She could very well remember the last parting dialogue. She just sat there dumbfounded. Everyone was busy preparing for the last ritual of Maan. Last week they had received the news that the plane in which he was traveling to come back home to surprise geet had crashed. No one survived as it was a hilly area. Even the remains could not be found. The only things found were personal items of his luggage . Initially they had hope that maybe he survived.but their last hope died too when they found a broken wrist watch near some remains of a body. Geet hadn't accepted his death and initially they hadn't forced her as they somewhere themselves were hoping for geet to be true.but yesterday's eveidence was enugh for them to open their eyes.. so today they were all gathered to bless his soul for the last time. Geet too was sitting there looking at maan's picture lost in her thoughts the words still echoing in her mind. And then savitri devi got up to put the mala on his photo and geet stirred for the first time in the whole week. She pulled away the garland.

Who dare put this on his photo he is alive. She shouted while crying.

Nahi he is alive. She cried.he himself told me that night in dargah that he will come back. Everyone exchanged nervous glances so now she is hallucinating too it wasn't good for her. Dev tried next

Everyone was staring at her. She stood up and tried going near the photo again but got dizzy and fell.

3 Months later.

They were all gathered in the handa's mansion.

Rano started crying mujhe to samjh nahi ata akhir kab tak ye sab chale ga. Doc k khne pe hum sab ne geet k samne maan ki death ko discuss krna chor diya magar kab tak aisa chale ga. Everyone was worried about this but no body was voicing it out cuz of the critical situation geet was in. after that outburst in maan's last ritual she had gone into coma for a month. The doctors had strictly forbidden them to bring up the topic again till she comes out of her delusion herself. So they had stooped hanging the garland on his photo and stopped mentioning his death at all. They wd just nod in affirmative when she wd tell them about maan.

Geet's brother finally said.

I think we should get her married. She will get busy in her new life and will forget all this nonsense. I talked to the doctor too. He agreed with me and said that we should politely keep on pushing her for marriage.

Rano said. You are right magar kon kare ga geet se shadi. Uski halat daikhi hai wo pagal ho chuki hai. No body's gona come forward.

They all sighed in relief. Finally geet had come to term. And immediately started to discuss the arrangements.

You don't have to do arrangements. Maan arranged everything already. All bookings and stuff are done. You guys just have to arrange for your own clothes and convaince to reach the venue on time.

Everyone was so happy and celebrating that nobody noticed when vickey left the hall and went outside.

Vickey was sitting on the stairs

Geet came and sat next to him.

Congrats vickey said dully. Y r u out here you might catch cold. Go in there there is only 2 wks left before wedding you wd have to do stuff.

Geet smiled.

You are sad cuz I moved on and forgot your brother.vivkey looked up at her she was staring far away smiling

You are happy cuz I am finally coming out of my cazyness.

You are mad cuz I am insensitive enough to use maan' arrangements to marry someone else.

You are annoyed cuz I am using maan's dreams as a stepping stone to reach my dreams.

Vickey looked at her silently weeping.

I always knew you were wrong but somewhere I believed in you I hoped for your believe to come true. But today that hope broke too as even you had come to terms now. You are not wrong you picked the right choice. You are right I m sad that my final connection to bro has broken too. I m mad cuz I cdnt fulfill bro's dreams. He had so many plans I had to help him fulfill them but he never gave us the chance he left up before that.. I m anooyed cuz its dev bro and not maan bro who is maarying you. But all these emotions are very mild as comapared to the happiness I m feeling for you that you have moved on. Aaj bro bhi bohat khush hoge.
