ArHi OS: A Honeymoon Special

"Hain Devi Maiyya, Mujhe Bachalo. Please make sure this plane lands safely. I want to be alive. I've really always wanted to see Switzerland. Hari Om Hari Om" Khushi muttered to herself furiously, her hands clasped in prayer, her eyes tightly shut, concentrating all her attentions on the higher powers above.

Arnav quirked an eyebrow as he watched his wife. Correction: his crazy wife. "Khushi, did we not go through this the first time around? As the flight took off? Or do you have short term memory that you forgot everything so soon?" Arnav asked, reaching out to shake his wife out of her reverie, drawing her out from her furious chanting.

She glared at him for interrupting her prayers, before looking up to the sky, well actually, more like the top of the airplane. "Oh God, please Devi maiyya, please forgive this stupid man next to me. Why did I ever marry him? He doesn't seem to really understand that it never hurts hurts to pray too much." And then, she turned to her darling husband. "So Arnavji, what were you saying? Me? Having short term memory loss? Pssht. You wish. And that's a royal joke coming from you ' Mr. I forget birthdays, anniversaries, dates and everything in the world except business meetings LIKE IT"S MY JOB! Arnav, you would find a great way to annoy me before we even get to our honeymoon!"

He raised his hands in surrender, no point in reminding her that the only thing he'd ever seriously forgotten was the 1 WEEK ANNIVERSARY! Did normal people even celebrate those things anymore? Actually, no one ever probably celebrated that event. Besides, everyone in the airplane, well in first class, was already looking at them wide-eyed, convinced that this couple was better suited to a mental asylum (Arnav could read their eyes), and he simply didn't need to draw any more attention towards themselves.

"Fine woman, whatever you say. You keep praying to your Devi Maiyya, and I'll actually walk out of the plane ' considering we have landed."

And he was rewarded with a pillow hitting him square in the face.

***

About forty five minutes later, after many many many more arguments near the baggage claim, Khushi's suggestion to the airhostess that they serve jalebis as desserts, and more attention from everyone around them than probably the President had ever received, Khushi and Arnav Singh Raizada finally found themselves taking a taxi and heading to the hotel which Angad and Kripa had booked for their two week stay.

Khushi was literally bouncing up and down her seat with excitement as they drove through the mountains, all her anger and annoyance with her husband quickly forgotten as she took in the beautiful sights surrounding her, "Oh my God! I've always dreamed of coming to Switzerland, seeing the Alps, honeymooning here!" she whispered to herself. "Everything is so absolutely perfect" her voice trembled as she looked out the window in awe. Her quick glance at her husband was enough to sour her mood though, "Everything is perfect except for one tiny thing ' the husband aspect. Yes, everything except the man I was supposed to be drowning in romance with."

"Well darling, if romance is the only thing you want right now, then why not? I can be romantic in a taxi as well" Arnav responded quickly, picking up her hand which was resting it on the seat and bringing it up to his lips to place a soft, lingering kiss on the back of her hand. She tried to pull away quickly, but he held on, winking at her and refusing to let her move to the farthest corner of the taxi. He slid his free arms around her waist and pulled her back and closer towards him, really close towards him. She struggled to get out of his grasp, "Arnav'let go'." She hissed, trying to pull his arm away as she threw panicky glances at the taxi driver.

"But you wanted the romance, right? The perfect man to your perfect story? And that's exactly what I'm doing. See, look at all that snow out there" he continued, pointing out of the window to the snow covered grass all around them. "Doesn't that make you feel like putting on a sari, stepping outside and bursting out in a romantic song with me dancing alongside of you?"

And then he did the last thing she expected him to do ' the last thing that anyone would expect Arnav Singh Raizada to do.

He broke out into song, right there, in the taxi.

"Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam'.Pyaar hota hain diwana sanam'..Ab yahan se kahan jaaye hum''.Teri baahon mein mar jaye hum '"

Khushi started giggling immediately, as she hurriedly covered her ears with her hands. "Arreh, please save my ears. Your off key singing will have people running away from us! And besides, who would sing that song out here in this weather? It's only meant to be sung as we run towards each other in sunflower fields in India'" she smiled dreamily, her thoughts distracted very quickly.

