Hey everyone! Thank you for all the likes and comments. This chapter is more like a background chapter. You get to know a little about Arnav's family and who's in it. The next chapter will be posted shortly about Khushi's family and the first part of Khushi's plan So wait!

And without a word she left him standing there frowning for no apparent reason besides that he didn't like that expression on her.

But he didn't see her smirk as she turned around to leave nor did he see her eyes which showed anything but defeat.

Chapter 2.2:

Raizada House 10:13 pm

Arnav paced around his room. He couldn't take away the sight of Khushi standing in front of him in defeat. It shouldn't bother him but it did.

He ran a frustrated hand through his hair and sat down on the sofa. Damn Khushi! He shouldn't be thinking about her while he had to finish his project for AR industries. He hadn't even started it all because of'

"Arnav? Are you alright?" He turned to see Anjali standing in the doorway with a frown. He quickly put all thoughts aside; he didn't want his sister in the middle of his problems. He stood up and walked to her. "I'm fine Anjali. What are you doing up?"

Anjali Sampson wasn't naive as Arnav thought her to be. She knew something was bothering him. She just hoped her brother didn't change his mind about marriage. She likes Khushi a lot and knew that even though both denied their feelings for each other it wouldn't be long before they confessed.

Arnav put a hand around Anjali's waist and led her so she could sit on the bed. Before she could inquire about why he looked so worried Arnav spoke, "Where's Christopher?"

Anjali forgot everything at the mention of her husbands name just as Arnav planned. "Oh, he came back from work and is getting freshen up. He looked so tried so I told him I'll bring food in the bedroom."

Arnav raised an eyebrow at his sister. "Oh I forgot." Anjali rushed out of the room but turned around to say, "Don't think I don't know what you did just there." Arnav smiled at least she didn't come back to lecture about how he needed to 'share his feelings with his family.' He'll have to thank Christopher later.

He didn't like Christopher at first but it was natural. Arnav was protective of Anjali and didn't want any guy around her except him. But Anjali fell in love with Christopher and everything else was forgotten. He was shocked at first because Anjali fell in love with someone who was Christian. His sister was very religious and he honestly didn't think one day she'll marry a man who wasn't Hindu. It wasn't like she didn't respect other religions but more like he didn't think she'll step out of her comfort zone.

Anjali learned more about Christianity and Christopher learned more about Hinduism. He liked to see Anjali excited when she talked about all the different kinds of gods and the different rituals. They were both happy together and he knew that Chris loved his sister with all his heart. Even though he might be a little doubtful about love and its existence he knew for Anjali and Chris there was love and nothing more.

Now it had been 3 years since they were married and he learned they had wanted kids. Chris said something about how he couldn't wait to practice with Anjali until it was right. Arnav rather not think about what that meant even though he had a pretty good idea. At least Nani would be happy and Akash loved kids. Arnav on the other hand didn't want to think about it; secretly it scared the hell out of him.

WOW! Awesome. Anjali marrying christian. It is a completely different dimension and bravo - people should started thinking beyond the religion. Loved it. Can't wait to see what khushi's plan is.
