Hey guys! This is Radhika, back again with the sequel of Woh Insaan Jiskeliye Dil Dhadakta hai, as promised. This again is the story of Maan and Geet depicting the blind trust and amount of love they have on each other that is capable of withstanding any number of tornadoes and hurricanes that comes in their way. Please read its prequel before reading this story or as it is unnecessary to say that you won't be understandind what is happening here. Hehe! Okay enough of nonsense. Let me start this story or might find you all snoring heavily when I actually start to narrate the story. Here is the link to its prequel :)
The Invincible!
CHAPTER 1
The transpired...
Maan was wondering what exactly had happened at the hotel. He was extremely glad that Geet escaped from the mess but was itching to know how she did it. He was pondering whether to ask her or not when Geet came and sat beside him, giving him his black coffee and hugging him sideways.
'Kya hua Maan? Pareshan dikhrahe ho? Any problem?' she enquired, a little worried…
'Nahi mishu…koi problem nahi hai…' Maan answered unconvincingly, with hesitation in his eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Geet, who understood what he was thinking.
'Aap yahi soch rahe ho na ki main zinda kaise bach gayi?' she asked, smiling.
Maan turned towards her with absolute disbelieving expression on his face. How on earth can she tell what he was thinking so accurately? He was staring at her open mouthed, like an idiot. Geet smiled and snapped his mouth closed with her index finger.
'Yeh poochne keliye aap itna kyun pareshan horahe hai…main jaanti hoon aap yeh sawaal kyun karna chahte…you are silent because you are not getting the right way to ask it without offending me, right?'
'Geet…how can you say it so accurately? Kaise samamjhti ho mujhe itna?' asked Maan incredulously.
'Yeh kya baat hui Maan, kya shareer apni aatma ko nahi samajhta…I am the body, you are the soul Maan. Main aapko na samjhu toh aur kaun samjhega?' Geet asked in mock anger and Maan embraced her from behind, kissing her shoulders.
'Solly mishu…main bilkul gadha hoon…kuch bhi nahi samajhtha…'he pleaded.
'Haaw!' Geet said in mock anger…'How dare you call my Maan a donkey?' she exclaimed to which Maan laughed and kissed her hair.
'Achcha baba…I am sorry…pata nahi chal raha tha tumse yeh sawaal kaise poochu…it is a very rude question mishu…lekin main jaanna chahta hoon inn sab ki peeche kaun hai…' he admitted.
Geet turned around and cupped his face 'I know…mujhe bura nahi lagega agar mujhse aap aise sawaal poochenge kyun ki main jaanti hoon mere zinda rehne se aap ko kaisa laga hai…I can feel how much you have endured in these days…mujhe bura nahi lagta…waise main hi aapko batana chahti thi ki uss raat hotel main kya hua…'
The night of the bomb blast:
Geet was feeling extremely stupid to have come to this without-head-and-tail party. She didn't understand anything happening around her. Her heart and mind was back in the mansion, with her Maan, who had developed strong cough and cold and was suffering.
'Kaha aagayi hoon main…kya kar rahi hoon yaha pe…babaji…aap ne mujhe kaha phasa diya. Iss hotel ko bhi aaj hi inaugurate hona tha? Waha Maan bechare kya kar rahe honge? Aur main yaha par…' she babbled, looking up.
Sitting on her table, feeling extremely bored, she started playing with her rubber band when she felt a hand on hers and looked up to see Rahul Narayan, the CEO of Chopra firms in front of her, highly drunk and ogling at her shamelessly.
She snapped her hand out of his and stood up with digust in her eyes. Stepping a foot back, she muttered 'Aap? Aap yaha kya kar rahe hai…'
'Darling…kyun itni bhadak rahi ho…' Rahul mumbled, grinning like an idiot. Geet was getting highly inrritated. She tried to move away from him when he blocked her by holding her shoulders. Geet started struggling when he came near her and breathed into her face, washing her with a stong smell of dirty alcohol, making her wrinkle her nose. 'Suna tumhari shaadi hogayi…woh Maan Singh Khurana se…aakhir jaal mein phasa hi diya usse…' he said with an evil glint in his eyes.
