Part 4

"SHAYM?! Did he hurt her?! What hap-" Payal exclaimed in horror.

"No No nothing like that, really. He's been lying putting the blame on Khushi and worst of all- my sister." Arnav Continued.

"WHAT?! How can he? He knows what she's been through, endless and sleepless nights. She'll just become weaker and weaker- Khushi'" She said with tears trickling down her cheeks.

A look of panic and anger struck Arnav's face

Arnav POV

How can anyone hurt my Khushi like this. HOW DARE HE. Wait'why do I keep saying MY? Anyway, I don't care about that. Payal said weaker and weaker- No. I won't let it happen. I WONT.

"Haiii..Nandikisoor! Kya hoora?!" Buaji said making her way into the room stumbling upon the situation.

"Aap? Buaba tum teek to hai na?" She turned to Arnav and then suddenly caught a glimpse of Payal's tears as well as an unconscious Khushi lying on the bed.

"Haii!!!! Kya hoowa Khushi ko?! Payala? Kya hua?!" She babbled.

"Kuch nai Buaji, Khushi isn't well. Arnavji brought her here for us." Payal whispered through tears.

"Hum abi atai- Ill just bring some medicine" Buaji continued.

"Payal. Im Sorry. I never knew-" Arnav uttered the words he rarely said 'Sorry' but it felt so easy, it was the least he could do. The least he could say.

"Arnavji don't worry its okay, you believe us now don't you?"

"Of course. I never imagined that that HE could be so-"

"Payala Wheres the medicine?!" Buaji shouted from the next room.

Payal turned to face Arnav "Hum abi atai"

Just as Payal left Khushi started awakening "Arnavji..Arnavji.."

Arnav turned to face her at the speed of lighting, he took her by the hand and stroked her gently. "Mai hoon na Khushi Mai Hoon."

Khushi's eyes opened slowly and melted straight into Arnav's gaze. (Rabba Ve')

He leaned closer and closer and whispered "I trust you" her ear.

She was took weak to respond or to even do anything and slowly her eyes began to close, Arnav tried to move back but Khushi's other hand was clutching onto his shirt. He slowly lowered down beside her and had never felt more comfortable in his life. Both of Khushi's hands were with him. Only him.

He slowly shook Khushi "Khushi, Khushi you need to get up and have medicine your sister is just bringing it."

Khushi's eyes flashes open, she was blinking fast. He held her held her hands & slowly began to sit her up just like he had done several weeks ago in Nanital.

"Arnavji.." Khushi said weakly as a few tears trickled down her cheeks.

"Khushi'" He said sweetly wiping her tears away (Rabba Ve).
