CHAPTER 3

"Arnav? What took you so long?" They both turned to see Meera at the door. "Sorry mom .. Actually I.." He tried to explain what happened but Meera cut him off. "Explain later. Now come with me. You haven't talked to Riya yet. I know you like her but you two need to talk." She smiled at him. Arnav turned to Rohan who immediately looked other side biting his nails. Arnav turned back to Meera. "Yeah mom I'll come in a minute you go" He said. Rohan quickly turned to go but was stopped by Arnav. "I meant WE" Meera went.

"Look! I did what came to mind at that time! I am sorry yaar!" He said looking at Arnav. "Why did you open your damn mouth?" Arnav shot back. "No! you should ask Khushi! Why the hell did she vanish when I looked there? Its obviously her fault" Rohan said crossing his hands. Arnav raised his eyebrow. "I know I know! Now that you have found love you have forgotten your buddy! Very fair!"

"You! I can't even be angry with you! I hate you!" Arnav expected his defeat. "Great! So don't be angry and now lets go or else your Dadi may come!" Arnav glared at him as he grabbed his hands and went to the living room. "Here he is" Rohan smiled at everyone. "Good! Khushi you take them to the terrace." Naina said. Arnav immediately looked at Khushi. "God! What is happening yaar!"

Khushi took them both to the terrace. "Khushi, can you be here?" Arnav didn't know what he just asked. Is he mad? He thought. "What?" Khushi gave a questioned look at him. "I mean, its not nice na? Girl and boy alone in one room?" He lied. He actually wanted to be with Khushi. "A room?" Khushi raised her eyebrow. "Err I meant terrace" Arnav corrected his sentence. "But.." Khushi didn't want to stay but Riya held her hand. "Yeah! He is right! We three can talk! It would be fun!" Riya said excitedly.

"Arnav'" Riya looked at him. "Yes" He too looked at her. "Umm.. Don't be angry okay? I actually lied" He looked at her. Confused. "I mean I lied. I said yes to the proposal because if I didn't my mom will bring more boys and eat my head. So its better if I say yes now" She wished that he won't get mad at her. Arnav didn't know what to say. "But'.. Rohan said you'. like me?" Riya asked. "No! he lied!" Finally! Finally he spoke the truth. "I'm sorry." He said.

"No.. Its okay. But please don't tell the family about it. Let them think that we like each other. Please" Riya pleaded. "But'" Arnav didn't like it. How can he do that? "Please" Riya begged. "Okay fine." Arnav smiled. "So friends?" Riya shook hands with him. They both smiled.

"Hogaya?" Both looked at Khushi who was boiling with anger. "khushi.. I.." Roya started stammering. "So you lied! Really Riya! You are a very good actor!" Arnav gulped seeing her anger. "Will she shout at me like that?" Arnav wondered. "Will he like me? I am so worried Khushi" Khushi mimicked Riya. "I said na!" Riya tried to calm her but Khushi was too irritated. "Riya! When will you understand? Relationships are not a joke! You can't make fun of it! You don't even understand the value of relationships!" Khushi shouted at her.

"And you do?" Riya asked crossing her hands. "I..I" Khushi didn't know what to say. "Yeah tell. You do understand the value of relationships?" Arnav was enjoying this. Khushi was tongue-tied. "Well' that's not the point!" Khushi said looking at Arnav who was smirking at her. "So whats the point?" Arnav asked. Riya laughed. Khushi glared at her. " The point is that you and Riya can't act like being in a relationship! That's not right!" She knew they both won't listen to her.

"Guys! What the problem?" They turned to see Rohan. He came to them. "Good! Now you tell your friend!" Khushi told Rohan what happened. Rohan went near Arnav. "See! Now you can tell Khushi.." Arnav stepped on his foot. "Aaarrrhh!" Rohan screamed in pain. Arnav winked at him hoping that he would understand his gesture. "Direction change karo! You are winking at me!" Rohan said turning Arnav's face to Khushi. Arnav quickly threw away his hand and looked at him. "We have got to talk" He gave an angry glare at him.

"What the heck is happening here? I asked you to talk to him about this and you are grinning?" Khushi stared at Rohan. "Hell yaar! Why are you people always after me? Look! I am not getting into this! Your problem so you deal with it!" Rohan said. "Yeah right! And I am going to tell everyone the truth!"

"Khushi please! You have always helped me in everything. Last time please?" Riya hoped she would say yes. Khushi looked at her. "Fine! But what will you guys do when they talk about marriage?" She asked. "Then we will tell them the truth. And you know na why I am doing this? I want to fall in love. I wanna love a guy. I want love marriage not arranged. And within these days I will find my love. I have total faith in my God."

Khushi squeezed her hands. "I hope" She smiled and they both hugged. "Great!" Arnav said. Riya hugged him too. Arnav looked at Khushi and said. "Aaja" He knew she won't hug him but he so wanted to irritate her. He loved it! Khushi gave an angry glare at him. He chuckled. "Okay haath toh mila sakte haina?" he asked holding back a chuckle. Khushi went to him and shook hands. "Good!" He said looking at her. "So friends?" He asked. "In your dreams!" With that she caught Riya's hands and went from there.

"Listen buddy! Never marry her okay! She is gonna kill you with just her talks" Rohan said. Arnav smiled. "And I love it!" He said. "Gosh! Bechara" Rohan chuckled.

"Khushi! Why do you hate him so much?" Riya asked when they reached the stairs. "Because' Umm I don't know!" She said. "He is a nice guy! And now that he is my friend, you should treat him nicely!" Riya looked at her. Just then Arnav and Rohan came. "Exactly!" Arnav joined Riya. Khushi glared at him. Arnav looked at her. "Get ready to fall in love with me, Ms. Khushi Gupta soon to be Mrs. Raizada" He smirked at that thought.

So how was it? You liked it? Will you like Arnav teasing and irritating Khushi? I personally adore these kinda tracks😳 And yeah, don't hate Riya's and Rohan's character. They both are really cute 😳

There is more to be revealed about Khushi's past. And there might be a new entry too. I'm sure you all will love it😉
