When Arnav came down after refreshing, he still couldnt believe the happenings of the day. He was smiling to himself and some people were clearing away the items in the hall and he was revisiting his thoughts on the best happening of the day, his heart was so elated with joy that he wanted to share it with someone, but knew that he couldnt do that. He suddenly saw the watch, it was 11:45 pm it was quite late to call khushi he thought. "Even if i call her, she and payal r sharing a room and she will have a lot of unwanted questions to answer." Arnav, was getting restless as the time went, he was missing Khushi tooo tooo badly. Anjali came down to see her brother smiling to himself, yet a bit restless.
Anj: Chote! what happ u seem happy as well as restless.
Ar: Nothind Di! just like that happy for Akash, hope things were to ur satisfaction too and I hope everyone enjoyed the party.
Anj: Haan! it was wonderful. I am so happy, but would've been even more if urs was also combined.
Ar: Di!
Anj: Ok ok..im not talking about it. but im equally happy for AKash and Payal.
After a few mins, anjali started back the conversation, "Khushiji was looking very beautiful today isnt it? She is too good. I really wish she gets a nice husband who will take care of her properly.
Arnav was suddenly taken by the thought. He was wondering wat would be his Di's reaction if she heard his news. would she feel that Khushi has got a nice husband or would she feel a kadooz like Arnav for sweet and boli balli Khushi?
With the thought trailing he wished his sis and went to the sanctuary of his roo,. He was lying on his bed, Khushi never leaving his mind. He slowly caressed the bedspread where he had kissed Khushi. When he thought of that, he could feel her skin and her lips and was able to feel his passion rising. He couldnt control it anymore, he imlly wanted to talk to Khushi. He took his mob and called her number. His heard started beating fast when no one picked the phone. Suddenly he heard, "hello?" it was Payal. Before he could tell something Payal said "Yes Arnavji tell me. u had called at this time?"
Arnav didnt know what to answer, but quickly regained his composure and said, "no.no..nothing, just wanted to enquire if u ppl have reached safely and if u liked the party. Hope ur babuji is doing fine..."
Payal though felt a bit strange about Arnav asking all this, she replied timidly, "yes, v reached safely, Akash ji only dropped us and Babuji is fine, everyone is asleep and of course we enjoyed the sangeeth, it was fine, thank u."
Arnav didnt know how to pull the conversation he said, "ok then, bye take care."
while he was about to cut the call, he could hear Khushi at the backdrop in a sleepy voice,
Kh: who is it jiji? but arnav couldnt hear the reply by Payal or Khushi's reaction, Payal had placed the phone back then.
Arnav was fuming with anger, first of all, she is not picking her mobile phone and she is happily sleeping without any thoughts of me, whereas here im the one who is getting restless and not sleeping thinking of her. I will not spoil my sleep for her, im going to sleep, he said to himself and went to bed. He closed his eyes and after a very very long war with this dreams of Khushi he finally slept at 3 am.
The next day, Arnav was still asleep at 9 a.m. since he had a disturbed night and was feeling too tired from the sangeeth and sleepless night, he called Aman at 8 and told him to take care of things and that he will not be turning in today and to call him only on emergency. He passed the msg to his Di also and continued to sleep. Khushi came to RM with a blooming smile on her face. Though at the corner of her mind she kept asking herself, "was he intoxicated sday or was everything true? will he act like ASR now? Hey Devi Maiyaa, help me" she was chanting her prayers and was walking in the hallway when Anjali was standing and smiling at her.
Anj: Kya hua Khushiji, u r saying your prayers, anything wrong? by the looks of u there doesnt seem to be anything wrong? u look different today, something has changed in u but im not able to put my finger exactly what has changed.
Anjali kept looking at Khushi who starting blushing, "was it so obvious" she thought to herself.
Kh: Nothing Anjali ji, im coming from the temple so im happy.
Anj: Oh ok! come on Khushiji lets start with the preparations for the mehendhi. V r absolutely going ot enjoy it.
Khushi followed Anjai, but her eyes were all around the house searching for her Arnav.
When they entered the breakfast table. Everyone except Arnav were seated there. Khushi felt a sharp stab of dissapointment.
Anj: Come one Khushiji lets have breakfast first and then start.
Kh: No Anjali ji, i've had my breakfast, u carry on.
NK: Oh hi Khushiji, come join us for breakfast, wat a breakfast it would be with u sitting beside me wow!
Khushi just smiled and ignored his comment, she was in sucha dilemma how to ask and whom to ask where Arnav is, she decided to keep quiet for sometime until someone come up on their own. Her prayers were answered.
Nani: Anjali bitiya where is Chote?
Anj: He is sleeping Nani. today he is not going to office, he said he is very tired and told me not to disturb him.
Khushi though relieved that he was at home, felt disappointed that she could not see him.
