"Jiji what happened?? why are you crying??? calm down. Jiji I can't understand even a word that you are saying"
"WHAT?? You did what??? Oh my god!! Are you crazy. Why would you do something like that? Ok stop crying, calm down. Try to remember where you threw it"
"How can you not remember. First, breathe. Drink some water. Stop crying and try to remember. Does jiju know?"
"So jiju is not there!!! What!!! No jiji I'm not coming there right now!!! Jiji NO!!!"
Khushi really didn't want to meet Arnav now. Going to Raizada house could possibly mean meeting him. Let him go on a date which whoever he wants to go, why should she care. Stupid, spoiled, arrogant, self centered guy!!! Hate him to the core! She just didn't want to go to her arch-nemesis's house. So occupied was she is her thoughts that she forgot that her jiji was on the other side of the phone going into hysterics!!
"KHUSHI!!!! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO A WORD I'M SAYING"
"haan jiji, I'm listening"
"Don't you think you are over reacting... it's hardly a matter of life and death"

Khushi was standing in the middle of the Raizada garden with a hysterical Payal who was also crying like her life s going to end right now. Akash is in a meeting, Arnav still hasn't returned and others went to a pooja.
In a fit of anger after a huge fight with Akash who left soon afterwards Payal had flung her 10Lakh rupees worth diamond ring , which Akash had lovingly gifted her, somewhere in the garden and couldn't find it.
The Raizada garden was the most heavenly place ever. Decorated with Lilies, Daffodils, Tulip, Roses and various types of flowers one could lose themselves there at any time of the day. She had heard from Anjali Di that Chotte really took an interest in the garden. She had wondered how guy can take care of a garden so passionately, she hadn't known that it was Arnav then. Now that she knew she found it a little hard to believe, it totally didn't go with his personality.

"Does they know that you are still here?" Khushi asked Payal
"No they don't and I don't want them to know about my stupidity. What will they think about me?"
"hmm good thinking. Can you point out at which direction you threw the ring"
"This way, no I think it was this way"
"Jiji!! those two are completely different directions"
"Well I wasn't actually thinking at that moment , was I? I was really angry so I closed my eyes and threw it hard." Payal said sheepishly.
"Ugh Jiji who does that. Besides the garden is far too big with nooks and corners everywhere. There are trees and shrubs where it can get lost"
Seeing Payal's eyes swarming with tears again Khushi tried to calm the situation.
"So it's here somewhere. We know that right. We will find it soon. Lets split up. You start searching over there and I'll start searching here. Don't worry jiji we can do it"

"I don't think we can do it" Khushi said after thirty minutes of intense searching. She had cuts on different places of her hands from thorns, her knees were swollen from walking on all four. She was tired, sweating ;ike a pig but seeing tears in her jiji's eyes she decided ten minutes rest and search again. Hope Raizada's don't come back so soon.
Suddenly they heard the sound of a car coming. "Oh no!!!" they screamed simultaneously
"Hide" khushi screamed. She hid herself behind a hedge while Payal darted for a tree.
They decided if any family member came they'll silently wait for them to go inside the house and they'll silently leave. The fate of the ring could be decided later.
Closing her eyes she prayed that it was just a passing car.
"What are you doing"
Khushi actually jumped out of her skin hearing that voice. She opened her eyes to see Arnav crouched beside her looking at her with a comical smile.
"What are you doing?" again he asked...
"How did you know I was hiding here"
"I saw you run on all fours and hide over here. Pus your car is outside so I knew you were here. And your head was also sticking out" he said grinning all the way.
"And I also say Payal running behind that tree" Arnav shouted and Payal came out.
"care to tell me what you guys were doing??"
"Well" said payal, started crying and told him the whole story.
"Three is better than two. If we search together more chances of finding the ring. We shouldn't waste more time"
They started searching again. Arnav came beside khushi and started searching with her.Both of them were on their hands and knees searching for the ring. Arnav's hands accidentally brushed over hers sending shiver down her spine. She became breathing heavily. But when it happened a third and a forth time she wasn't so sure if it was accidental or not.
They were searching among flowers now and Arnav suddenly broke the stem of a flower and tucked it behind her ear moving a loose tendril of hair which had fallen on her forehead. The smell of the flowers around them had created a very romantic atmosphere and Khushi couldn't help but look at his luscious lips.
Suddenly Arnav noticed something gleaming. It was the ring!! Payal screamed in happiness and ave them a group hug.
Khushi started following Payal to leave when Arnav pulled her back by her arms "Where do you think you are going? I want to talk with you about something"
Just then Payal came back "Khushi come quickly na. I want to go home. I'm exhausted and sweaty"
"Later" Khushi said to Arnav. Give him a sweet smile and left behing Payal.
She'd definitely remember this day for a long long time.

All she wanted to do was forget this day. It sucked big time.
She was standing in a mall with La trying on dresses after dresses for the dance. La had dragged her here to try on dresses all the while yapping about how cute/handsome/sexy Arnav was. How his lipps looked and she wished he'd make a move at this dance. If he didn't probably she would herself, La chuckled.
She recalled how Arnav had asked her to the dance and she had sayed yes.
Don't get La wrong she is a real sweet girl and Khushi's best friend. She was just talking about her crush.
La chose a really sexy dress for herself which made her look really gorgeous and chose a red gown for Khushi which made her look exquisite.
"Girl you'll make all guys go completely fida on you. They won't be able to recognize you. I'm sure all of them will notice you in the dance and ask you out on dates"
"Thats exactly my point. I'm not that comfortable La. Plus it's way too expensive"
"It's not like you buy a dress everyday Khushi. I know you can afford this. If you don't I'll buy it for you. A gift from me"
"Ok Ok baba I'm buying it. Don't spoil me with anymore gifts"
La just chuckled.
"Khushi help me choose another dress please. An elegent one. Also a little traditional"
"What for?"
"Oh didn't I tell you Arnav had also invited me to your sister's wedding as his date"
Khushi didn't know why but that thought hurt her a lot. More than probably the dance.
