Arnav was tossing and turning on his bed...The same nightmares haunting his sleep...He sat up and gasped...Khushi...He touched his head and got off the bed and walked towards the tall windows looking out to the pool...It was pouring hard...He rested his forehead on the cold glass and sighed...What a grave mistake he had done...Wish he could go back and undo it...But, he couldnt...
When they had come back home, after Khushi rescued him. His family had shown him proofs of Khushi's involvement with the kidnapping...In fact his Di and Mami ji had proofs that Khushi wanted all the money thats why she had done all this...He hit his head on the glass...Wish he hadnt been influenced by them then...Wish he had for a second given her the benefit of doubt...But he hadnt...He had literally thrown her out of his house...Without thinking...without hearing her side...He had dismissed her...And in that process had lost her...He closed his eyes and sighed...
Three days had passed since he got back to Delhi from UK...Three days since he last saw or heard her...He knew where she was...And he wanted to be there as soon as he could...He wont loose her now...He had made the biggest mistake of his life...Now was the time to fix it all...
Since he hadn come back he had told Nanie everything, but had told her to keep quiet about it...He didnt want anyone to know what he was up too... Not till he was sure about it himself...He made up his mind and whispered...Khushi...
Then he reached for his cell to call Aman...It was time he made a move to claim what was his...He looked at the time and said...Dammit...Aman must be fast asleep...No use calling and disturbing him now...

It was late in the night...Prem was crying continuously and Khushi and Naina were trying to pacify him...But he was in no mood to calm down...
Khushi...I think he's teething...Or his stomach is hurting...
Naina...The doctor should be here...Dont know why hes talking so long to get here...
Three days since they got back home...And Prem had been very restless and edgy...But tonight he was crying a lot...Which was not normal...He was normally a calm and quiet baby...
Three days since she last saw him...She had been on edge too...Every mail, every door bell had made her run to answer and get them...She knew he would be sending it soon...She was not ready for it...Prem was still crying in Naina's arms...
Meena entered the room followed by the doctor and Karan...He checked the baby and asked few questions...He concluded that his ears must be hurting cause of traveling...He prescribed some medicines and left...
Prem settled down after awhile...Naina was putting him to sleep...Khushi was standing by the door watching them...Karan saw her and called her out...She followed him...Tension hitting her stomach...Why was he calling her. To talk in private..Had Arnav send the divorce papers to him?? No, He wouldnt...Not to Karan... Would he???
Karan took her in the lounge and said...I know Naina is very possess of everyone around her...But you have to decide and give me an answer soon...I need to do this project with Arnav's company...I know you are, our best designer...I need an answer Soni...He hasnt contacted me and im worried...I dont want to loose this chance...Its not about money...Its something I want to do...Create something no one has...And I need your full support and cooperation in this...
Khushi sighed with relief and said...He has said he wants to come here for his weddings shopping...So he will contact us...
Karan gave her a strange look and said..What did you say?? Arnav is not getting married...His cousin is...KN or something...I didnt catch the name properly...As far as I know, Arnav isnt getting married...Who told you that...
Khushi's heart skipped a beat...she said...A...Naina must have heard wrong then...
Karan smiled and said...She must have...No, its KN..to some friend of Arnav's... Maybe that how Naina got mixed up...You are right, he did say they would come here for shopping and I hope they do soon...Soni...Can you give me your best for this project??
Khushi...Do I have to move to Delhi?
Karan...NO, You can come and go...Its not very far...You dont have to live there...Go in the morning, come back at night...Naina will not be pleased but...She has to get use to living far from you...Shes getting too possessive and I dont agree with this...
Khushi just smiled and said...I want to help you and give my best shot at it...
Karan...Fine then...sleep and give me an answer tomorrow...Hopefully Arnav should get in touch soon too...
Khushi nodded and left...Suddenly she felt light and so happy...She told herself...She was happy cause NK was getting married...But silently, she thanked God that it wasnt Arnav who was marrying Lavaniya...He wasnt marrying her...She smiled...and happily ran to her room...But then she stopped and said to herself...DoOnt be a crazy fool Khushi...Remember he never came for you...He doesnt love or trust you...Never has...

It was afternoon and Naina and Khushi were packing lunch for the office...It was their daily routine...They all ate at the office...Prem was much better now...They packed and left for the office...Karan's office was a huge building, occupying most of the floors for their business and other floors were rented out...Once inside they met Seema, Karan's secretary...She saw them and came running...greeting them and talking to Prem...Who was in a sling worn by Neena...
