PART 9:

Arnav: Because ASR does not hit girls.. You get that?

Khushi.. Really Arnav? You can manhandle a girl.. But you cannot hit her? Wow.. Amazing.. ASR and his rules..Forget it.. I have no interest in talking to you..

She said that, moved to the table to pick her Purse and left the room..He saw her from the Glass window. She met NK down and dragged him out of the office. And this again pissed him..

NK: Khushi.. What happened? Are you Ok?

Khushi did not reply to him. She was crying.. He could see her tears and knew again Arnav must have told something really bad to her.. She brought him to the parking lot.

Khushi: Lets go home...

NK: Okk.. But my keys are in my cabin.. I will get them.. Just wait here.. I will be back soon..

NK said that and left for getting the keys.. Here Arnav was in no mood to continue his work at office. He too left for the parking lot to drive home..When he reched there, he saw Khushi waiting near NK's car and crying... And suddenly she was filling dizzy.. He could see her trying to hold the car door and was almost about to faint.. He rushed towards her and before she fell down her held her by his hands.. She was unconscious..

Arnav: Khushi.. Khushii.. God.. Are you ok? Open your eyes Khushi..

He patted on her cheeks but she did not move. He got panicked. He picked her in his arms and walkedtowards his Vehicle. He opened the Front seat door and made her sit. He tied her the seat belt. He immediately took his seat and started the car. He called up the family doctor now..

Arnav: Doctor, its Arnav.. Khushi is unconscious.. I am getting her to your hospital... (PAUSE) What?? where the hell are you then?? (PAUSE).. Ok.. I will take her home.. Be there in 15 mins.. Allright?

The doctor was out for some other visit and thus he asked Arnav to take Khushi to RM and he will visit them in next 15 mins. Arnav drove the vehicle with full speed. He was very scared.. why was she unconscious.. Was she weak? Why? She looked fine till evening.. What happened to her all of a sudden.. Were his words that affected her? Yes.. could be.. She was crying.. And her current state is definately due to him.. Only him..He reached RM. He got down and again picked Khushi in his arms and carried her inside. All were sitting in the Living room and they saw Arnav. All were shocked.. What had happened to Khushi? They asked Arnav many things but he didnt reply to anyone.. He just walked to his room and placed her on his bed.. Only then he uttered..

Arnav: Di.. Khushi has fainted.. I have called the doctor.. he will be here any moment.,.

He sat beside her trying to sprinkle some water on her face and also rubbing her palms.. But no effect.. She did not move at all. Her body was getting cold now.. The doctor came and asked everyone to wait outside till he checks her.. All left the room but Arnav did not.. And the doctor also did not ask him to leave knowing his current condition. He looked very tired and his eyes were only on Khushi.. Sitting next to her he just hoped she would be fine again.. The doctor examined her.

Doctor: Arnav.. She is fine.. I think she skipped her meals today and thats why she felt unsconcious.. I have given her the injection now .. Once she gets up, just give her the normal meals.. Ok?

Arnav nodded..

Doctor: One more thing Arnav.. She is also going through some stress.. It could be work stress or anything related very dear to her heart.. Her mind is weak.. Just keep her happy and being her husband I think you can also try to relieve her stress. Talk to her about it.. She needs to come out of that whatever it is.. Allright? Anything else just call me again and I will be back.. Dont worry Arnav... She will be fine..soon..

Arnav got it.. It was he himself responsible for all her stress. His words had hurted her and she took it all to her heart... He wished he could tell her he didnt mean them at all.. The last night.. was the best night yet for him.. He wanted to feel her arms again on his body and make love to her..Only if she could be fine.. Soon..

After the doctor left, everyone came inside. They asked many things to Arnav about what the doctor said. But he replied to them that she will be fine soon and asked everyone to leave him alone with her. NK by that time had reached home after he got a call from Anjali that Khushi and Arnav were at home and that Khushi had fainted.. NK too had joined the others now in Arnavs room to see Khushi. But on Arnavs command, he too left outside with everyone..

It was 10:00 at night.. When Khushi woke up. She saw Arnav sitting on the recliner.. Arnav was relaxed to see her getting up.. He rushed towards her and made her sit on his bed with her back resting on the headboard.

Arnav: Khushi.. You fine?

Khushi didnt reply.. She saw that she was in his room but how did she reach here? Only thing she remembered was she was at the parking lot.. Arnav called up his Di on her mobile and asked her to get the dinner for her.. He then came back and sat on the bed in front of her..

Khushi: How am I in your room?

Arnav: You had fainted in the parking lot. I got you home.. Did you skip your lunch today?

Khushi: Yes.. But how does it bother you Arnav?

Arnav: I dont need to explain you what bothers me and what not.. You get it?

