Chapter 6:Khushi blushed and looked away as she realised the meaning behind his words, and Arnav smirked and replied jokingly 'Not like that Khushi, you're not nave at all!'
Khushi looked at him in wonderment and asked 'Then what do you mean?'
Arnav half-smiled and took her hand in his, and replied softly 'That, is a surprise. Now eat up quickly, or else my plan will go to waste!'
Khushi responded by eating her food quickly, the occasional 'Mmm' and 'Ahhh' not being missed by Arnav, as she thoroughly enjoyed all her food, licking her lips at the end.
'Ho gaya?' He asked, as she licked her lips.
She jumped up and replied 'Haan, ab batao humein, kya hai mera surprise?'
'Just come with me, okay?'
He caught hold of her hand and laced his fingers through hers, and led her out of the door and towards the main entrance.
'Hum bahar jaa rahe hain, Arnavji?'
'Uhhh'kind of' He replied, unsure how to be evasive about where they were going.
He took out a blindfold, and before tying it on, asked her 'Do you trust me?'
'Apne aap se bhi bahut zyada'
He smiled gently, and carefully tied the blindfold around her eyes, making sure it was comfortable, yet making sure she could not see. Khushi held her hands out, trying to find him, and as usual, Arnav swooped in before she could trip over, in her usual Sanka Devi style, and lifted her off the ground, bridal style.
'Arre, yeh aap kya kar rahe hain?!'
'Khushi I can't risk you falling over, even if you were holding onto me, please, this is much safer, and I would be more comfortable holding you like this'
She complied, and wound one arm around the base of his neck and the other held tightly onto his collar, as she lay against his chest.
She felt like he was walking for hours, and her impatience was increasing when she finally asked "Uff oh Arnavji, aap kya kar rahe hain?'
"Just wait Khushi, I promise you it will all be worth it!"
"But where are you taking me?!"
"Be patient, we will be there in 2 minutes!"
Khushi fiddled uncomfortably with the blindfold he had tied around her eyes, and even though she knew she would have been scared in other circumstances, she also knew that with Arnavji by her side, nothing would happen to her.
As she felt him stop, and put her down, making sure she was stable, she asked "Now can I take this blindfold off?"
She needn't have said anything else, because before she could reach up to untie it, he had untied it for her.
She let out a gasp, as her eyes grew even bigger in surprise and her mouth formed an 'O'. The sight before her had left her nearly breathless, and the tears welled up in her eyes, matching the joy that had filled her heart.
In front of her, there was a pathway lit up with lamps on either side, leading to a beautifully covered gazebo.
IThe trees around it had been draped with fairy lights, giving the entire surroundings an ethereal feel.
A tear fell from Khushi's eye, as she turned to Arnav, her heart beating a million miles a minute and feeling as though it would jump out of her chest.
Arnav squeezed her right hand hand in his left, and raised his right hand to wipe the tear away.
He led her towards the gazebo, where there was a round bed in the middle of it, decorated with red rose petals, Khushi's favorite flower.
'Khushi, we don't have to have sex tonight if you don't want to, but I thought perhaps tonight, you'd like to sleep under the real stars rather than the projection of the stars'
Unknown to Arnav, Khushi was craving intimacy, the day had emotionally drained her, and all she needed now was to be connected to him, physically and emotionally. They hadn't had that sort of intimacy since Sheetal and Aarav had moved in, and she would not let this opportunity pass her by.
'No, no, it's nothing like that, in fact, I would love to..you know..' she replied, looking at him demurely from under her lashes.
Arnav's eyes widened and his lips curled up in a half-smile, as he replied 'Oh really? Well, Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada, as you wish!'
She blushed and her eyebrows knitted together as she asked 'Arnavji, is there anything for me to change into here..? I know it's unlikely, but last time...there were some clothes..'
'Of course you have a wardrobe here Khushi, do you even have to ask? Do you want to take a shower and change? I have to make a phone call to Aman as well, so you can go back inside if you want, I'll meet you in there about 15-20 minutes? We can bring some other things out as well then.'
'Theek hai' she replied, and she rushed back inside, not wanting to spend another minute without her other half.
As Arnav watched Khushi make her way back, and making sure she was out of earshot, he whipped his phone out of his pocket, and called up Aman.
'Hello, Aman?'
'Yes, I need you to arrange an apartment, preferably far away from Shantivan, for Sheetal and Aarav.'
'This has to be done immediately, they need to move out by tomorrow evening.'
'Call up the regular real estate agent that we used for AR and Shantivan, they were extremely efficient.'
'That sounds fine, that's far from Shantivan and close to Aarav's school.'
He glanced at his watch and seeing that 15 minutes had passed, he started walking back inside.
'Alright Aman, just text me the details, I won't be checking my phone till tomorrow morning.'
He hung up the phone and called out 'Khushi? Are you done?'
'Haan Arnavji, hum aa rahe hain, do minute dijiye'

Precap for Chapter 7:
She made her way to him, swaying her hips gently, as her wet hair fell naturally around her waist.
She was wearing a blood-red sari, and her face was looking young and fresh and devoid of any makeup, except for some kohl and lipstick.
'Khushi?' he barely managed to say, her name left as a whisper from his lips.
She smiled at him, fluttering her eyelashes. She had no idea what kind of an effect she was having on him, and she was about to find out, as Arnav skulked towards her, his lean body enhanced by the sleek three-piece suit he was still wearing.
He crushed her to his body, never wanting to let her go, and gently touched his lips against hers, as he leaned his forehead against hers.
Khushi was breathing heavily, her chest heaving up and down, as Arnav groaned inwardly.
'Arnavji...' she panted.
'God Khushi, do you know what you do to me?' he moaned, unwilling to let there be an inch of space between them.
A/N:
Hope you guys enjoyed the update! (and I hope this was longer and more satisfying than the last!)
My internet has been fixed (hurray!) (but who knows how long it'll last this time), and thus my updates will be much more regular!
As a side note - I will be wrapping up this SS quite quickly, perhaps in another 2-3 chapters, as I have another idea for a story and I want to begin writing that.
As another side note - I will not be going into too much detail when it comes to the sex/sensual scenes in Ch7, because first of all, my writing is not erotic, and second of all, I do want to keep the essence of the romance/angst (which has been resolved, for now)
My Arnav is much more devoted to Khushi's happiness (which is why there are certain things he will do, which the real Arnav did not do, and which made us all rather frustrated!)
