their senses..and rey releases her and both are embarrassed

both give an awkward smile to each other and the song ends..both move away..

Rey:*to himself*slapping his fore head yeh mai kya kar rha tha???usko kitna ajeeb laga hoga..…ek anjaan ladka usko apne pass chipkaye hua tha…mujhe control karna padega..nhi to dosti kaise karunga use?baat karni hogu use …sorry bolna hoga

Taani:*herself* hey Krishna ji fir se mujhe kya hogya tha??? Mai unke pass itna comfortable kaise feel kar rhi thi? And wo mere bare mai kya soch rhe hoge??ki kaisi ladki hai anjan ladke k saat chipak jati hai?mujhe unse baat karni hogi …

After some time…both are searching for each other and see each other near corridor…….

Rey and taani at same time :suniye!!both stop then both:mujhe aap se baat karna hai!! Both smile at each other then again:wo main….stop again…then at same time they say:pehle app!! Both burst into laughters..

Rey:aap pehle bolye…

Taani:nahi nahi app..

Rey:dekhye ladies first..

Taani(doesnot know how to tell him):ok..wo…wo mai.. mai..aap se maphi mangna chati thi,rey is shocked…wo dance ke tym mai wo(embarrassed)….sorry mere koi aesa irada nhi thi..hopefully ap samh rhe hai mai kya bol rhi hu..

Rey (smiles):haan mai samhj rha hu.. mai bhi aap se is bare mai baat karna cahta tha(taani shocked) wo mai bhi aap se maphi mangna cahta tha…jo hua uske liye.. mera bhi intension aesa nhi tha….i m sorry..so no hard feelins?

Taani(smiles): nhi no hard feelings.. humdono ki galti thi ..chaliye is baat ko bhul jate hai… and aap bahut acha nachte ho..

Rey(smiling & blushing):thanx pls aap mat bolo …u can call me tum…waise aap bhi acha nachte ho…

Taani:acha mai aap ko aap nhi tum bolungi ..par agar tumne mujhe tum bola to…(rey :ok tum… & both starts laughing)

Then they get call from boys and girls respectively..they pick up the phone…after ending up the call.they turn to each other and smirk and say..all the best & shakes hand..and they leave..

Rey is so damn happy he kisses his hands (as taani had shked hands with him) he feels like he is on top of the world…jumping up and down…screaming his guts out to tell the world the he found her…he feels that it is the most happiest day in his life..at last maine tumhe dundh hi liya..fish!! maine to uska naam hi nhi pucha!!koi nhi mai dance k bad puch lunga..

Taani is also happy but doesnot know why…then she thinks lagta hai ladkiyo ke saat rehne ka asar hai and shkes her head….

After some time both boys and girls group are ready to perform…they dance on avain avain lut gaya song(band baja barat) rey starts with the dance ……..they have fun dancing on that song…everyone is applauding…Its concluded that both can dance well…before taani or rey could talk to each other…leena signals taani to come over stage…and rakshit singnals rey to do the same…

First taani reaches the stage..

Leena:Tans tumne aaj to kaamal kar diya rey ko takar diya kya nachi ho….and tum aj bahut sundhar dikh rhi ho bilkul ek pari jaise..

Rakshit:ya taani tum ne to sab ke hash uda diye..apne luks and dance se (smirks) leena throws him a dirty look

Taani smiles & hugs leena and rakshit and says thnx guys..

Then rey cums on stage unaware that taani is there on stage..

Rakshit:rey !!mere bhai …bahut acha nache ho aj tune mera sir garv see upar kar diya…(hugging him) rey:thnx bhai..

Leena:ya rey u did a awesm job….

Rey:thanx leena bhabi.. when he see s taani both smile at each other she gets back to leena & rey is lost as she is talking to leena..he s staring at her only…then rakshit shakes him out of his thoughts….

