Part 1:

Payal could notice some ackwardness between the two.. But how can this be? It was the first time they met.. So why were they behaving as if they knew each other from long?

The entire time he spent in the party he was either giving angered looks to his father or was on his call on bluetooth. Khushi was all the time with her so called Uncle Aarav Malik. She was getting introduced to many handsome guys in the party by Arnav's dad. And no doubt Arnav felt thorns pricking his heart. He was talking to a friend of his in the party when Arnav's dad made Khushi meet a guy called Nikhil. He was yet another business tycoon and looked a decent guy.. Arnavs ears were on them..

Arnav's Dad: Nikhil.. Remember I told you about Khushi. Here she is.

Khushi : Hi Nikhil.. Uncle told me a lot about you.. Nice to see someone actually getting into grounds and helping financing the NGO's. Good work.

Nikhil: Thanks Khushi. Well this is just a part of my life.. Well So you help Uncle in his business right?

Khushi: Yeah I do.. I am his personal Secretary.. (She said smiling at Arnav's dad)

Arnav was fuming.. He didnt knew why.. What was he angry for? No idea.. The party was over and Arnav started for his car. He saw his dad and Khushi driving back from the party.. He too sat inside his Lexus with Anjali, Akash , Nani, Payal and Shyam.

Everyone were quite when Payal spoke..

Payal: Arnav.. How did you find Khushi?

Arnav: What The..!! Be specific Payal .. What do you mean?

Payal: You and Khushi.. Have you met before? I mean you both looked at each other as if you knew each other from long..

Anjali: Payal.. NO need to ask him.. What will he tell.. I will tell you..

Arnav: Di.. Dont start it now.. Please..

Anjali: Chotte, Payal is your Bhabhi. She too needs to know what had happened in the past.. Please..

Arnav kept quiet and Anjali started telling her the history..

Anjali: 2 years back, dad had brought Khushi's marriage proposal to Chotte..

Payal: What?? Really? Khushi and Arnav?

Anajli: Yes..

Payal: I see.. So you mean Arnav denied..

Anjali: No.. He didnt deny. The engagement was fixed and it was the engagement day when we were waiting for him to return from his so called Office. We got a call from him saying that he is at the Aiport leaving for Sydney.

Payal: What? Then?

Anjali: He never wanted to get married to her.. And so he left for Sydney.. Came back after 2 months..

Payal: Arnav.. Thats bad.. I mean why did you say Yes for the marriage then?

Anjali: For hurting Dad.. He knew Shashi Uncle (Khushi's father) is his best friend and so he wanted Dad to feel sorry in front of all.. So he did..Which was truely wrong..

Payal: But Arnav what was wrong with Khushi. Why did you do this to her?

Arnav: She was Dad's Choice.. And thats what she deserved..

Anjali: Chotte.. I still feel bad thinking of that Enagegement Night.. Khushi was dressed in a Blue Lehnga. She looked so beautiful and after hearing that the enagegement is not happening, she was heartbroken.. I never saw her crying so badly.. And since then I have never seen her enjoying too.. Yet she tries to be happy and cheerful when she is with Dad.. Cant believe Shashi Uncle forgave Dad and they are still good friends..

Arnav: Di I dont wish to talk on this anymore..

They reached Home and Arnav was restless.. He heard what his Di had told him about the Engagement night.. He didnt care though.. What Khushi felt was none of his business.. He didnt want her anytime in his life.. He met her first time after 2 years today and he didnt know why he was so much even thinking about her...

The next day Arnav was ready for his Office. But before he went to his own Office, he had some work with his Dad too.. Strictly professional.. Otherwise he didnt even wanted to see him. He drived straight to "Malik's Mansion" where his dad lived. This house had memories of his childhood which he never wished to remember.. This was after 2 years again that he was entering this house. He parked his car and rang the bell. The servant opened the door and he came in.

Arnav: Where is Dad?

Servant: He is in his room getting ready for Office..

Without much words he started for his dad's room. The door was open and he saw her.. She was tieing the Tie to his Dad.. She was wearing a light blue chudidar and she looked gorgeous... Wait.. Why was he even looking at her? Khushi and his Dad didnt knew he had come and seeing them from the door..

Khushi: Uncle.. It happens sometime.. Even my Dad is still unable to do this. Mummy does it for him.. And well the breakfast is ready.. Omlett and Orange Juice.. Your favourite.. I will serve it.. Come down soon.. ok?

Arnav's Dad: Khushi.. You are my darling daughter.. I wish you would have been my Daughter in law..

Khushi: Uncle please...You started again? If handling you is so difficult sometimes what it would have been if I had to handle even him.. No way.. Whatever happened was for good.. Dont think so much.. I am waiting down..

She said that and turned to the door when she saw him. She immediately lowered her eyes and walked pass him leaving him alone with his dad. She knew he was here for some business purpose and she didnt wanted to disturb them..

Arnav and his dad had a talk on some financial matters and again something happened between the two.. Arnav was walking down all furious and his dad was trying to stop him.

Arnav's Dad: Arnav.. Wait.. You cannot leave the conversation unfinished.

Arnav didnt turn behind. Khushi was arranging the breakfast when she saw them. She knew something was really bad again. He came straight to her and then stopped.. He pointed his finger on her..

Arnav: You.. You care a lot for him right.. then make him understand.. never to cross my paths.. He will lose..

He had a wild rage in his eyes. If anybody would have argued more now to him, he would have killed that person. She didnt reply to him.. And he left the house.. It was like a Hurricane coming for some minutes and then the entire house was silent as before.. She came to Arnav's dad and then made him relax and sit on the chair..

Khushi: Uncle.. Just relax.. You know him.. He is always bad tempered.. You dont be upset because of him.. Ok?

Arnav's Dad: No Khushi.. You dont know him yet.. He can do anything.. when he wants ..

Khushi made him relax and then they both had their breakfast and left for Office. She worked late with him and made sure he didnt skip his meals. She was always with him just a like a good daughter. She knew he was alone. Though he visited his family in RM sometimes in weekends, he still missed staying with them. He would have stayed with them too only if Arnav wished.. And this was little too much to expect.

Awesome part... Yes i get my answeres...lol...

Hmm.. I'm very intrigued to see what caused the rift between Arnav and his father.. And how mean of Arnav to drag Khushi into his feud with his father.. He hurt her by leaving her stranded on her engagement day, when she had done nothing to harm him.. Very bad, Arnav! He will have to work hard to redeem himself..
