In the first chapter when I read the part where Khushi decided to give away her child hoping for his better future, I had a feeling that she has probably faced rejection at various levels, shunned by society for being a single mother. I loved the narration of her story, could actually feel her pain while reading.

While reading the narration, I couldn't help but draw a parallel b/w Arnav and Khushi. Arnav had been shown having a baggage when Khirad entered his life, there is a possibility that he too faced rejection of some form. Khushi had tried to kill herself and the unborn child, while Arnav's recklessness killed his unborn and made Khirad shut him out. Khushi gave her child away as she felt unworthy and Arnav couldn't look at Khirad in the eye and believed she deserved better. In one of the updates Arnav had confessed living a life of self destruction before Aryan entered; Khushi with support may not reach such a state, but looking forward to how she moves on.

Arnav is right though it does not change the fact that Khushi gave Aryan away, the dynamics do change when actions are done out of love, care, concern, as a well wisher. Looking forward to more.

Sweta, I so glad you pointed out the parallel's i was trying to draw between Arnav and Khushi. Thats one of the reasons i loved this update. You could find the different paths they had both taken but somehow they are both very similar in many ways. Which only makes it harder to dislike either.You cannot take back the past, i wish there was a way you could. But sadly, its something you have to live with, carry with yourself for a long time. And i don't think, it really disappears, you just learn to live with it in hopes of making yourself of a better person.

Thank you. I always look forward to your comments. You always manage to drag out little hints i have left lying around in the updates. And i guess it makes the writing worth it, if the reader can see into little details. 😳
