Part: 16

Arnav opened the car's door for Khushi to make her sit in the passenger seat beside him and he drove off to the restaurant.

He pulled the chair for her and sat opposite to her admiring her beauty again. She was wearing a black saari contracted with her white skin. She was waering a light make-up; the kajal enhanced the beauty of her hazel eyes, the lip gloss was pink as her luscious lips. She looked at him and blushed at the way he was staring at her; it sent shivers down her spine. She nervously looked around taking the grand decorations of the restaurant.

Khushi cleared her throat making him realize what he was doing.

"Shall we ask for dinner?"He aksed and hse nodded in approval. Arnav decided to tell her after the dinner.

They had the dinner and each one asked the other about the day and its events then he felt like telling her the news.

"Khushi," He called her and she knew there was something he was hesitant to talk about. He held her hand in his and looked at her in the eye.

"Yes, arnav. I'm listening." She encouraged him.

"Oh!...good...she's working with her friend...good that you gave her the chance..."

"Are you ok with that, sweetheart?"

"Yes..why won't I be?" She nodded, 'I trust you, Arnav and this is enough to assure me,' she aded mentally. Though she ddin't like it, but she couldn't just object for some fears or hesitations.

They spent some time chatting together and left for home at 10:30 p.m.

Though it was late, the family was gathered in the living room chatting and having sweets and Sheetal was with them. This was the sight which welcomed Arnav and Khushi once they returned. Arnav felt happy; how much he loves it when they're together happily and Khushi too was glad. Since Arnav was happy, she too was.

Arnav and Khushi joined them for some time and when they started leaving to their respective rooms, Sheetal called Arnav.

"Arnav, I just want to speak with you for some time."

"I'll some soon." He told Khushi and nodded reassuring her before he joined Sheetal.

The way she was sitting and keeping her hair aside to show her bare shoulders was seductively and Arnav Singh Raizaada knew that, but didn't give it a damn.

"You know Arnie, I've just joined AR and I want to ask about some things."

"Yes, go ahead."

"Just give me a minute; I want to bring some file Aman gave it to me." With that she left.

When she returned he noticed that her dress was wet on her knees and drops of water on her shoulder, but he didn't say anything about that. He explained to her all whar she had to do in AR then left to his room.

Khushi was lying on the bed looking in deep thought of something, he approched her and sat beside her form. He stratched his arm to touch her when she started shouting, "Don't touch me!"

"Khushi?!" And he tried again.

"Arnav, I told you. Don't come close to me!"

"What happened? Are you angry with me?"

"Just stay away." He got up from the bed and stood near it. Confusion was clearly visible on his face's expressions.

"Is it about Sheetal?"

"It's about me." She lowered her tone.

"Khushi, tell me. What's the matter?"

"I don't understand anything, Arnav. When you tried to touch me, I don't know what happened to me that I suddenly started screaming. Please don't force me." She said the last senetence pleadingly.

"Ok. Just relax. I'll'," he looked around, "I'll sleep on the recliner." He lied there looking at her.

"Take some rest." She lied on the bed shocked with her behaviour. She didn't want that; she was craving to be in his embrace, to feel safe. AT the beginning, Arnav thought it's about Sheetal, but when he thought of that, he was sure His Khushi doesn't do that and they had already discussed that.

"Good...Now I'll see for how much you'll tolerate her behaviour. My work starts now." She laughed evilly.

Nice update.
Hahaha kushi is on mission I think.
Sheetal is just a cheepo... Whatever she will try arnav will not fall on her.
