It Had To Be You

Mayank ran his fingers through her thick, silky hair and smiled to look at the sleeping creature who was sleeping nuzzling closed to his broad chest. After a long he was thinking to spend the whole day with Nupur as from past many weeks he was busy with his project works and now when he was sure about the success of his project he was feeling a bit relieved as he knew Riya would surely help him to work and complete this project which will take him towards his successful future. Mayank stroked and kneaded her cheeks with the pad of his thumb and leaned to give her a peck, "She would be surprised to see me in home"

He chuckled playing with the silky strands of her hairs.

"Nupur'Sleepy beauty gets up'it's almost noon."

He whispered in her ear stroking her cheeks and she fluttered her eyes, lifting up at them and gave her exactly the same expressions he'd thought. "Mayank didn't you go today?"

She gasped rubbing her eyes and then clung to him realizing she wasn't dreaming.

"No"He replied huskily wrapping her in his arms and she pulled a bit to look up to meet with his gaze.
"really'I thought I'm dreaming"

He dropped his eyes as the words slowly penetrate in his ears and something hit hard by the walls of his heart. He realized. Something strange feelings had leaped in his chest and he shrugged.

"It's not a dream'I thought to take one day break and spend some time with you"Mayank brushed the hair from her forehead and continued.

"I thought you would happy to see me home.Don't you?" Mayank murmured in her ear, his arms securely around her and she lifted her chin to face him and then gave a broad smile in response of his word, "of course I'm so happy'so happy to be in your arms"

Though the smile hadn't left her lips but he felt a deep grief in that voice or he was thinking too much. He didn't know why but he felt like removing that grief from her heart and filled it with the warmth of their closeness.

"And I want to keep you in my arms always like this" He spoke slowly, seeming to sense her bewilderment though he himself was unaware why did he speak those words? Why couldn't he keep those words back in his heart? It was the reaction of that intimate moment or was something else? He didn't know.

"Mayank--don't ever leave me'I can't live without you"

He felt her quiver, her thick tangle of lashes lowering to hide the pain that flared through her eyes but he'd seen the wetness in her eyes. He gasped trying to collect his scattered thoughts on her words acutely aware of the silence that had abruptly filled at that intimate moment. He took a sharp breath and then cradled her face to meet with her gaze, "I won't"

He knew these words weren't enough'her voice had demanded more but he couldn't say anything more.

"I know" she said, her voice barely more than a whisper and then she had felt him pulling her more closer to him'so closer that she felt herself out of breath for a moment, a strange wave of emotions had flushed through his eyes that she had seen'something strange that she never seen in those eyes. She had shivered as the heat of his body easily penetrated her thin night gown and gave him the most needed warmth. She was so lost in that moment that she didn't realize Mayank leaned to kiss her until she felt his warm breath on her face an instant before his mouth found hers and brought her back from her thoughts. At first his kiss was gentle. He brushed his warm mouth against hers, his lips as light as rose petals but then it had turned into a passionate kiss when she parted her lips to invite his tongue in her mouth in submission, a wave f pleasure washed over her as he crushed her with his weight and she slipped her arms around his neck knowing very well what was coming next but she didn't know why? Today it was different, the way he was holding her tightly, his passion, his longing for her 'everything was different'she thought. He was kissing her, murmuring endearments in her ear. All she could do was cling to him kiss and be kissed keeping all the thoughts aside for a moment, His touch was torture. It was ecstasy, a beautiful ecstasy that will take her towards the valley of sensation'she knew, his just one touch and she was his with all her heart'with all her soul.

A ringing bell of his cell broke the moment and he groaned pulling his mouth back, "who is there?"

He annoyed shifting his weight to his side but didn't drop his arms from her; she breathed deeply and buried her face in the folds of his damp wrinkled, half buttoned shirt.

He stretched out his hand and took out his cell giving her an apologizing look, As he kept the cell with his ear a familiar feminine voice came from the other side and he knew who was She, "I hope I' didn't disturb you"

He startled at her words giving a quick glance to Nupur who was frowning questioning him with her eyes.
