That was the first sound that awoke Arnav that morning followed by his wife's cursing,

"Damn you stupid vase, I dont know why he needs so many vases, ouch, er, ouch, urgh, the first thing I am going to do is dispose each one of them, ouch"

"Khushi, will you shutup?"

"Oh you're awake I see, and it's not my fault, its your stupid vase, got into my way and crashed and.."

"Wife, when a husband wakes up he doesnt want to be greeted with his wife's rantings he wants to be greeted with a nice hot cup of coffee"

"Oh, you should have told me that before, one hot cup of coffee coming right up"

Arnav smiled, Khushi wasnt being so difficult, ah, there had been his first mistake, his wife could never be obedient, thus 5 minutes later he sat there drenched in steaming hot coffee,

"f**k, OW THAT'S HOT, DAMN IT KHUSHI"

"What the f**k is this Khushi?"

"You said you wanted to be woken up by hot steaming coffee not by your wife's rantings right?"

"I wanted to drink that coffee, not have it poured over my head"

"Well, you should have thought about that before you made your demand"

"Just get out"

"I wont, this is my room as well"

"Fine, I'll get out"

"With pleasure"

Khushi smirked as she saw an annoyed Arnav make his way to the washroom, that better teach him a lesson, it was his stupid vase's fault and he blamed her for it? And her husband sure did need to learn to ask politely, if only he had asked for coffee in a polite way, he would have been drinking it not washing it off.

Nothing was going right today, it was a terrible day right from the start.

First he had been woken up by his wife's ranting, then had steaming coffee poured on him, which he would make sure his wife payed for and now his clothes were all gone, what the heck was happening in this house?

"Khushi Singh Raizada,WHERE THE HELL ARE MY CLOTHES?"

"Will you stop screaming?"

"Just tell me what have you done with my wardrobe?"

"I have done nothing, there's a new cupboard coming today, so I put all your clothes on the bed, are you blind? Just turn around and you'll see THEM"

"Why do we need a new cupboard?"

"This one's so small to hold both are clothes"

"Urgh, fine just do whatever you want"

And with that said he headed towards to bed to pick his clothes for today,

"Why are you getting dressed?"

"Why, have you taking a liking for my body, do you want me strut naked?"

"You're so full of yourself arent you Raizada?"

"You havent answered my question?"

"No, I havent taken a liking for your body"

"Wife, you're such a terrible liar"

"I am NOT LYING"

"Your blush tells me a whole different story"

"Urgh" Khushi's face was flushed with anger, and the only thought that ran in Arnav's mind was, she looked adorable with her pouting lips and srunched up nose, he made a mental note to annoy his wife more often.

"All I wanted to ask was why are you dressing up in your formals?"

"Becuase I have to go to work"

"You're going to work?"

"Yes, I go to work everyday and today is no different"

"No different?"

"You're suppose to spend some time with your new wife"

"But you're old, to be specific you're 5 years old, and no item has a 5 year warranty so I cant even replace you"

Khushi's eyes lighted up, with rage

"Are you saying you want another wife?"

"You're not so dum after all, that is exactly what I mean"

"Now if you'll let me I need to go to work"

"Do you have a sexy assistant?"

"Is that jealousy I hear?"

"Just answer the damned question"

"It definately is"

"Raizada, answer"

"Oh, yeah, she's a bombshell, and an amazing kisser"

"You had an affair with your PA?"

"Well, she is my personal assistant and darling you werent there so I had to take whatever I got"

"It's your fault, you were the one that didnt come for me"

"But now I have, so I can do all the things I did with my PA to you?"

"Ofcourse you cant, I am your wife"

"Ah, I see, ofcourse I cant make my wife shecdule my meetings now can I?" he said as he winked at her.

"So you were just jesting with me?"

"Ofcourse wife, Arnav Singh Raizada has standards which not every girl can meet"

"Really? Not even me?"

"Especially not you"

"But you're wrong there husband"

"Am I?

"Yes"

"Prove it"

"Before this day ends, you'll get your proof"

"Okay, when I get back from work I want your proof"

"You're still going to work?"

"Khushi, the 2 lakh you just spend yesterday needs to be payed off, and if I dont go to work, I am sure I'll be bankrupt within a month with shopping habits like yours"

And with that he started getting dresssed, as Arnav walked out the door, Khushi made a promise to herself, Arnav was going to regret going to work today.

Khushi was pacing the room, she still hadnt figured out a plan to make Arnav regret going to work today, there was a knock on the door bringing Khushi out of her thoughts, Khushi went and opened the door,

"Yes, Di?"

"Khushi, you're family has come to meet you downstairs"

Khushi's eyes widened in all this mess she had forgotten about her family and their reaction to her running away,

"Crap"

"What happened Khushi?"

"Errr, Di, could you tell them to wait?"

"Sure"

"I'll be down in some time"

"Okay and Arnav is already downstairs"

"What but I thought he had gone to work?"

