Recap: Charu and Akshant get married. Kashish is feeling strange about going to Australia that night.
PART 17
Kashish woke up with a sudden jerk caused by the flight as it landed at the Sydney Airport. She could not believe that she slept for so long. She looked up to the seat next to her and saw Kripa doing the final touches of her make up.
Kripa: good morning di. That was a record-breaking sleep.
Kashish: (lazily) hmmmmm.
Kripa: di chaleye. Are u going to stay in this flight forever?
Kashish: itni bhi jaldi kya hain. Let them open the door first. Don't worry Angad is not gonna die if he wait for couple more minutes.
Kripa: di plz aap bhi na. aisa kuch bhi nahi hain.
Kashish: par tumhari sajawat ko dekhar mujhe kuch aur lag rahi hain.
Kripa: di I was just getting ready.
Kashish: as you say buddy.
They both finished all the immigration work and got out of the airport soon. As soon as they came out a lady in her mid twenties came near to Kripa. Kripa took a good look at the girl. She was very pretty.
Girl: are u kripa Garewal.
Kripa: yep that's me.
Girl: (taking her hand out for a shake hand) Hi I'm Emma. I'm Angad Khanna's secretary from R-K Industries. Welcome to Australia.
A mixed emotion of disappointment and jealousy was obvious in kripa face after hearing that she was angad's secretary. Kashish wanted to laugh so badly at Kripa's expression but she controlled herself. She marked in her mind to tease kripa about it later. Kashish decided to introduce herself as she saw Kripa was standing at Emma like she was going to burn her with her stares in any minute.
Kashish: hi Emma. I'm Kashish Sinha. I'm the M.D. of Mittal enterprises.
Emma: oh hi. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry Angad didn't tell you that you were coming.
Kashish: it was a last minute change.
Emma: I guess its ok. Anyways Angad has sent me to collect you and drop you at your hotel.
Kashish: oh ok then let's go. Chale kripa. She almost pulled kripa as she wasn't willing to move or take her jealousy eyes from Emma.
"Finally we are here." Kripa said as she threw herself to the bed.
Kashish: we are not here for vacation so wake up sweetie.
Kripa: Now? But the work won't start until tomorrow.
Kashish: not now. In the evening. We have to meet the board members.
Kripa: ok now let me sleep for some time.
Kashish wasn't feeling sleep. So she decided to go take a shower. That's when her cell started ringing. She picked it up saw it was unknown.
Kashish: hello. Miss Sinha speaking.
Other person: hello
Both of them felt a shiver going inside as soon as they heard each other's voice. It felt like they heard this voice before so many times and was waiting to hear it again.
Other person: hello this is Mr.Garewal.
Kashish was shocked hearing the name. She didn't know what to say.
Other person: hello Miss Sinha are you there?
Kashish: huh…ya.. yes.
Other person: hi …...I'm the M.D. of RK enterprises. I just called to know if you have reached here safely.
Kashish was disappointed and relieved hearing this as she knew that this wasn't the person she thought it would be. She understood why she was relieved but she didn't understand why she was disappointed.
Sujal: Miss Sinha
Kashish: ya ya I'm fine Thank you.
Sujal: ok then I'm looking forward to meet you tonight.
Kashish: uhmmm ok
Both of them stood like that without wanting to disconnect the phone. They wanted hear each other's voice again. They didn't know why they were attracted to it.
Kashish didn't want to cut the line. So she asked him to do it.
Kashish: are you going to put the phone down.
Sujal: (unwillingly) oh ok. Bye
Kashish: bye.
Kashish was feeling really confused and restless about this incident. She had never felt anything like this before. She could hear her heart thumping very loud. She was sweating real badly. She went to the shower and stood before the cold water for an hour not moving an inch. On the other hand Sujal wasn't felling any better. He was keep thinking about that voice. It was really sweet. It reminded him of some one. Now both of them were thinking about each other.

"Get up Kripa or else I'll throw hot water on you." Kashish said as she tried waking up Kripa.
"Haaaaa what time is it di." Kripa yawned and stretched her hand as she got up from the bed.
Kashish: its 5.30.
Kripa: what? Why are u waking me up now?
Kashish: hello, back to earth honey. We have to go to the
Kripa: OFFICE. How boring? I'M NOT COMING.
Kashish: kya to mein akeli jaaoon.
Kripa: aap jayeye. Mujhe nahi ana. Mujhe sona hain. I'll meet everyone tomorrow.
Kashish: this anagd has become a big headache for me. He is not letting you go even in your dreams.
Kashish: ouchhhh. She screamed as Kripa threw a pillow at her.
