awee... i'm glad indira slapped viren... i always pictured her to be that shy- depressed women, who did not have a backbone... but then here, she takes the role of devi, protecting her loved ones and roaring over what needs to be right... loved her for that. i respect indira much, much more now... we have this butterfly running around the house, and then here's her protector from all evil... loved it!

Women Power!!!!! Great chapter. Roles have been assigned, accepted and acknowledged for the upcoming events.

Indira is the strength, endurance and charged with protecting her family. Bhavna is actually the weak one because of her love for her family and fear that family traditions and honor will be tarnished..

Khushi is reghteous and beautifl and very young. I think her role, her strength is still not formed, depsite her mantle of sharpness and quick temper.

A very emotional update. Women only can protect and preserve their honor. I am glad Indira not only stood up for khushi but also showed viren his worth. Not that he will remember but he became the trigger to so many things that will get unfold I guess Arjun will be int he queue. Am so loving itt.. What happens when arnav knows about this incident.

Bhavana is now realizing her mistakes in condemning the wrong. Hope she will do in the coming future . And the bond between her and indira was so touching. And the finak wwords of bhavana literally brought tears in me.. Ofcourse indira is and will be the strength

Thank you all for comments; I am sorry I cannot reply to each and every one of them at the moment will try doing so a little later. I was away the past two days, with a no or limited internet access. I did read the comments posted and I thank you all for doing so. After a 600 kms journey and traversing the Western Ghats of India for two days with a crying child, each and every muscle in my body is screaming with pain. I have to catch up on some much need sleep and reading on IF. I had started writing the next update before I left and am leaving this small teaser for you; do read….promise to complete this at the earliest.

Next update promises –

"Between Avni and Khushi, we will have to stock another fridge just with chocolates, Arnavji. They two sat eating so much watching TV in the evening and now she has sent you to get more" she said turning off the water purifier.

"She is so engrossed in that book so ordered me to get her some and like a good husband I'm doing my duty" he said in mock modesty.

She laughed at him "good husband doing duty, wait till I ask her about that and you know how strongly she will come on to you."

He folded he hands with the box in between and pleaded in jest "please don't, she is eager to fight with me for no reason these days."

"Arnavji, you paint such a bad picture of her, she is such a darling and if she is angry with you; I'm sure you must have given her some reason" carrying the jug.

"Why do I even bother expecting any support from anyone in this house? I am a pariah in my own home when it comes to KHUSHI" he said with a laugh and walked towards his room.

She watched him leave the kitchen with the chocolate and sighed in relief, Khushi had not told him about Viren, till now. She was scared Khushi would tell him everything and knowing Arnav's and Mamaji's temper where Khushi's honor was concerned; she had feared the worst. Amma too had not spoken about this to Khushi's father.