Anjali came in with the food and saw them. Arnav stood up and Anjali sat on his place near Khushi..

Anjali: Khushi.. Aapko kaisa lag raha hai ab? Hum sab toh darr hi gaye the? Aap ab theek hai naa?

Khushi: Haan DI .. hum theek hai..

Anjali started feeding Khushi and all this time Arnav could just admire his two lady loves, sitting on the recliner.. She finished her dinner..

Khushi: Di.. Hum apne kamre mein jaake aaram karte hai..

Anjali looked at Arnav first to see his reaction on Khushi's words..

Arnav: Koi zarurat nahi hai Khushi.. Di aap jaiye.. I will call you if we need anything else..

Anjali smiled and left the room. Khushi got up and started walking towards the door.

Khushi: Hum iss kamre mein ek minute nahi rahenge.. (She was still weak and thus her immediate movements towards the door could only make her more tired and she was about to faint again. Arnav saw that and rushed again and hold her waist..making her look at him with her eyes wide open...)

Arnav: Pehle theek se chalna seekho.. aur phir bolna.. You want to go to your room right? I will drop you..

He picked her again in his arms and walked to her room.. She didnt react. She held his shoulders for support and all this time just looked in his eyes.. How can the same person be responsible for both her happiness and worries.. What does he get doing all this to her? Arnav entered her room and placed her on the bed. He pulled the quilt on her and then put off the lights.. He went to the door and closed it FROM INSIDE.. Khushi was surprised,... What was he doing? Was he going to stay with her in her room tonight again? NO way.. She got up.

Khushi: Arnav.. what is this? Why are you here? Just go back to your room .. ok?

Arnav: Khushi.. you said you do not want to stay in my room,.. Fine.. I got you here in your room.. But you cannot ask me to leave from here.. I wont go..

Khushi: What? What do you mean by that? I will not sleep till you leave.. You got that?

Arnav: Ok.. In that case I would have to make you sleep forcefully then.!!! (He said that with a Smirk)

He climbed on the bed, lied beside her and closed her mouth with his hands..

Arnav: Sshhh!! DO not shout,., I dont want others to think that I do not spare touching you even when you are ill.. So be a good girl and sleep.. You need rest.. Trust me..

Khushi could not believe that she was lying beside him in all her senses and he was in no mood to get up. He closed his eyes and placed his hand on her stomach. She shiverred... How could she manage to get some sleep when he was beside her.. She closed her eyes tightly and removed his hands from her waist and pushed him with the little strength left.. Arnav understood.. This was not the time to mess with her.. She was uncomfortable and would not get sleep if he tried being cozy with her again.. So he turned to the other side. Her heartbeats kept on beating faster the whole night.. He was so close to her on the same bed but yet there were innumerous boundaries between them... And she wished she could cross them.. She remembered how he had told her today morning that whatever happened last night was purposely done by her and this thought again made her realise that she would never ever allow herself to fall for him, her husband..

Next morning when she woke up, she first checked her bindi if it was still on her forehead.. Yes it was.. Then she looked beside her on the bed, he was not there.. May be he left her room in the morning.. She was happy.. Atleast she felt relaxed at the thought that she did not have to face him in the morning... Someone knocked at the door. She got up and opened the door to find Payal and Anjali with her breakfast. She smiled..

Payal: Khushi.. Tum theek ho naa?

Anjali: Aur Khushi.. Where is Chotte? He is not in his room..

Khushi was surprised.. If he was not in his room then where the hell was he? Suddenly they heard her bathroom door open and Arnav came out on his trousers and white towel on his shoulders..

Anjali and Payal were tongue tied.. And our Khushi was all again about to Faint knowing that they were caught together yet again in the same room..Anjali held Khushi before she could fall down.. Arnav rushed to her and picked her but not moving to the bed yet.. He was still in front of Anjali and Payal standing with Khushi in his arms..

Arnav: How many times do I need to tell you Khushi.. Take some rest.. You cant you listen to me Once? Di.. please keep the breakfast here.. I will feed her.. And Payal can you please remove some dress for Khushi from her closet so that she can change?

Khushi: What? Change? Are you going to help me with that too?? (SHe asked shockingly)

Arnav: Yes.. If you dont mind..

Anjali and Payal could not believe what they were seeing and what they heard..They smiled looking at each other..

Khushi: No Way.. I can have bath myself.. I dont need your help..

Arnav: What if you faint inside? I cant risk you alone in Allright?

He said that moving to the bed and made her sit. She was unable to understand why he is so much concerned for her? Why ? All after that she could see was Arnav moving to her closet and removing her towel and placing it in the Bathroom. Anjali and Payal could not help but leave the room laughing and definately whatever has happened today they would be broadcasting it to the entire family down...
