Arnav and Khushi soon joined back the festivities.As soon as Lavanya spotted them she strolled towards them "ASR Chamkeeli kahaan gayab ho gaye tum dhono.Ab chalo sangeet performances shuru hone wala hai " with that she pulled them both and made them sit in the front specially alloted for the bride and the groom.
Lavanya smiled at them and looked around for NK "Yeh NK kahaan chala gaya.Pakka kisi ladki ke saath hoga.Jab dekho flirt karna shuru kardhetha hai aur yeh ladkiyaan bhi uske smile dekh kar hi clean bowled ho jaathi " she said grudgingly muttering to herself causing Khushi and Arnav to exchage amused looks at each other.
"Guys i'l just come, ab mujhe iss NK ko dhoond na padega " with that she strolled off irritated.
Arnav looked at her and frowned "Yeh Lavanya ko kya ho gaya waise bhi NK will always be NK " he rolled his eyes thinking about his crazy cousin.
But Khushi looked at him excitedly "Arnavji hume lagta hai ki Lavanya ko Nanehji pasand hai "
Arnav rolled his eyes "Khushi,Lavanya bohot sensible aur practical ladki hai aur NK bilkul uski type nahi "
She pouted "Rehne dheejiye apko yeh sab dhiktha hi nahi.Par hume pakka yakeen hai ki Nanehji ko Lavanya bohot pasand hai" she smiled at him proudly her mind working overtime.
Arnav again rolled his eyes exasperated "NK? Yeah right.NK ko har ladki pasand hai.He's a first class flirt "
Khushi gasped "Arnavji ! aap Nanehji ki baarein main aise kaise keh sakthe hain? Nanehji bohot ache hai " she beamed.
"Oh yeah itna acha ki tum par bhi line maarne ki koshish kiya tha" Arnav muttered annoyed.
Khushi's eyes widened "Kya?? bilkul nahi.Nanehji humari ache dost hai.Aap un par galat inzaam mat lagayiye "
"Oh yeah?He flirted shamelessly with you in the begining.Aur tum itna innocent ho ki tumhe yeh baat kabhi samaj mein nahi aaya.And whenever he used to flirt with you i get so annoyed that i felt like punching him" he spoke without thinking.
Khushi looked at him with her eyes wide and a 1000 watts smile lighting up her face "Toh iska matlab aap jaland tha "
Arnav smirked and admitted seeing no point in denying "Your damn right i was "
Khushi smiled up at him captivated by his admission.She looking around quickly to see if anyone watching them and gave him a quick peck on his cheek.He looked at her amused and a wide contended smile came across his face.They both looked at each other mesmerised forgetting about the outside world.
Meanwhile Lavanya finally found NK in the midst of models from AR fashion house,talking animatedly while the ladies drooled over him not really caring what he was talking.Lavanya fumed within herself.She is not sure why but felt really jealous looking at those models flirting shamelessly with NK.She dint like it one bit.
NK spotted Lavanya but she stopped midway and her expression changed into one of annoyance.He looked at her confused and excused himself from the pretty ladies.
"Hey Lavs whats up? Tum mujhe dhoond rahe ho? " he flashed his cheerful grin at her but she just ignored it.
"NK sorry to barge in on your fruitful conversation with your ladies.Par hume performance ke liye dher ho rahi hai.And i hope you remember we both are performing today " she said irritably.
NK frowned confused by her sudden cold attitude "Lavs kya hua? tum itni issa kyun ho "
Lavanya closed her eyes for a second annoyed with herself "Issa nahi gussa.And no am not angry why should i? tum apne time pass mein kya karthe ho isse mujhe kya faraq padtha hai? If you flirt with those models its your problem " she started speaking fast without even realising what she is saying.
NK looked confused for a minute and slowly a small smile crept across his lips.'Damn she is angry because she is jealous of those girls talking to me.Wow ' he thought happily to himself.
Without giving him time to respond she huffed off muttering "Now come soon lets get off with this stupid performance "NK stood looking at her retrieving back still stunned by her unknowing revealation.He couldnt stop smiling.
Finally it was time for their performance and Lavanya looked stunning in her sky blue glittering saree.NK found it impossible to take his eyes off her.When he joined her behind the curtains he smiled at her "Hey Lavs you look gorgeous "
"NK rehne do.You dont have to waste one of your flirty lines on me " she ignored him sounding annoyed.
Now NK felt annoyed and was about to explain when the curtain dropped open and they stood before the spot light.Lavanya's expression instantly changed and her face glowed as she performed with him on the evergreen song "Pehla Pehla Pyaar hai " from the movie maine pyaar kiya Khushi's favourite hero's gaana.
Khushi instantly brightened and she bounced off happily in her seat watching NK and Lavanya perform beautifully.At the first words of Pehla Pehla Pyaar both Khushi and Arnav looked at each other and smiled.They could so relate to this song.
Khushi entwined her hands in between Arnav and enjoyed the performance.Arnav too liked it and he couldnt help but smile being happily in love.
Lavanya and NK moved in pefect syncronisation and looked absolutely adorable and perfect together which dint go unnoticed by Anjali and Khushi.While the others remained clueless and just enjoyed the performance.
Both Lavanya and NK forgot their momentary annoyance the moment they went on stage and started dancing.Both their eyes never left each other the entire time and danced away in their own world.
A sudden noise of loud applause and cheers brought them back to reality and they quickly pasted a smile and bowed gracefully.
Khushi laid her head across Arnav shoulders and sighed happily "Arnavji in dhonon ko dhekh kar hume humara teri meri performance yaad aa gaya " She said dreamily.
Arnav smiled down at her and squeezed her hands winking "I know Khushi mujhe bhi.Infact i imagined both us on the stage now i dint really see NK and Lavanya but you in my arms up there " he said smirking.
Khushi gasped and blushed "Arnavji humne bhi stage par Naneji ji jage" she stopped midway and smiled teasingly "Salman ji ko imagine kiya "
As expected Arnav said "What the?? Khushi tum Salman Khan ko imagine kiya? "
She smiled at him innocently and then cheered on the next performance happily.
Arnav shook his head and muttered "Unbelievable yeh ladki mujhe pagal karke hi chodegi "