"Oh'well. My bad madamji. I didn't know. Next time, rather than a honeymoon in Switzerland, we'll head out to a vacation in Punjab, and sing this song'theek hain? Now what should I sing here? What would be appropriate here?" he continued, a chuckle escaping his mouth, as Khushi moved closer, and snuggled into his arms, resting her head comfortably against his chest, a sweet smile playing on her lips.

"Hm my dear patidev, I think it would be more romantic if we were to sit in silence'" she whispered, lifting her head up to drop a quick kiss on his cheek before returning to her comfortable place.

***

Khushi watched as Arnav walked towards the front desk to check them in, her mind quickly racing to the past. She couldn't believe that the two of them had actually gotten married!

The two of them who had been sworn enemies as they grew up. Khushi had been, and well still was, best friends with Arnav's younger sister, Anjali, and Arnav had spent his teenage years trying to avoid the two crazy little terrors. When that animosity had gone away, neither of them really knew, but what they did know was that when their parents had suggested an alliance between the two of them, a good way to turn the friendship between the families into an actual relationship, neither of them had adamantly opposed the idea.

Hence, the couple was allowed to date for a bit, and Arnav, not having really known Khushi, had made quite a few mistakes in the beginning of their relationship about 6 months ago, but everything had worked out in the end. They had developed a comfortable relationship between the two of them, the slow, tentative kisses in the beginning turning into passionate, explosive encounters over time, the awkward silences into comfortable ones. The two had found peace being with each other, so a few months later, when the families had asked them of their opinion once again, asked them whether they were ready to set a wedding date, the couple had given them the green signal. They were ready to get married.

And before they knew it, they were thrown into the wedding preparations ' well Khushi was thrown into wedding preparations, taking a break of 2 months from her job in order to keep up with all the madness the mothers had planned for them. Arnav had avoided these two months and the family dinners and lunches and get togethers and shopping trips studiously, always having important client meetings, photography sessions and whatnot. He had outrightedly refused to involve the company in the designing of the clothes for anyone for the wedding. And Khushi had been stuck.

And in all honesty, now that she had thought about it, she didn't even remember the details of what had happened during the wedding. Nothing. Not the color of the roses, or the napkins, or the font that was on the placecards at the tables. She remembered stepping into the mandap hall, dressed in all the wedding finery, and looking up to see Arnav standing there, waiting for her to arrive, his eyes somber and serious yet filled with warmth, filled with the anticipation, the nervousness, the anxiousness that was affecting her as well. When her hand had been placed into his, her racing heart had slowed down, a sense of reassurance, strength comforting her and calming her down. And she had known that his presence, his being, was all she ever really needed.

And when he had filled her maang with sindoor, when he had tied the mangal sutra around her neck, she had reveled in the knowledge that she had finally become his wife, Arnav Singh Raizada's wife, just as he had become her husband, and her's alone.

Khushi's thoughts were interrupted by a series of giggles, and the deep baritone of her husband's voice. Hm.

"Excuse me, I came to check in here. Arnav Singh Raizada. I believe my friends have made reservations here under my name?" Arnav said to the woman standing at the receptionist desk.

She looked up at him, a slow feral smile creeping up on her lips, "Welcome to the Carlton sir. It'll be a pleasure to have you here. I'm Brigitte" she smiled, her eyelashes fluttered furiously.

"Well Brigitte, very nice name you have there" Arnav smiled back, amusement evident on his face, before he added, "And it would be great if you could direct me to my room."

"Just a few minutes sir. Our computers are being worked on so it will be just a few seconds before the page loads properly. But if I may ask, is this a business oriented visit or a personal one, sir?"

Arnav quirked an eyebrow up, small talk was a pain. He just wanted to get his key and head up to his room with his wife, but of course something had to go wrong. "I guess you could say pleasure. I want to get some sightseeing done and the like-"

He was interrupted by her cheery, overly bright voice, "Puurrrfect. I know the best places to visit around here" she answered, throwing him another round of the fluttering eyelashes, this time adding in a wink, and he resisted the urge to roll his eyes this time around.

