He buried himself in the crook of her neck and pressed himself closer to her.

Her chin rested on his shoulder as her arms wound around his neck.

Nothing more mattered to the either of them.After staying in each other's embrace,the broke off.

Maan cupped her face and placed a deep kiss on her forehead. And smiled at her.She placed her head on his chest and they walked inside the house.

Vicky stared at the scene with his mouth hung open.

He blinked his eyes.

The hug..It was SO REALISTIC!!

Deep inside his heart he was satisfied that Maan would never hurt his bhabi but he was still scared.Vicky didn't know for how long he stood in the lawn of the Khurana Mansion.

He reached for the crumbled paper in his pocket and read its contents.

..I lost everything today.The love of my life doesn't trust me.I hate to live anymore..Why can't anyone be with me??I wish Maan understood me better..

Vicky's eyes blurred with tears. It was the last letter Ragini had written before she died.The same burning feeling of anger and hatred killed him inside.Geet and he had found this letter exactly two weeks ago when they were cleaning Ragini's room.

He desperately wanted to show Maan what it meant when there's no one beside you when you need them the most.

Crushing the paper in his hand,Vicky threw it in the dustbin and said to himself aloud,"I am sorry dadima.But I am going to do everything that can separate Geet bhabi from that monster.

Maan and Geet entered the house and Maan immediately held her hand tight and said,"Gee...tt..Don't leave me..alone..in this darkness Okay?"

Geet chuckled and said,"Maan aap bhi nah,bahuth girly hai"

When Maan was about to retort,the lights were on and several voices shouted,"Surprise!!"

Annie came forward and hugged her brother again and said,"Welcome back bhai!"

Maan patted her head and said,"Thank you."

He looked around and was quick enough to spot the familiar faces of annie's friends,Adi.Sasha,Tasha,Jai,Preeti,Pinky..

Maan said with his hands inside his pocket,"Thank you for the wonderful surprise guys but Geet and I have to go somewhere"

"Oohh!"the crowd shouted causing Geet to turn red.

Maan chuckled and said,"we are going to see someone very important.We'll come back okay?Till then you guys carry on."

"aise kaise bhai..Welcom party aap ke liye hai..aur aap.."annie trailed off feeling sad.

Maan moved front and held annie's shoulder with a lot of hesitation and said,"anvi,I will try to come back soon,okay?"

Annie nodded as Maan and Geet walked towards the car garage.

Maan went towards his blue Ferrari and was about to open the door to sit in when Geet said,"You look tired Maan.Let me drive"

Her words shocked Maan.

"WHAT?you actually know to drive?"he asked.

"Hello,Mister,I am a race car champion,mind it!"she replied crossing her arms over her chest.

Maan grinned at gave the car keys to Geet and sat in the passenger seat.

"Annie You're very lucky yaar"Giselle said.

"Why?"she asked.

"I mean,your bro is now talking to you..Isn't that Great!"Belle added dreamily.

Annie smiled and said,"I wish bro and bhabi stay together always"

Maan and Geet had now reached a deserted part of the city when the car stopped.

"Wow!"Maan said as he rested his head with one arm behind.

"What?"Geet asked irritatedly.

"Don't tell me you don't read rom-com novels?"he asked alarmed.

"rom-com?what does that mean?"she asked him.

Maan's eyes widened with shock.

After all,whose eyes wouldn't?For the first time in his life,Maan was talking to a girl who did not know what rom-com means.

He blinked his eyes and said,"Geet..It's romantic Comedy..Rom-com"

"Oh!I never read those kind of books.I am more into Percy Jackson and Sherlock Homes"

It took Maan a few seconds to come out of the shock.

He slowly asked,"Geet,then why did thecar stop?"

"Because I did"she replied coolly.

"What??why did you?"

"Stupid!Look there are two ways!Whick should I take?Right or Left!"she asked now terribly angry at his idiotic questions.

Maan focussed on the road and said,"Take the Right"

He missed it!!He missed Geet's face turning pale!!

At last,Geet and Maan reached an old Haveli.

"Challein Geet?"he asked.

She nodded and quietly followed him.

Geet wanted to run away from the place.The same place which haunted her day and night.She did not want to get inside.

The walls..everything was just the same way she'd seen it before!!

She slowly walked inside as she observed every detail of the house.

"Dhruv,stop it!!"she yelled at her brother.

"chutki,holi hai..bura math maano!"Dhruv replied as he continued to drench her with water.

"Dhruv ke bache..mein tujhe nahi chodungi!"Geet shouted as she grabbed a handful of color and applied all over Dhruv's face!

"GEETT!!"he roared as he chased her all around the house.

Geet's thoughts were broken when Maan touched her shoulder.

She turned around to come face-to-face with the person whom she never wanted to meet in her life!

"Geet,Meet Mr.Dhruv Handa,Senior Designing consultant,Royal Designs and Mr.Dhruv,meet my wife,Mrs.Geet Maan Singh Khurana"

Geet couldn't believe her eyes!!

Dhruv was standing there!!She did not hear what Maan said beyond the name Dhruv Handa.

"G..Geet..Iss that you?"Dhruv stuttered.

"Ek minute.Do you both know each other?"Maan asked.

Instead of Dhruv,it was Geet who answered,"No Maan,I don't know who this is."and she walked away towards the car leaving Maan confused at her sudden coldness.