"He is just a friend di". Kripa screamed from the top of her lungs as Kashish closed the front door to leave. Kripa laid back to the bed thinking of Angad.

Kashish was amazed as she watched the beauty of the Sydney city with all the lights. This was her first trip to here. Even though she had been to so many countries, she had to admit that she never saw anything beautiful like this before. The car stopped in the porch of a very big building named R.K. enterprises. One of the staff came out and opened the door for her. She moved towards the reception admiring the beauty of the building at the same time. She was really impressed by the interior designing of the building. The receptionist saw her and flashed her trade mark smile.
Receptionist: hi good evening Mam. How may I help you?
Kashish: hi I'm Kashish Sinha. I have an appointment with Mr. Khanna and Mr. Garewal. Kashish coughed a little bit as she took that name. The receptionist looked at the comp for a second and looked back at Kashish.
Receptionist: oh ya you do. They are waiting for you in his cabin. Its room 507 in the fifth floor. Go straight and the elevator is on your right side. Have a good evening.
Kashish: you too. Thnx.
She then walked nervously towards the elevator and pressed the button. She didn't know why she was sweating and thirsty. As soon as the elevator reached the fifth floor, she got out of it and started searching for the room. She found it finally and stood in front of it, a little afraid to open it. She finally knocked it and heard a voice from inside telling her to come inside. She turned the knob and entered the cabin. Her eyes first fell on the person sitting on the chair. She immediately knew it was Angad Khanna. Kripa's "new friend". She wanted to laugh at that thought.
"Hey kripa". Angad said without even looking at her as he heard the door open. But when he looked up, much to his disappointment he saw someone else. He felt like he saw this person before but couldn't remember where or when. But before he could think anymore, the side door wide opened and Sujal came in, buried in files asking something to Angad. He looked up as he saw a shadow in front of him looking at him with a shocking face. Kashish didn't need much time to recognize the person who barged into the room. She didn't need time to recognize his voice. She could do that even in her sleep. She didn't know what to do at that moment. Her brain was frozen. She wanted to run but her legs refused to move. Tears started to well up in her eyes. She forgot that Angad was standing there watching all these. Sujal's state wasn't any different either. He was also shocked to hell as he saw Kashish Sinha standing in front of him. Was that really her or someone else. He blinked his eyes several times to make sure that he wasn't dreaming and she was standing there for real. It was the tears in her eyes which made him realize that she had also recognized him. He felt like somebody stabbed him when he saw she was about to cry. A feeling of guilt surrounded him but he couldn't do anything. He was helpless. Kashish quickly composed her figure and asked Angad where the rest room is. She left the room and went to the rest room. She cried for couple of minutes and washed her face, quickly put on the make up. She returned like nothing happened even though her life has taken a drastic turn a moment ago.
Kashish: hello Mr. Khanna. Good to see you.
Angad: good to see you too.
She introduced herself to Angad. He immediately recognized who she was by her name. He wanted to ask her where kripa was. But was afraid as Sujal was still standing there. But kash understood what he was thinking.
Kashish: she is taking rest.
Angad: oh ok. I've to go make a call. You can go to the meeting room. Everyone is there.
And by the way this is Sujal Garewal, The Company's M.D.
Angad wasn't sure if he should introduce both of them but he knew that the ice had to break some way or another and he had to get out there as soon as possible. "Hi Mr.garewal." Kashish greeted Sujal in a cold voice and a fake smile like he was a complete stranger. Angad walked away first leaving them alone. Both of them were looking deeply into each other's eyes like they were searching for something. "Kaisi ho Kash". Sujal decided to break the ice between them and spoke. Kashish felt her body tremble as she heard him taking her name after so many years with the same love and care. She wanted to run to his arms and hug him instantly. She wanted to tell him how desperate she was without him. She wanted to tell him how much she missed him. How much she wanted him in her life. How lonely she was without him. But suddenly everything flashed in front of her. She wasn't going to let him know that she missed him. She wasn't going to let him know that she was weak. She wasn't going to let his sweet voice fool her again. "I'm good Mr. Garewal. So now if you'll excuse me, we have a meeting to attend. Do you mind showing me the room?" Sujal was examining her head to toe. He had to admit that she looked more beautiful, matured, elegant and stubborn. But her eyes, the one that Sujal loved the most in her wasn't shining as it used to be. It looked lifeless. He wasn't shocked or surprised when she showed her cold attitude. He couldn't expect more. But somewhere in his heart he wished that she would talk to him like she used to. So that he could tell her that he still LOVED her even though he never realized it. But her response made clear that she didn't want anything to do with him. Knowing her nature more than anyone else, he started to walk forward and they proceeded to the meeting room quietly letting the silence between them speak and wondering what destiny has in store for them.