"Ahh. Then I'll be sure to ask you what to check out around here"

"You're too funny" the receptionist broke out into a fit of giggles, gently placing her hand on Arnav's arm which was resting on the counter.

***

Meanwhile, smoke was now steaming out of Khushi's ears as she watched the receptionist flirt outrageously with her husband. And it seemed like he was encouraging her! The idiot, the jerkface. She had just been thinking about how lucky she was to have married him but he had to go prove her wrong very quickly. Growling, the green monster quickly replacing the normal Khushi, she marched up to where Arnav was standing, and yanked his hand off of the counter, surprising both him and the receptionist immensely.

"Arnav, sweetie, when are we going to head up to our room?" she smiled, the overly sweet smile, dripping with sarcasm, already sending warning bells ringing in Arnav's head.

But before he could answer, the receptionist spoke.

"Ahh'you're with him?" she asked, her voice growing stonily cold.

"Of course I'm with him. He's my husband and we're on our honeymoon" Khushi flashed a huge grin at her this time, as she tucked her hand in Arnav's and stood on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek, "Who else would I possibly be with?"

Arnav looked at his wife, who seemed to be behaving very strangely, even for her, with the public display of affection, and muttered softly, "if you were with anyone else my dear wife, I would probably kill you"

Khushi shot him a murderous glare, and the receptionist didn't seem to hear Arnav's words, as she continued to stand there, a sour smile on her lips, before Khushi took charge again, "Now, why is taking so long for my husband and me to get our room? Arnav and Khushi Singh Raizada. Can you please get those names?" she questioned, spelling out their names for the receptionist.

A minute later, the receptionist had the details of their room in front of her.

"Right here you go. You both are booked for a two week stay in the honeymoon suite, the most expensive one if I may add" she flashed them a smile, of course, with the bitterness still lining her voice.

And she handed them the key, before wishing them an oh so wonderful stay at the Carlton.

As soon as they were in the elevator after picking up their luggage, Khushi finally let go of the ironlike grip she had had on his hand. She had held on pretty damn tightly all the time they were in the lobby, in fact kissing her two more times from the receptionist's desk.

"Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada" she began angrily. "Let me take the time now to remind you that you are a married man, meaning you do not flirt with anyone nor do you encourage any flirting. Not the DAY after you are married! You tell them you have a wife. Is that clear enough?" she asked him, grabbing his shirt by the collar threateningly.

Arnav was about to protest when the elevator came to a sudden stop, and the doors opened to an old couple waiting right outside. Khushi immediately let go of her husband and stepped out, heading to their room without sparing him another glance.

***

The door clicked, and Khushi pushed it open, wheeling a bag inside as Arnav followed her silently. They dropped off their stuff in the entrance, and continued inside after turning the lights on.

There were flowers everywhere, red roses to be specific. Champagne was places on the middle of the bed, with the two champagne flutes of course. And chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate from Switzerland's finest.

And that was when she finally turned to look at her husband, who was already staring at her, the original twinkle in his eyes now ignited into a passion, his dark eyes smoldering as he stepped towards her. Khushi backed away slowly, until she felt herself hit a wall, and from the smirk playing on her husband's face as he advanced towards her, she knew she was in trouble. Arnav trapped her, his hands on either side of her on the wall, as he pressed himself into her. A part of Khushi's mind kept reminding her to be mad at him, but her hands seemed to have a mind of their own as she reached up and pulled his head down towards her, her eyes closing in anticipation as she waited for the first touch of his lips against her own.

But it never came.

Instead, they heard the room phone ring. Her eyes shot open, and she blushed furiously, pushing him away as she hurried to her bag, and Arnav was left to go and answer the phone.

"Hello?" he asked quietly, his voice clearly showing hi annoyance at having been disrupted already. His eyes followed Khushi as she moved about the room, unpacking her suitcase and pulling a few things out before she stepped into the bathroom, not bothering to spare him a glance.