Rakshit: so tum taani se mil chuke ho…Rey is shoked:yeh taani hai???*himself* meri angel ka naam taani hai?? And mujhe and mere angel ko couple dance karna tha…?? And maine bhai ko mana kar diya??chance miss kar diya..kitna badha bewakuf hu ab kya karu??

Leena:haan yahi taani hai…

Rakshit:haan taani yaad aya wo tumhe and rey ko jo couple dance karna tha romantic number pe….

Taani:haan..

Rakshit:wo Re….Rey intrupts Rey:uska hum rehersals kal se start karenge and waise hi sochenge ki konsa song pe and konsa dance form karna hai…. Rakshit is shocked!!

Taani:haan sure kal subhe 7 baje jiju ke gahr pe ?..Rey(dreamingly):haann…

Taani:ab mujhe jana cahiye…thoda arrangements dekhna hai….

Rey:mujhe bhi chalna cahiye…rakshit holds his wrist and pulls him back ..and says abhi nahi..mujhe tumse baat karna hai ruk…

Taani is walking down the stage when leena calls her..

Leena:arey tans! Teri aur ek payal kaha hai??

Taani lifts her ghagra & sees that one payal is missingshe s worried. And says:hey Krishna ji… payal kaha gayi..kaha gum gayi dhundna hoga…and starts to search for her anklet(she is still not aware that she has lost her anklet)

Rey listens to her and smirks and thinks…hayee !kitni cute lagti hai meri angel jab pareshan hoti hai…mai hu na tumhari payal dundh k dene ko to chinta kyun karti ho? Rey is about to leave rakshit stops him..

Rey:kya hua bhai??

Rakshit:tujhe kya hua hai??parso to tum bol rhe the ki tume kisi ladki k saat nhi nachna cahiye wo kitni kyun na hot ho?badi badi baate kar rhe the..ab kya hua?

Rey:*ab kya bolu bhai ko?* in senti mode :bhai mujhe bura laga ki aap ne mujhse pelli baar kuch maanga and maine aap ko mana kar diya…mai aap ko dukhi kaise kar saqta hu wo bhi apke shadi ke tym??mai itna pattar dil to nhi meri uneasyness ki wajhe se aap ko dukh du….and makes puppy face

Rakshit:saach mai? Mujhe to yakin hi nhi ho rha…Leena:awww!!!jaanu jane bhi do ..bechara kitni sachyi se bol rha hai..

Rakshit:tum is ko nhi janti …Leena:tum chup rho rey tum jao…tumhara bhaiya kabhi nhi sudrega (rey smirks and goes to search taani)

Taani is near one room :*kahi yaha to nhi gira* the she enters the room…and starts searching for her anklet…she hears a voice from behind :kahi isko to dundh nhi rahi? She turns back and see s rey smiling & is leaning against the wall folding arms and one leg…then he removes taani s payal from his sherwani's pocket… she s face lights up ….she runs towards him and says :aapko yeh kaha se mili? Rey:bas milgayi

Taani:thanks payal dundh ne ko puts her hands fords and says ab deejiye!!

Rey(naughtily): itni bechaini??hmmm ab jab maine itni mushkil se tumhari payal dundh hi di hai to….

Taani:toh? eyeing him suspiciously..

Rey(In husky voice):can I have the honour? He was kneeling down on his right leg.. with anklet in his right hand (as though proposing her) and looking straight into her eyes..

Both were lost in each other s eyes for some time…

Then finally taani spoke up..

Taani(haughtly):mujhe kudh se payaal pehna ata h…

Rey(still in kneeled postion):in mischievous tone ..dekh lo….ek pyaal ka kya karogi tum.? And gives a mischievous & naughty smile…taani s heart almost skips a heart beat at this..

Both are looking at each other with great intensity..then taani slowly lifts her left leg and places it over rey s kneeled right leg not breaking the eye contact……and bends slightly towards rey and gives him a smile…Rey is lost in her eyes and smile….taani lefts her ghagra upto ankle…and..
