Abhay closed his eyes in pain and his arms automatically tightened around Pia."That's why they punished Deli.That's why they told me not to bring her back.They knew her true colors",he whispered while resting his face in her dark hair."Did she hurt you Pia?",he asked feeling her collarbone by his thumb."Not yet but I don't trust her.She can pounce on me at any time",she whispered on his cheek."I promise to keep you safe.Just keep in mind that she shouldn't know that I know her truth.Let her do what she has planned and I'll take care of it",he said.Pia put her forehead on his neck and sighed.Abhay gently pulled her up to their bed and made her sleep.He waited for her to sleep and then sneaked out slowly.He had been thirsting for some days and had to feed on some animal.He wore his black cloak and kissed her on her lips.While coming down he saw Deli's room empty.He tried to find her but she was blocking him out.He went out and soon blended among the dark trees.Deli came out from a ruined hut in the forest and wiped blood from her canines.She had sucked life out of an old forest guide.She felt Abhay nearby and followed him.He was in the middle of the forest waiting cautiously for a deer standing a few feets away.She had a brilliant smile on her face.Abhay was so busy here in the dead of the forest instead of sleeping with Pia like a foolish mortal.She ran in supernatural speed to finish off Pia.Abhay's refusal and anger was playing on her mind.Revenge was the only way out.She climbed up to Pia's room and smashed the windows into pieces.Pia woke up in horror.She saw a devilish figure crouching on the window pane wearing a red cloak.Her hair was floating in the wind and blood was dripping off her lips.Pia suddenly noticed that Abhay wasn't with her.She was alone.She moved down to the floor begging mercy."Spare me Deli,don't kill me please",she shouted."Why not Pia?Why not?You had snatched away my love always.Even after I killed you.If you hadn't returned then Abhay would have been mine.I love him Pia,I love him.And I can't let you live",Deli said and walked in.She held Pia by her shoulders and banged her on the wall.Pia hit the floor and felt blood oozing out of her scalp.She saw Deli coming again.She covered her face and pleaded her to stop but she couldn't hear anything other than Revenge.She pulled her again and smashed her on the wall.Pia lost consciousness and fell with a bang.Deli saw blood streaming down her ears and arms.Her eyes gleamed up.She rushed to her neck and started sucking out life from her.After some minutes,Abhay entered through the door and what his eyes met was a nightmare.Deli was on all fours hungrily sucking out blood from a nearly dead Pia.He gave out a cry and pushed Deli away.Deli got shocked at Abhay's arrival and fled immediately.Abhay took Pia on his lap and shook her face gently.He saw various body parts including her skull deeply injured.He feared of an internal haemorrage and rushed out to the nearby hospital.It was past midnight so he couldn't find the correct surgeon.He came back to the hotel and called Naina and Jeremy for help.Jeremy had good knowledge about surgery.Naina cleaned blood off Pia using warm towels but still her bleeding won't stop.All panicked about what to do.Jeremy checked her skull and found her ears were boxed off.Internal bleeding won't stop.Abhay cut his wrist and let his blood drip in Pia's veins where Deli had bit her.As his blood circulated through her,her bleeding slowed down and ultimately stopped.Abhay healed her face and her ears.He found various metalic pieces stuck on her skin.They patiently stopped her bleeding here and there and bandaged her forehead and arms and legs too.While bandaging her,Abhay felt her calf bone broken.Jeremy brought his equipments and applied plaster to the bone.Her elbow and some fingers were also fractured.It took a long time to aid her properly.Naina offered to stay with them and Jeremy agreed.After some time,they went away to buy some pain killers and other medication.Abhay had his right arm on Pia's belly while he stared at her in extreme fear.Fear of losing her.He laid down beside her but being carefull not to embrace her 'cause nearly her whole body was bandaged.When Naina came back, he asked them to take care of her and went away.He was so mad at Delinsey.How could she do this to Pia?Wasn't Abhay her creator?Then how could she repay him like this.He searched everywhere frantically.He swore to himself that if he meets Deli,he'll finish her in a single blow.He expected Deli to be sitting somewhere flashing her wicked smile.But as he turned around a banyan tree,he saw Deli.Not as what he had expected but totally different looking somewhat holy.Was this a new trap of her or was she genuinely repentant?
