A TUB OF CHOCOLATE ICECREAM..

"Papa aap mujhe chodkar kyun chale gaye?"Dia asked.

Maan instantly looked up from the laptop screen with his eyes filled.

What had he done?

He had left Geet alone when she needed him the most!

He should have held her hand when she yelled in pain when she gave birth to Dia..

He had not been there to hold his princess first!!

He had not been there to support Geet when Dia cried all night!

He had not been there to help Dia take her first steps!

He had not been there when Dia cried on the first day of school..

He had never been there when they needed him the most..

He was blinded by his rage and he had failed to see the truth that he had fallen in love with Geet..

It hit him hard now.

He ran towards Dia and took her in his arms and hugged her tight.

He buried his head in her neck and cried his heart out.

Her question rang again in his ears that squeezed his heart.

He kissed her all over the face and said"No baby,papa will never leave you alone anymore!"

Dia's eyes twinkled and she said,"Then u must buy me icecream whenever I ask for"

Maan nodded.Dia thought for a while and said,"U must get me the latest collection of Barbie dolls"

"Yes"he said.

"You must build sandcastles with me!"

"Yes"

"You must read me a book every night"

"Yes"

Dia smiled and said in a chocked voice,"mujhe ye sab nahi chahiye papa"

Maan looked confused.

Dia paused and continued with tears rollin,"mujhe sirf aap chahiye!"

Maan hugged her tight and said,"I promise you Dia,I promise that I'll never hurt you or mama again.I'll love you both till my last breath.All I need is a chance."

Dia looked up at him and said,"sachi?"

Maan looked at her and said,"muchi"

Where did I go wrong

Geet covered her sobs and ran away to the restroom.She had come to her cabin to search for Dia and had went to Maan's cabin knowing that Dia might be there.She was about to open the door when she heard Dia questioning him.

Her heart stopped beating and what caused her more pain were his cries.Those were heart breaking.

She had never experienced such pain.

She was shocked when she heard Maan's reply.

She cried her heart out..

What was it to be done?

Should she give him another chance?

Can she trust him??

Exhausted by the conflict she gave up and decided that she WILL GIVE HIM A CHANCE...

Dia was rubbing her nose with Maan's and he was saying,"baby..no"and trying hard to type at the same time.

Dia giggled and said,Okay mujhe chocky icecream chahiye!"

"What?"he asked bewildered.

Dia nodded.

"No ways!mama will kill me!"he said.

"Please..papa!"she asked with a baby face.

He melted at the face and lifted her up and called the receptionist and ordered a tub of chocolate icecream.

After an hour,maan yelled"DIA?!?!"

Dia was covered with chocolate icecream smeared all over her face and frock!

He lifted her up and proceded towards the washroom thinking,"Hey bhagwan..Geet'll kill me!"

When they were about to reach the washroom they heard her voice,"STOP WHERE U ARE,MR.MAAN SINGH KHURANA!"that made him stop dead in his tracks..