"Arnav? Arnav Bhai! ASR?" he heard a series of voices yell out at him as soon as he said the one word.

"Wow guys. That was quick. It's barely been five minutes since we've made our entrance into this hotel room, and you guys have already started?"

"Well, of course, how could we not? Arnav, we're your best friends remember? How's that honeymoon dude?" Armaan Mallik asked, grabbing the phone out of Angad's hand.

"If you guys would let me actually enjoy my honeymoon, then I would have a response to give you, now wouldn't I? But this room? Seriously? There's flowers and chocolate and wine and…"

Armaan didn't actually seem to be listening though, as he continued his questioning. "Arnav! Did they give you that edible chocolate body paint? I could have sworn that I added it into the honeymoon package as a last minute thing. Go check around your room, Edible Chocolate Body Paint. You were supposed to enjoy it" Armaan whispered conspiratorially, but his voice initially filled with anger. The hotel was ripping off his friends for sure!

Maan's eyes widened in shock as he heard Armaan's words, and he groaned. Holy crap. What had he done to deserve friends like this?

"Armaan, my dear beloved best friend. Please tell me you're lying. Edible freaking body paint? Are you nuts? Go buy all that crap for your own honeymoon, not for mine you idiot! Holy crap. I have to find that before Khushi does. Lord only knows that she's already mad at me for flirting with the receptionist-"

"Dude, you flirted with the receptionist? What the hell?" Angad interrupted this time, "Yeah, you're in deep shit dude"

"I would never flirt! It's Khushi and her crazy imagination. I was just talking to the woman-"

"Yeah, but it's like the most obvious rule out there. Women can be suspicious creatures, and hyperactive ones like Khushi and Kripa love to make mountains out of molehills and"

"Was there some kind Married Men initiation guidebook that got lost in the mail? Khushi never cared before we were married. But she just…" a confused and aggravated Arnav vented to his married best friend. He had never thought he would need advice from them already about being married.

"Just talk to her man, seriously. Khushi will understand. Or if you're that afraid, just go and hide the bodypaint before she finds it"

"I could kill you guys..who does all this for a honeymoon? Any more crazy surprises left to spring on me?"

"You are honeymooning Arnav, remember? You got married about two whole days ago? And people generally have wine and chocolate and flowers on their honeymoon. If you want more details on what people actually do, I can you know email you some links. Just let me know if you haven't had any experience" teased Angad in response, and Arnav heard an eruption of laughs from Armaan in the background and sighed.

"I know what people do on their honeymoon. My point was I didn't want all of this-"

"It all makes the honeymoon better. I promise. Just ask Kripa" Angad continued, not letting Arnav finish. Arnav heard Kripa's and Riddhima's voices in the background seconds before Kripa grabbed the phone from her husband, and shoved everyone else aside.

"Arnav, we'll stop being a nuisance. Enjoy the honeymoon, it'll be fine. Don't argue with your beautiful wife, and don't get her mad." Too late. "She has a surprise for you tonight, which I'm sure you're going to absolutely love. And. Enjoy Switzerland. We'll see you when you get back! Tell Khushi I said hi!" And before he could get another word in, she hung up the phone.

Arnav groaned. He was definitely screwed. He had to find that damn edible body paint before Khushi came out of the bathroom. Who even knew that kind of stuff existed? Kripa and Angad? Ew. He didn't want to think about it.

And his wife was planning on giving him a surprise? Good lord. She was definitely going to pull a knife out, he could sense it with how angry she seemed to be. Headlines in the papers would be "Wife Kills Husband on Honeymoon" Holy Shit.

As he began to search the dressers and cupboards for any trace of the body paint, all these crazy thoughts ran through his mind. He saw a wicker basket in the corner, and what seemed to be a bunch more goodies in there! Aha! More hotel given stuff. He rushed over there, but just before he began to rummage through the basket, when he heard light, tentative footsteps across the padded carpet. He turned around quickly, and nearly dropped the basket that he was holding in his hand, his jaw dropping instead at the sight of his stunning wife.

Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada was now standing before him, not daring to look up into his eyes, as she flushed a dark red, dressed in a short sexy piece of lingerie, a strapless little number that barely hit her thighs, and well showed more than it actually covered.

She slowly lifted her eyes to look up at him, as his breath hitched in his throat. When he held out his hand, Khushi walked towards him as if in a daze, her eyes locked with his, and before either of them knew it, he had pulled her into his arms and fitted his lips right over hers. She closed her eyes in response and pressed herself closer, running her hands along his broad shoulders before allowing them to completely slip around him, envelope him as she pulled him closer towards herself.

What seemed to be ages later, he slowly pulled away, breathless, and looked down to see deep pools of brown staring back at him, holding his gaze, intense with desire as she slowly parted her lips, trembling with desire.

"Khushi" he whispered hoarsely, "Khushi you're so beautiful. So damned beautiful. And you're all mine" he trailed off, his finger slowly moving along her lower lips, as a shudder ran down her back. He reached down and swung her into his arms, before turning around and laying her on the bed, sliding in beside her.

But to her surprise, he merely took her in his arms and held her, forcing her to look up at him. "Khushi, my love, you're not mad anymore right? I wasn't flirting with anyone before. I don't think I can even think of anyone when I have such a beautiful wife here to occupy all of my time" he smiled gently, and Khushi hugged him tightly.

"And that's the way it should be Mr. Raziada. So can we get on with this honeymoon? I have something to show you soon?" she winked impishly, her eyes twinkling, and Arnav couldn't resist anymore. His hands reached out to the little clothing she had on her, ready to peel it all away, and she hurriedly undid his buttons, her body aching with desire and ready to be taken, to be made his.

And of course, the phone rang again. Arnav reached over to pick up the phone, already muttering curses at whoever was on the other line as Khushi giggled watching her frustrated husband. "Hello?" he snapped, annoyed at being disturbed. "It's already 12:30 in the morning. Couldn't this have waited?"

"Woah there Mr. Angry Man. Calm down. I had news for you which I thought would make you happy" answered back the ever so familiar voice of Armaan, a cheery Armaan.

Arnav literally growled, ferociously, "Good news? That needs to be delivered now? I am on my honeymoon. With my wife."

"Well I just wanted to tell you that the order for the Edible Body paint hadn't gone through so you needn't search for it or worry about your wife's reaction. But whatever, I'm hanging up now" and with that, he slammed the phone shut, and Arnav just lay in bed, gritting his teeth.

"Um what happened Arnav?" A quiet Khushi asked him, tracing circles along her husband's bare chest, and dropping kisses along the way.

"Edible body paint my foot" he muttered in response, "Those idiots thought that we would enjoy something like that on our honeymoon" he rolled his eyes, as he pulled his wife closer into his arms. He just needed to forget about his friends, and concentrate on his sexy wife that was in his arms. Not that that was difficult as he leaned forward to kiss her, his body already eager for more.

"You mean…you mean you wouldn't like edible chocolate body paint? I thought it would add a special touch" Khushi said huskily, as she reached out underneath her pillow and pulled something out….

And Arnav's jaw dropped in surprise, a laugh escaping his throat, as he drew his wife closer to himself, and flung the object in her hands to the side, "I think we'll save those experiments till later my love. I think we're perfectly fine for now without anything else" he muttered before molding his body into hers, and capturing her lips, finally succumbing to their desires and transporting themselves into another world as they expressed their love for each other.

Without any interruptions this time.

I have never read FFs on any one except Arnav and Khushi. Probably because I have never watched a show as zealously as IPK. So...

Anyways, coming to the story why did you call it plotless???

It was so cute.

Arnav's and Khushi's love for each other was pouring forth.

Arnav's irritation at Khushi's antics. Her jealousy. Their fight. Then making out. His frustration and her amusement at being interrupted. San kinna sona tha.

In case you feel like writing such out of the blue OSes I would like to see their engagement period. You could explore so much and I will lap it up.
