Chapter XI
Mussorie, hill view resort, misha- piya's room, 9:15am
Piya wasn't low now because of the time she passed with abhay in the jungle. She was happy that she went to the jungle and found a friend though she had got in trouble but all in all happy at the end. She wasn't frightened about anything now. Abhay had solved all her problems in just fraction of seconds. He was like an angel in disguise for her but he considered himself more than a monster. She wasn't like those people who would ponder over something for long but one thing was still lingering in her mind that how abhay did so easily threw that man from one place to other in the air. It was as if that he was playing with a piece of cotton, blowing it in the air with ease.
Misha and aleena were busy in gossiping about the budding friendship between abhay and piya. They were the next potential couple.
Panchi sent messages to each and every room to ask everyone to assemble in the common room of the resort after an hour. All of them got ready and started leaving the room to reach the common room on time. Aleena asked piya and misha to come with her. Piya asked her to go with misha as she would come after sometime.
Piya went near the large balcony of the room after both aleena and misha left. She was quite content that everything settled and now she wasn't feeling uncomfortable in facing misha or panchi. She went and sat on railing which wasn't quite wide but was enough for her.
Abhay was ready to go to the room and was passing from the corridor but he felt piya's presence in her room and he could feel that she was alone there. He decided to go inside the room and ask her to come with him to the common room.
Piya was totally engrossed in the scenic beauty of the surrounding around the resort which was visible from where she was sitting. Suddenly, abhay opened the door due which piya got startled and she almost fell from the ledge. But a pair of strong hands quickly clutched her delicate body. She let out a scream as she was very frightened but now she was totally bewitched by the pair of those blue hypnotic eyes. Abhay supported piya and quickly pulled her up from there and picked her in his strong arms. Piya was crying silently because of the sudden disturbance which was quite peaceful a minute before.
Abhay tried to scold piya: what were you doing there? You would have died if I would have not caught you in time…. (Though there was no doubt that abhay would haven't caught piya on time).
Piya wasn't interested in answering his questions. She didn't pay any heed to it but was totally in a fix that how abhay did caught her so fast. It was about 20 feet from the door to the door to the place where she was sitting. She very well knew that this wasn't humanly possible to cover that distance in fraction seconds and catching someone so easily without any difficulty. It was not at all child's play. Piya was lost in her thoughts and was crying softly. Abhay saw piya in a trance and the silence in that room was just killing him now.
Abhay tried to comfort piya: piya… are you ok? Are you hurt? Shhh…Don't cry now… you are perfectly safe now.
Piya was still in abhay's arms but was very puzzled and she gave an answer which was most unexpected by abhay.
Piya (still sobbing): how… how did you catch me..? I was so… so far… you… you were so fast… abhay… how could you..?
Abhay took piya to her bed and gently put her down.
Abhay: piya… I was asking about you and you are inspecting me…. This about you not me…
Piya (stubbornly): answer me first…
Abhay: ok… fine… I am quick… I was a state level running champion so I did it with ease…
Piya was still not satisfied but she let it go: fine… what are you doing here… I mean… in my room…
Abhay: I just came to ask you to come with me to the common room… that's all…
Piya: fine… let me brush my hairs then we will go…
Abhay: I am waiting….
Piya quickly got up from the bed and straightened her clothes. She went near the mirror and brushed her hairs. Then both abhay and piya left the room after locking it. They were giggling and talking with each other unaware that Kabir had seen them with each other. Kabir had also seen them getting into the lift together. He started fuming with anger. Kabir didn't like piya's increasing proximity with abhay though he very well knew that piya was most comfortable with abhay only. She had found a friend whom she could call in 2:00am in the morning also. Abhay was also too happy as he had got his lost soul mate, his life about after 2 centuries. He wanted to fill piya's life with all the happiness but the biggest enemy of her life was he himself. Abhay did not want to leave piya but for her sake he had to control himself. If piya would be addicted to his company and he knew that if someday he would lose his control in front of him then both of them wouldn't be able to live. She was like his personal brand of drug to him as her blood was too potent for him. Her blood was very luring to him though he hadn't fed himself on human blood for too long but he was losing himself to her. Though after seeing her face, his old memories of Maithili used to resurface but when love is there nothing other matters.
Inside the lift
Abhay couldn't understand why piya was constantly giggling and smiling to herself. 5 minutes before, she was crying and now she was smiling. She was truly a puzzle… an unsolved puzzle. One who could solve her would surely win her heart and abhay had almost solved it half.
Piya was thinking if she and abhay couldn't be friends then why abhay had became the closest person to her heart in just a day. Whenever she was near him, she used to lose her control over herself. Merely a day had passed with him but it was like she knew him from ages. Her heart ached for him and his proximity had a jittering effect on her. Both were there in their own thought about each other but both of them didn't know that they were thinking about each other.
Abhay in of his thoughts: what is making her happy so much…? I have to remain away from her… otherwise she will surely fall for me… again and I can't let this happen…
Abhay out of his thoughts: are you mad…curly head? Why are you smiling to yourself…?
Piya: why… is there any problem if I am smiling to myself…baba abhay raichand (teasingly)… I am not disturbing you… sadhu ji…
Abhay: mujhe baba… baba kehna band karo…varna…
Piya: varna kya…?
