Afterglow

This is my first OS, heck it's the first time I'v ever written anything! So, im really nervous to put this out in front of you guys. So please read, like, comment!
I really wanna know how it is. Postive criticism is welcome, as i want to know how to improve.

Okay, enough blabbering...so here it goes
"I want this deal closed by tomorrow Aman. You know how important this deal is for the company. I don't care how you do it, but just do it!" he shouted through his bluetooth at his secretary , just as he was walking out of his office.
As he was getting into his car, what he saw made him stand rooted to his place. His breath caught in his chest, his lungs constricted, and he couldn't breathe even though he was standing in an open space.
He, being shocked was an understatement. He couldn't believe what he saw. Astonishment, confusion, realisation; all the emotions passed through his face.
He saw her , her eyes!
Here I am, lost in the light of the moon
That comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divides
The thorns from the roses,
it's you and the roses
He missed her so much since the past year, ever since that happened, the accident, memories flashing in front of his eyes. He felt guilty.
What was supposed to be one of their happiest days of their lives, turned into a disaster in a second. He couldn't eat, sleep or breathe properly ever since she left him... all alone.
He thought of her every minute of every day.
And here she was right in front of him.
He saw her getting in a cab. He didn't know what to do. But those eyes...
He decided to follow her. As he was driving, a lot of things went through his mind. He was happy that he saw her after a year.
He always wanted to find her, but he knew that if he did and when he did, he wouldn't be able to control himself. He just didn't have the strength.
After a while he saw her getting out of the cab and entering into a supermarket and he followed suit. He stayed a bit far from her so that she wouldn't catch him. Even he picked some things for the sake of it.
His Di would be surprised, that he actually went to a supermarket and bought something.
He followed her again as she took another cab. He was having a hard time keeping a tab on the cab as it was going quite fast and there were too many turns. A few times he almost lost sight of the cab.

She finally stopped the cab in front of the mandir and got out. She had to take so many turns and make the route long and confusing as she had noticed a guy in an SUV following her since the supermarket.
"Was he following me before that too?" she thought paying some money to the driver.
She was annoyed that she had to pay more due to the long route taken.
"Why the hell is he following me? I don't think I know him, does he know me? Who is he?" she was muttering to herself as she was climbing the steps of the mandir.
"Well atleast he's not following me anymore, thank god i noticed him and used my brain!" she proudly thought.
She thanked Devi Maiyya for everything, especially the past year.
After she finished praying, she walked down the stairs and was shocked at what she saw!
At the end of the stairs, looking up at her with a bemused expression, was him! He was standing there just staring at her. She started feeling uncomfortable under his scrutiny.

He saw her walking down the stairs and was just gaping at her, her eyes. He was looking at her as if it was the most normal thing to do.
Then suddenly he saw her walking towards him. He tried to pretend as if he was busy on his phone typing away.
"Okay , enough is enough. You're following me , i don't know for how long! What the hell do you want?" she burst out. "And yes i know you're not busy on your phone, so just speak up!"
He wasn't expecting this outburst and didn't know what to say.
So he spoke the first thing that came into his mind, the thing that was on his mind, ever since he saw her.
"You have her eyes" he said, shocked at himself that he had actually said that out loud.
"What?" she asked him quizzically, "Who the hell was her"? she thought
"Never mind," he said and looked away as his eyes turned moist, as if tears would fall anytime.
She was confused as to what he was saying and why he was acting this way. And suddenly it hit her.
It was him! The guy she was trying so hard to get into contact with, the guy who had given her another life.
She couldn't believe that she was finally face to face with him.

Flashback
"Doctor , who donated the eyes ? I really need to thank that person" She asked the doctor with happiness. She could finally see the world around me, but wanted to see the person who gave her another life. "I cant beta, he has asked me not to disclose his name to anyone" the doctor replied.
She was sleeping, but some voices brought her out of her sleep
Nurse 1 : You know who donated eyes for this girl, Arnav Singh Raizada!
Nurse 2 : What? ASR! But why would he? And how do you know?
Nurse 1 : Well , i unintentionally evesdropped on the coversation between the Doctor and him. You know right that he was in an accident. I think those were his wife, Khushi Singh Raizada's eyes.

He started walking away but the next few words that came out of her mouth made him halt.
"You're Arnav Singh Raizada, aren't you? Khushi's husband?" she asked with a hint of surprise in her voice.
He turned around, confusion etched all over his face, wondering how she knew her name, his name.
"How do you know?" he asked
"I can see the way, you look at me, at my eyes. Its filled with love, sadness and guilt. These emotions can't be for a person you don't know but for a person you knew and can still see in my eyes" she said with sadness.
"Khushi" he whispered , tears threatening to fall from his eyes, and one did manage as it slowly trickled down his face.
He didn't know how to react. He was going through too many emotions. And memories flashed in front of his eyes, making him feel gulity again.
But he was glad he found her. He wanted to see her for one last time, to feel her, to ask forgiveness for the mistake he made, so that he could make peace with himself that she had forgiven him, though he knew he would punish himself till he the day he died.
"Well, living without her is a punishment itself" he thought choking back his tears , staring blankly at the ground, lost in his own world.
"I'm Lavanya , by the way" she said breaking the silence and bringing him out of his trance.
He didn't know what to say, as he lifted his head to look at her.
But unknowingly his arm lifted on it's own accord and started to move towards her face, her eyes.
Seeing, his arm move towards her face, she automatically closed her eyes.
When his hand grazed her eyelids, he remembered all the beautiful moments that he spent with her. The good, the bad, all of them...because those were the only things he was holding on to , to survive.
When he touched, he could feel her, around him, close to him as if she recognised his touch, telling him that it was not his mistake, that it had just happened, to move on, to let go and that it was...fate.
He silently left the mandir, stronger than before, content and smiling thinking this moment, the feel of her, seeing her for the last time was enough to help him survive for the rest of his life!
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow as I let you go
I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