Geet got really angry and said 'Mister, apne hadd mein rehna seekhiye' and pushed him away from her and started walking when he caught up with her again 'agar Maan se shaadi kar sakti ho toh tum mere saat waqt kyun nahi bita sakti…akhir main bhi tumhare pati jaise hi hoon…' he said coating the word pati with heavy sarcasm which wasn't missed by Geet.
Slapping him hard on his face, Geet said with gritted teeth 'khabardar jo mere aur Maan ke rishte ke baare mein aise cheap baate kahi toh…samajhte kya hai aap apne aap ko? Stay in your limits and don't ever try to come near me. You are lucky that Maan is not here otherwise you would have lost all your bones today, trying to misbehave with his wife' and stormed out of hotel, without taking any of her belongings in anger.
'Dekha babaji…ek shaadi shuda ladki se kaise baat karta hai…nalayak…abhi jaakar Maan ko batati hoon…nahi Geet…Maan ko mat bata…pata chala gusse mein aakar sach mein uska khoon karde toh? Na baba na…Geet tu isse yahi bhool ja…haan…' she muttered and looked down.
'Arre mera bag kaha hai?' she exclaimed in mock surprise and looked around. She was near the back gate of the hotel. 'Kahi ander to nahi chod diya maine…uss kamina Rahul ki chakkar mein apna bag laana hi bhool gayi…jaake lekar aati hoon…' she said to herself and made to go inside the hotel when a loud noise covered the air.
BOOM!
And huge glass pieces and debris showered from above, knocking Geet out and making her fly backwards and hit a wall with a huge force. That hit drained Geet out of all her energy and she couldn't get up because of the pain. Her eyes clouded with tears as thought of never meeting her Maan again in her life ran in her mind. All she could see at that time was the anticipating, excited eyes of her Maan waiting for her to get back to him. She had to go back to him. She just had to!
She looked up to see the whole hotel bellowing in flames and chunks of glasses and cements falling. She got up gingerly and went near when she was knocked again and fell on the floor on her side and some glasses pieces pierced her waist. She cried in pain when the glass stabbed her skin giving unbearable pain. She got up slowly, staggeringand holding the wall for support and waddled away from the hotel.
Present
Maan sat still after Geet had finished narrating her experience. He was torn between anger and gratitude at the same time for that bloody fool Rahul Narayan. He didn't know what to think about him. Should he get angry that he misbehaved with his wife or thankful that he actually helped his Geet in coming back to her love?
Looking up at the ceiling, he closed his eyes in respect to thank mishu's babaji for keeping his Geet out of danger and sending her back to his arms. He shuddered to think what would have happened if that Rahul didn't irritate her on time…'Rest in peace, Rahul…even though you misbehaved with my Geet, you helped her out of that mess…I have to be thankful to you for the sacrifice you have done for me without your knowledge…thanks…' he thought.
Geet was staring at her mannu with a shrewd expression on her face. She narrowed her eyes and poked him on his shoulder. He jerked out of his condolences session and looked at her suspiciously and raised an eyebrow, asking her what.
Geet kept on staring at him until Maan finally got annoyed and asked her 'kya hua? Aankhein phad phad ke kyun dekh rahi ho?'
'Kuch nahi…main bas soch rahithi aap bohot weird behave kar rahe hai…' she answered trying very hard not to laugh at his expression.
'Main or weird? Main kya weird behave kar rahatha?' Maan countered in mock anger.
'Woh…' she said before hitting him on his head and running away. That was when Maan realized she had played a very smart prank on him and ran behind chasing her…

Thank u so much people for waiting so long :) I hope I lived up to your expectations in this update! I don't believe in heavy drama sequences or something, which is why the bomb blast scene is written in a very simple way :) That is the reason why I ended Ehsaas sacha pyaar ka mid way...I hope you will like it :) please do comment and like :) This happened in just a day then why did Geet take almost 4 days to go back home, this question might be haunting you...I will clear it soon :)
