Part 26:

Khushi: Arnav.. What happened? Is it paining?

Arnav didnt answer.. He just gulped once and then opened his eyes..

Arnav: I am fine..

Khushi kneeled down to him and then touched his bandages..

Khushi: No you are not fine.. Look at you.. I know its paining.. Wait.. I will apply the medicine and change the bandages..

She got up from there and got the First Aid box.. She helped him remove his Shirt and now he sat on the bed with Khushi kneeling down to apply the medicine.. She started removing the old bandage carefully not to hurt him and she was shocked to finally see her name on his chest.. Though it was quite small , she knew how much it would have pained him... Shewanted to touch that name from her fingers but she knew it would not be good to do so. She was already in tears seeing him like this.. She took the ointment and gently applied it on that wound.. The tears were flowing down continuously from her eyes and that too unknowingly.. She didnt knew why she cried.. His pain felt so much hers.. Arnav on the other hand was confused seeing her reactions. He cupped her face and wiped her tears from his thumb.

Arnav: Khushi.. Dont cry.. I am ok..

Khushi (Still sobbing): No Arnav.. This is really foolish.. Why did you do this? Do you even understand this name will remain for years on your chest like that. Though the wound, the pain may go but not these marks, the name will still remain there..

Arnav: I know.. And I want this to remain near my heart forever..

He brought his thumb close to her lips and rubbed it gently wanting something from her. She removed his thumb from her lips and then started bandaging..

Khushi: I am leaving for Buaji's home in an hour..

Arnav: I will drop you..

Khushi: No Need.. You need to rest.. I will go by myself..

Arnav: I said I will drop you.. Dont make decisions on my behalf. Understod?

Khushi looked at him wierdly and then got up to keep the First Aid box back.. Arnav tried wearing his Shirt and she helped him to do it.. Infact she started even buttoning his shirt and a small playful smile crossed his lips..

Arnav: You are so fast in buttoning them.. (She continued without looking at him).. Hope you more quick while you unbutton me sometime..

She stopped buttoning his shirt and looked at him ..

Khushi: Do you want me to button the shirt or leave ?

Arnav: Sorry.. I just thought of playing with you..

Khushi: You already have played a lot with me Arnav... Now just stop all this..

Arnav pulled her by her hair towards him and brought her face close to his..

Arnav: Never ask me to stop playing with you Khushi.. I can never do that.

She gulped when she saw his lips so close to hers.. She wanted to push him but his chest was hurt.. So she started pushing his Thighs for getting up. He didnt let her get up though.. He rubbed his stubble on her cheeks and she could feel his thick pointed hair pricking her, making her cheeks grow red...

He kissed her on her cheeks where he rubbed and then left her.. She got up and stood straight.. Pulling her Robe properly.

Khushi: I will get changed...

Arnav: Hmm.

She took the Red Dress that she had removed in the morning and went to the bathroom. Arnav took his Wallet and Mobile and set his hair to drop her back home..

They were on way to the Gupta House, same signal and the same small child was selling Bouquet of Red Roses.. Arnav saw him and called him, The Boy remembered Arnav and was shocked why he was calling him. Khushi too didnt understand,

Arnav: Give me a Bouquet.. How much?

Boy: Sir.. Rs 1000

Arnav gave him some 5000Rs and the boy was shocked..

Boy: But Sir.. This is not 1000Rs..

Arnav: I know.. The extra money is to compensate everytime we left this signal without me buying them for my wife..

The boy was happy as he got some extra money. He gave the best Bouquet to Arnav and Arnav took it from him and kept it at the backseat.. Khushi was actually shocked and hearing the words WIFE from him, she was about to faint inside..

He didnt give her the Bouquet yet.. He drove straight to Gupta House and then when she was about to get down, he locked the Car doors.

Khushi: Arnav.. I need to go.. Open the door

Arnav took the Bouquet and handed it to her..

Arnav: For you..

Khushi: I dont want..

Arnav: What The..!! I bought it for you.. I know red roses are your favourite..

Khushi: I dont want..

She took the Bouquet from him and kept it back on the seat..

Arnav: Khushi.. This is heights.. Stop behaving like a kid now..

Khushi: No Arnav.. You stop doing all this things.. This doesnt suit you..

Arnav: Fine.. You dont want it.. Ok..

He opened the door and got down. He took the Bouquet from the back seat and threw it down. He then opened her side door and pulled her out..

Arnav: I guess you only know my language when I am angry.. So then fine.. Let me behave like that.. I am coming next week to pick you.. Be ready..

He said that and sat inside his car and left for RM..

Khushi's parents came home the next day. Khushi and Buaji were both very happy but as the days passed, Khushi was getting more and more nervous.. She knew Arnav was supposed to come and take her back. This happiness which she got staying with her family was quite short.. She didnt know what she needed to make her parents understand about hers and Arnav's relationship? SHe tried talking to Buaji about it but even Buaji was worried for the same.

Almost 5 days passed. He didnt call her at all. Nor did he try to meet her.. He was busy in his work. Though he missed her very much, he thought of giving her own space since he knew after that 7 days, he would get her back. He was restless at RM sometimes, missing her and this was not gone unnoticed by the other household members..

Arnav was in his room working when Anjali came inside...

Anjali: Chotte.. Your Coffee..

Arnav: Thanks Di..

Anjali took a chair and sat beside him..

Anjali: Chotte, today Khushi had called up. SHe told me you didnt call her since 5 days?

Arnav: Hmm.. Why she has a problem?

Anjali: Chotte.. She is your girlfriend.. Ofcourse she would have a problem.

Arnav: Look Di.. It was her wish to stay with her parents for some days which I fulfilled.. And now after making me angry and suffering here alone, she expects me to call her everyday?

Anjali: Ohh!! So someone is suffering alone here? CHotte. How sweet.. You were never like this before? Really.. Khushi has changed you so much..

Arnav: Nothing like that Di.. But she is meant to be here.. Not there..

Anjali: Till when Arnav?

Arnav: What do you mean by till when? Forever..

Anjali: But then for that you need to get her legally in this house.. So that she wont be staying away from you anytime after that..

Arnav: You mean getting married?

Anjali: Right..

Arnav thought for a while.. He never believed in mariages.. But if that could make her stay with him forever then he wont be denying..

Arnav: Ok.. Then we will go tomorrow to Gupta House with the Proposal.. Lets get this marriage thing done in a week..

Anjali couldnt believe he agreed so soon. She hugged him and then left the room to tell this to everyone..
