Part 9

Akash and Payal walked over to pay the bill. Arnav stood impatiently tapping his foot on the floor. His ears twitched a bit. "I think I just heard Jija Ji's voice". He turned round. His was shocked. He saw Shyam walking round with another girl holding her hand. He was soo angry, he was just about to walk over and confront him but just then he heard a voice. "Arnav Ji kya hua?" Khushi said. "NOTHING" He shouted and turned round, Shyam was nowhere to be seen. He glared Khushi. "Lets go" Akash called. Arnav stormed out the store.

PayAsh looked at Khushi. Khushi shrugged her shoulders and walked out.

Arnav arrived home. He ran straight up to Anjali's room. "Di, Jija Ji is cheating on you" Arnav told Anjali. "Chotte my Shyam Ji's not like that, your mistaken." Anjali said. No Di I'm not mistaken, you've got to believe me" Arnav said angrily. "Chotte Shyam Ji phoned me a while ago and told me he was with his client and that he tried to talk to you and that you ignored him" Anjali shouted. "Please just get out" Arnav ran out nearly crying. "Why wont Di believe her Chotte?" Arnav thought glumly.

It was the day of the wedding. Everyone was busy in preparations. Everyone was happy and joyful expect from Arnav. He knew this Shyam guy was no good. Arnav walked up to Anjali's room once again to explain to her. He stood against the door hesitating. He heard Anjali's voice. "Yes Shyam Ji of course, I'll send the money along this afternoon" Arnav stood there stunned. "I really think Jija Ji is asking for dowry" thought.

The dancing began. The baraat came. Khushi so greatly that Arnav couldn't take his eyes off her. Khushi looked away smiling.

The wedding had begun. Shyam was just about to put sindoor on Anjlai. "Rukjao Diii" Arnad said. All eyes turned towards Arnav. "Di he's not good enough for you, he's asking for dowry this makes him a greedy selfish guy" Arnav tried to explain. "Salle Saib" Shyam shouted angrily. Anjali cut him off. "Arnav how dare you say that about your Jiju" she raised her hand angrily and slapped Arnav. Arnav was so shocked he fell to the floor. He watched his sister take the WORST decision of her life. Anjali and Shyam started to walk round the fire. Shyam smiled wickedly at Arnav.

At the bidaaai Arnav didn't shed one single tear. He hated his Di forever, for not trusting him.
Khushi glanced at Arnav she was so uncomfortable, she hated it when anyone was upset.