Seema loved Prem...She was looking at Prem, while talking to the ladies...Guess who has come to the office today??? OMG!!!...The most handsome guy on this earth...My husband is good looking but this one...OMG!!! Hes from Delhi...Can I eat with you guys today?? Joking...They are waiting for you in the meeting room...
Naina beamed and looked at Khushi...He's here...Lets go...Khushi followed shaking her head...It looks as if Naina was more happy to have him here than anyone else...
Naina entered the meeting room and greeted Arnav...They both were so comfortable with each other...Talking as two long lost friends...Khushi felt a bit of jealous and she scolded herself...What nonsense...I have nothing to be jealous about...
Arnav was talking to Naina and greeting Prem and then turned towards her, smiled and said...Hi, Are you ready to work?
Arnav was being very professional...Karan intervened and said...Arnav surprised us all and came to Mumbai to work on the project...I guess he knew Naina wont be sending Soni anywhere...Naina made a face at him and he laughed...They all laughed...
Karan...Lets eat and then Soni can show you what she has been working on...
After lunch Naina took Prem to their room, which was set for them...Karan excused himself as he had a meeting to attend...Leaving behind Khushi and Arnav...She took him to her office...
Her office had a feminine touch...She unlocked a drawer and took out few folders...Opened them and spread out the designs on the desk...
Arnav picked one design after another...He was amazed...Each design was better than the other...He was mesmerized by them...They left him speechless just like their maker...
Khushi was standing by the wall watching him going through her work...She didnt know what he will make of them...He was too arrogant and had hated everything she had done...She didnt know why she was doing this...It was only cause Karan wanted her to do this, so she was here...She sighed...
Arnav looked up as she sighed...He dropped the designs back on the desk and said...They are... good..Not bad for an amateur...Karan has told me that you are still new at this and so thats why I am here to help you select the material and help with the color combinations...I want to work on this together with you. So are you ready to work with me? He looked straight in her eyes...
She was looking at him, but something was not right...Her eyes seemed dull...It lacked the mischief and the life it always had...How had he missed that...He wondered...She had changed that was evident...But such a drastic change...Arnav hadnt thought this was possible...
Khushi looked at him and nodded...Yes...Let me show you the material department...And she picked all the designs and walked out the door...
Arnav was looking at her...She seemed more aloof and estrange than in UK...So unlike Khushi...She was silent and composed...Khushi would have been all over him...Fighting him, challenging him and giving him a piece of her mind...But this person was the exact opposite of the bubbly and carefree Khushi...He then realized, how much damage they all had done to her...They all had shattered her...He sighed and followed her... Vowing to himself to bring back the old Khushi back... soon...
Khushi took him to another floor in a lift and showed him their tailoring department and also where they keep the material..Arnav was impressed and said..This all is very organized and the materials are also good...But I like to go to different cloth shops and choose them myself...
Khushi just nodded and said..That can be arranged...You can talk with Karan about this...He has already seen all the designs... You both can go over all this after dinner...
Arnav followed her in to the lift and the door closed...Leaving them both alone in it...
Arnav...You dont have any problem if I stay at your house? I had booked at the hotel...But Karan wouldnt agree...so..
Khushi..Why would I object...Its a huge house, you will have your own private section...
Arnav...Khushi...
The minute he said that the door opened...Khushi sighed with relief and walked out...She went to her office and both sat down to work on the designs...Soon her cell went off..It was Naina, asking her to come in their room...Khushi could hear Prem crying...She excused herself and walked out...
When she came back after sometime, Karan was also present in the office...Arnav and he were discussing the designs...They worked till late and then they all left for home...After dinner Naina and Khushi retired with Prem...
Naina was hovering over Khushi as she dressed Prem for the night...She said...How was it working with the most handsome guy? Soni, tell me everything...What did you two talk about...Did he ask you out?
Khushi changed Prems diaper and said..We both were working...Hes here for a short time...We didnt talk about anything but work...Naina, you are something...
Prem was enjoying the attention he was getting from the two ladies...With hands in his mouth he was making noises...Khushi went through the whole days event...It hadnt been bad...They had worked...Nothing personal had been discussed...Which was fine by her...One day had passed with ASR without any problem...Now lets see what the next day brings...
