First of all ... a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who liked and followed this Story .
Although initially apprehensive about the reaction , I am glad to have posted it here .

I had promised to update soon , but work and more work kept me busy 😭😭 ... So apologies to anyone who expected it soon . Anyways ... not wasting more time , here comes part 3 ...

PART 3 :

All Arnav could make out was that she had pretty long hair which she had tied in a pony and her structure ,her voice reminded him of Khushi Kumari Gupta .

Arnav just stared at the two figures on bikes on their either side. They had joined midway thru the ride. "Mr.Raizaada …. I think you should not strain your hand too much right now ….. you are shifting too much towards your left which would definitely strain your broken left hand ", said Colonel Rathod. Arnav just nodded at him sensing that this man knew what he was telling. They reached the main gates of the academy, where they moved into another jeep .Although he moved into the new vehicle without a question , he looked quizzically at Colonel. Once at the entrance of the office ,sensing Arnav's confusion, "Hume dhoondne mai un logon ko zyaada takleef nahi hua …. So … my daughter just sent the car for combing for bugs", he replied. Arnav couldn't stop himself from blurting, "Combing ??? Bugs ?? " . "Chief ka matlab hai …. Checking for bugs or what you can lamely call - tracking devices", replied Vicky.

"Oh !! Vicky !!! …. Tum yeh sab details inhe andar bhi bata sakte ho …. Btw …. Kaha hai woh ?? ",asked Colonel. "well gaadi ka combing toh woh khud kar rahi hai ….. I guess , she is with Ash …. Meanwhile she was trying to figure out the solution in the injection " , replied Vicky . Arnav just stared back at the guy, who was rugged , strong and was handsome . He could make a great model if he wanted to , thought Arnav. "Oh !! Excuse me ….. I forgot my manners ….. This is Special Service Agent . Vikram Khanna …. Urff Vicky ….. and Vicky this is ",said Colonel . "Mr.Arnav Singh Raizaada… " ,replied Vicky coolly . Arnav stretched his right hand and said ,"Pleased to meet you Mr.Khanna " . "Call me Vicky ….. and frankly …. You shouldn't be pleased to meet people like us ", said Vicky. "What the …",was all Arnav could tell . "Because , meeting a person like me on duty means , your life is in danger and that is definitely not a pleasant situation for normal people like you ",said Vicky. "Normal ?? and me ?? I am Arnav Singh Raizaada ",thought Arnav .

"Well boys …. I guess we could discuss all these matters later in the evening. Btw Mr.Raizaada , you need to go to the hospital wing for your tests and treatment, since we do not trust the doctors who prescribed your medicines before. We have your complete medical history with us and don't worry , we have specialists better than the ones in those City hospitals .After which , you can join your family at the guesthouse, which is in the academy . "said Colonel. "My family ?? here ?? ",asked a confused Arnav . "Yes , yeh unki protection ke liye hai …… kaha tha na maine ?? ……. My daughter's plans are almost airtight", he said and instructed a cadet to accompany Arnav to the hospital wing and make sure to lead him to the guest quarters.

Arnav spent the next couple of hours goin thru one test or another at the hospital. The doctor although pleasant wasn't a man of many words . He took samples of his blood and urine and sent them for tests. After what seemed like hours , finally the doctor spoke to Arnav looking at his reports, " Mr.Raizaada , I do not know who treated you during this accident , but from the looks of it, he definitely is not your friend . We shall discuss the details during the meeting at Chief's table tonight. But before that I shall administer you a set of new drugs , taking care of your diabetes and your injuries.I must caution you ,since you have diabetes , your injuries would take a little bit more time to heal, but be assured that you will be fine in no time. ". Arnav just nodded at the new information placed infront of him.It was pretty weird that nothing was surprising for him now, since the attempt on his life. The doctor gave him a couple of injections and medicines and he was escorted to the nutritionist at the academy, who made a diet plan for him. Next he went to the physiotherapist who checked his fresh X-rays and told him his exercise routine to be followed after 4 weeks. Later he was escorted to the guest quarters by the cadet. "don't you guys speak much here ?? " , he asked the cadet . "Not while on duty sir. It is part of our conduct to not speak more than required to strangers , since we do not know them and we cannot trust them", replied the cadet. Arnav gave a bewildered expression to the cadet. "Please do not be offended sir. This is the way we are trained to be and we chose this . ".