Abhay: main tumhe curly head in distress bulaongaa…
Piya was about to say something but the lift opened and she went running to the staircase that led to the common room…
Piya was screaming: fine… sadhu baba… jo karna hai karo…. Main tumse darti nahi hoon…
Piya was looking back and running without attention… and suddenly she was about to slip from the staircase… she let out a scream and closed her eyes in fear. She was about to fall but was perfectly secured in the safest place of the world… in abhay's arms. Her eyes were still tightly closed but when she realized that she was safe then she opened her eyes. Her eyes hit those two glittering blue hypnotic eyes. Both of their eyes were imprisoned by each other and they had a passionate eyelock which was broken by misha about 2-3 minutes later.
Misha came running to piya and pretended to clear her throat to break their eyelock.
Misha: guys… this is public place… itni besharmi yahaan allowed nahi hai… tum dono ko mile huye 2-3 din hi huye hain… and you are falling… wake up guys… wake up…
Abhay loosen his grip over piya and she recollected herself. She was blushing like hell. Abhay was also feeling dizzy as his senses were only filled with piya's fragrance.
Piya tried to control the situation: mish… nothing's like that… achcha where is aleena… was she asking about me…?
Piya dragged misha with her and took her to the huge common room which was more like library with beautiful artifacts and paintings. Panchi announced that they were going to the museum for today.
Mussorie, in the bus, to the museum, 10:30am
Everybody settled in the bus. Piya was sitting with misha. Aleena and abhay were sitting at the back seat. Angad, Ruhi and Kabir sitting on the other side. Kabir was still sulking in the corner as he wasn't happy with abhay and piya's friendship. He thought that abhay had come 2-3 days before only but he was more close to piya than him. He had started feeling for piya and if anyone would try his luck over her then he would never tolerate this. He decided to confront piya for this later on. His anger was rising second by second and he couldn't control it anymore but he didn't want to spoil piya's mood now so decided to remain quiet now.
Angad and Ruhi were choochi…cooing and this annoyed misha. She went straight to aleena and asked her to sit and talk with her because piya was as usual in her own dreamland. Though piya was sitting physically with them but her mind and heart were somewhere else. She came out of her thoughts and looked everywhere and noticed that Kabir was behaving a bit odd so she decided to ask him up.
Piya: Kabir… you ok? You look as if someone hit you hard on your face… is something troubling you… you can tell me…
Kabir lost his patience: this is you piya… you are giving abhay more importance than me… you know he is an A class jerk.
Piya: Kabir… calm down… you can't judge any book with its cover… he maybe a jerk to you but he is a good friend of mine…
Kabir: is it so…?
Piya: yeah…of course…
Kabir: then… what was he doing in your room before you both left for the common room together… I guess you were alone with him that time… so what was that…?
Abhay was sitting on a seat next to next to Kabir and was listening both of them. He understood that he needed to handle the situation so before piya could say anything, abhay interrupted.
Abhay: Kabir… this is just your misunderstanding… there is nothing like that what you are trying to say…
Kabir: man… just stay away from this… this is solely about me and piya…
Abhay: oh… but I heard my name more than twice and you say that it is not about me…
Piya: leave it… abhay… I'll handle…
Abhay; no… piya… let me handle this… and Kabir…let me tell you…
Kabir stood up from his seat and started to move to the last seat… saying… I don't give a damn about it…
Abhay: man…I just went to return piya's pendant that she left in the jungle… that's all….
Till then Kabir had already went and sat at the last seat but e listened what abhay said. He started looking out of the window to control him and loosen up.
Piya was relieved that abhay handled it all so she let a sigh of relief. She thanked him and asked to sit with her. After sometime she touched her neck and found that her mother's pendant was really missing. She was about to scream but abhay placed his hand on her mouth to shut it. Her eyes were now filled with tears which lurched abhay's heart. He put his another free hand in his pocket and took out a black napkin. Then he took piya's hand and put that napkin on her hand. He removed his hand from piya's mouth.
Abhay: shhh… don't cry and open it…
Piya opened the napkin and found one of the precious things which were really near to her heart… her mother's pendant. Piya held it in her hand and suddenly hugged abhay tightly. She stopped crying and a huge smile was pasted on her heart-shaped face. Abhay hugged her back and Abhay's heart was dancing with joy and content now.
Piya: abhay… thank you… thanks a lot… you saved my life and now this…. I am really grateful to you… this is really precious… like you…
This was the first time Abhay was so much close to piya… he inhaled the scent of her hairs her fragrance… she smelt divine… but he needed to control himself… he had to tame his wild desires…. So he loosened his grip and piya also left him…
Abhay: I knew… it means you a lot… your welcome… madame…
Piya: so you didn't lie about the pendant… you actually had it… but why didn't you give me that time…
Abhay: I just forgot… but you are happy now…
Piya: yeah… you are a true friend…
Abhay smiled back but his senses were not with him…. Thanks to piya.
Aleena and misha could only see this because they were sitting just on right of them. They were happy that they needed nothing to do and their work was easily getting completed… in other words… mission part 1 accompalished…

phew... that was long... hope you all like it... i'll update next chapter about after 5 days only as i am a busy with some assignment... so understand my problem...