"Well he was about to leave when your parents came so he decided to stay"

"Oh"

Khushi didnt know why but the thought of Arnav being there with her made her feel safe, she knew now her parents couldnt take her away, he was there to protect her and with that belief she headed downstairs.

Arnav saw Khushi standing at the stairs, he could see she was nervous, the way she was wringing her hands together, he couldnt believe his usually head-strong and stubborn wife was nervous.

"We want our daughter back"

"Thats not possible, she's married to me"

"You took her without our permission, she hasnt finished her studies yet"

"Father, why are you lying to them?"

"Shutup Khushi, Havent I taught you not to interupt when two people are talking?"

"I will not tolerate you talking to my wife like that"

"She is my daughter and I will speak to her how I wish"

"In this house she is my wife, and you will speak to her how I want you to"

"Khushi, get your things you are coming with us"

Her father stood up and walked towards her and took hold of her hand,

"But I am married now, so dont I have to stay here?"

*Slap*

Khushi looked up at her father, her hand on her cheek where her father's hand had been a second ago,

"How many times have I told you not to back answer?"

Her father raised his hand again but this time was stopped by Arnav,

"How dare you touch my wife? GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE BEFORE I FORGET YOU ARE ELDER TO ME"

"Mr.Raizada, I will be back I wont let you win so easily"

And with that he walked out, Arnav turned to look at Khushi expecting tears in her in eyes instead he saw Khushi grinning widely,

"You know Raizada if you hadnt interfered I would have given my father an earful for daring to touch me but you saved me the breath"

"Thanks" and with that she leaned forward and pecked his cheek,

"You never fail to surprise me wife"

"I am afterall Khushi Gupta"

"Raizada, wife, Raizada, you are a Raizada now"

"Havent we discussed that before? I am not Raizada until you prove to be my ideal hus..."

"I am going to work wife"

"What? You're still going to work?"

"Yes, you havent done anything special for me to change my mind"

And with that he walked out the front door leaving a furious Khushi behind,

"Raizada, you will regret going to work today" and with that she stormed up to their room.

Arnav looked up to see Khushi standing infront of him,

"What the heck are you doing here wife?"

"I am your wife, cant I come to your office?"

"Er, you can but I didnt expect you here after morning"

"Learn to expect the unexpected with Khushi Gupta around"

"Raizada"

"Anyways, what are you doing?"

"Working?"

"On?"

"A new design"

"Oh"

A few minutes passed in silence,

"Why are you really here Khushi?"

"Um, I want to go out, Cam called today and asked me out for a date"

Arnav clenched his fist, this Cam was surely very annoying.

"Didnt you guys breakup?"

"We did, but then he says he misses me and its a no strings attached date"

"Did you tell him you are happily married and living with your husband?"

"I am not happily married"

"Well then you will be soon, once you start listening to me"

"Cant I go and just have coffee with him?"

"No, if you want to have coffee you'll have it with me"

"As if thats any fun"

"You want to have fun while drinking coffee?"

"Well, its always fun with Cam, I mean the way he keeps holding your hand and the way he kisses"

Arnav's body tensed, he gritted his teeth as the image of his Khushi kissing some other man came to his mind,

"Stop Khushi, I do not need details of what you and Cam did"

"He was a great kisser you know, the way he..."

"STOP KHUSHI"

"What it's the truth, he was by far the best kisser"

"You haven't kissed me yet"

"No one can beat him, he's the only who has met my criteria"

"You have a criteria?

"Ofcourse dont you?"

"Er, yeah but not the type you have"

"Well, I can bet you dont fit in my criteria"

"Oh really" he got up from his chair and walked towards Khushi,

Khushi took a step forward, Arnav leaned towards her,

"Wife, I am going to change all your thoughts regarding Cam, after this you wont even remember his name"

And then his lips were on hers, as his arms caught hold of her waist and pulled her closer, her fingers found his hair, pulling him closer, and then just as it had started, it ended, Arnav rested his forhead against her's as Khushi said,

"Well, Raizada you arent so bad, a little more practice and you'll match up to my standards" and with that she pulled herelf out of his embrace and walked out his office leaving a very stunned Arnav behind.

"And oh before I go, we'll have kissing lessons starting tonight, so come home early husband, you have a lot to practice for'

It was 3 pm and Arnav hadnt been able to do any work, the thought of Khushi's lips against his, had been haunting him, he had been a damned fool not to listen to Khushi, if only he had listened to her, he could be kissing her now, not fantasizing about it.If only his ego would permit him to go home, but then Khushi would win this round and he couldnt let that happen,

He looked at the clock once again and groaned, there were still 6 hours left till he went back home.

Devi Maiyya laughed at Arnav's state "Poor boy, you need to learn twice before you speak boy, because you're words will get you into a lot of trouble from your wife here, if only you'd listened to her you would have been having fun"

PLUS THIS UPDATE IS VERY LONG, ALMOST 6 PAGES IN WORD, and my font is like 11,AND this update is also there because I have bad news, due to exams and me going on a vacation I will not be updating till 15th June , I may be back earlier, it all depends, so enjoy:)