They reached the quarters and the cadet punched a code to the machine next to the door bell ,after which the door opened. Arnav saw his worried family huddled in the sitting area. They glanced at him and Anjali and Aakash were the first to rush and hug him. "Sir .. Ma'am …. Please note that MR.Raizada is still injured and it would be better if you didn't put more pressure on him.", the cadet told Anjali and Aakash who were flustered at their illogical behavior. "Sir, (turning to Arnav) , we expect you to be at the Chief's study at 7:30 , which is 4 hours from now . I shall escort you to his study . Also , although this place is more than secure , we advice you not to open the windows . They are bulletproof .We are just making sure that you are provided with utmost protection. Also , for your convenience we have set your fingerprints as the password for opening the main doors of this house. Please just press the buzzer if you need anything. " ,saying which the cadet nodded at Arnav and left.

Arnav spoke to his family for an hour and decided to take a small nap after lunch. He appreciated the food , since he was having food which tasted like home food after a gap of 3 days . At 7:15 the cadet came to escort Arnav to the Chief's study . Arnav entered the study to find Col.Rathod ,Vicky and a girl in there. Arnav nodded at Vicky who responded to him with a nod, while the girl chirped a Hi to him. "Good evening Mr.Raizaada… This is SSA Aisha Kapoor also one of our brilliant discoveries" , said Col . "Good evening Colonel. Hi Aisha" ,said Arnav . "Call me Ash !! " ,she said and sat down at her place twirling a pencil ,while Arnav settled himself on the chair next to Vicky . He noticed an empty chair, when Col looked at the chair with a frown. "She is running some tests on the solution and his blood and urine samples . Aa jaayegi woh ..",replied Aisha. "Did she have her lunch ??" , asked Colonel . "Ofcourse … waise bhi mai aur Sean aise thodi na jaane dete use…. Although we had to shove it down her throat " ,she replied making Colonel sigh. "My samples ?? ….. but why ?? " , asked Arnav. "To confirm the presence of hazardous chemicals in your system….",replied Vicky.

Suddenly the door opened and Arnav felt a familiar sensation engulf him. His heartbeats increased and his breathing was jarred. Part of him , felt stupid and he turned to look at the new entrant into the office .He felt jolted , Khushi Kumari Gupta ??? His eyes were wide open in awe, while his mouth remained open and he got up involuntarily, accidently hitting his left hand to the table."Owww …",he squealed in pain. 'Quite the reaction I expected ',thought Colonel. Khushi just glanced at him and shook her head in disregard, "I guess the doctor advised you to not shift much ",she said to him and turned to everyone and absent mindedly threw the reports she had on the table. "As expected", she said to Colonel. "Baith to jaao beta and you too Mr.Raizaada",said Colonel , smirking inside , but he micromanaged his expressions. After all he was a veteran at this.

Khushi saw Arnav not moving an inch but staring at her .She shook her head a bit and went next to him . "Tum ??(she nodded) ….. yaha ?? (she shrugged her shoulders)…. Kaise ??? (she rolled her eyes)….. What the !!" , he said ."Well that was the reaction I was waiting for !!",she said . "Although , I don't need to , I shall answer all your questions later …. After this meeting, right now you need to sit down " , she said . When he didn't budge , she held his shoulders and made him sit down. Vicky and Ash just gaped at the fact that Khushi and Arnav knew each other.

"Daddu …. Now shall we start ???",asked Khushi .
