I've tried to stick to the promos of the show shown in the beginning. While thinking about the past, Arnav hears some kind of gun shot. All this happens during his sister's wedding. Moreover, there are hints thrown occasionally that he was thrown out and cheated by those whom he believed fully and unconditionally. We were also told that Khushi is somehow related to all this. This is just my interpretation of how the past could have played havoc in Arnav's life to such an extent that he lost faith in love and relationships. In one of the earlier updates Arnav recollects about his mother to Khushi and how she resembles her. He also sees an old family album which makes him decide against confessing his love. I've thrown hints in the previous updates about this. I got all this done in one single update though I could have prolonged it for two or three more updates because I was feeling very bad about the Arhi separation. For Arhi to begin a new and fruitful relationship is possible only when they have come to terms with the past however painful it is.

really awesome! i hope we'll get to see them reconcile in the next chapter though... i hate break-ups..:P :)
