Everyone who sat in room 22 in the afternoon was hanging onto the last movement of the hand on the clock. they were all so tired that they had officially switched of for French. the buzzer went for the last time to symbolize the end of the day. everyone grabbed their books and headed out. Sharon was so tired, she wasn't even in the mood for a party today! she had reached the door when Kria blocked her way. everybody else had left and it was only them two in the class room. 'what do you want loser? get out of my way I don't have time for weaklings like you' she said with a bored look on her face.
'fine sharon, you don't want to know me, that's fine but at least stop playing these stupid game' kria was tired of fearing any other trouble so she wanted to settle the scores with sharon, once and for all.
'what are you talking about?, just get out of my way, i swear I have no idea how I was ever your friend! you fit in way better with that girl, what's her name? yeah Neha. both of you losers together.' sharon had never felt so vulnerable as she did today. Kria had found a replacement for her so quickly? how could she? when sharon could never replace Kria even after one year.
'I'm talking about that stupid prank you pulled in the morning, changing my timetable, you really think that was funny?'
'maybe not to you, but to me it was' she laughed at kria 'It should just show you, don't try to come back into the dazzlers and we're no longer friends in fact we will never be.'
'fine, neither do I want to be your friend' Kria was on the edge of tears. 'but it's better if we keep out of each others way. and that means no pranks. truce?'
'fine you keep out of my way and i'll keep out of yours, now move' sharon said. Kria moved out of sharon's way and sharon pushed past her bumping her on the shoulder. Kria hoped sharon would let it go she really didn't want to fight with her but sharon had a hard time letting things go. Kria walked out the classroom and downstairs to the gates. She was so tired and it was only the first day. she was walking out of the doors when she noticed the notice board with a sign up sheet for dance club.She had to keep herself busy and away from these dazzlers, especially that Reyansh, so she might as well. she wrote her name at the bottom of the list. then headed out the door.
Reyansh who was behind Kria smiled. He looked at the sign up sheet.After this morning He didn't know why but he wanted to spend more time with her. and then he signed his name on the sheet too. wait what? was he sure about this? yes! he was sure and he realized that because his heart was beating so fast thinking about them dancing together. he smiled then walked out to the parking lot to get his car. when he saw sharon sitting of his car with on leg over the other. she looked at him with eyebrows raised.
'Rey, where were you i've been waiting for you for ages' she said getting down. 'you know, you always drop me home.'
'soz Sharon I was just at my locker, anyways what's up? how was your day?' he said avoiding her eyes. He didn't want to lie to her but he had to no choice, he didn't want a fight. she had become his very good friend ever since he had moved here. but she couldn't tell him who he could and couldn't talk to. after all, it was sharon who had a problem with Kria not him. He opened the front seat of the car for her.
'nothing yaar, same as usual. but you tell me, it was funny right? this morning when kria came into the maths class?' she said getting into the car.
Reyansh started the car and they drove off. 'yeah, it was funny. anyways how are you? did you manage to finish the computer assignment? he asked wanting to divert the subject.
'yeah I finished it but I found the last bit quite difficult. I think it's because I don't have the software uploaded. did you get it?' she asked facing him.
'yeah it was quite simple when you have the uploaded the software. in fact you know what i'll come with you and help you upload it. okay?' he looked at her and smiled then turned back to the front.
The buzzer for end of school had just gone and Vicky had practically ran to the library. when he saw Neha his face had completely glowed up. then his face fell again from lunchtime and the French lesson the printer had been replaced. which mean that she would don't be coming to his house. maybe he could just talk to her now, no one was here anyways. Vicky walked towards Neha and said 'hey Neha! so the printer is fixed huh?, did you print your photos?'
'Neha printed pictures, look very nice na?' she said, showing them to him. Vicky looked at each of them very carefully. they were really good, He looked at her face and just kept looking. she was talented as well as pretty. wow. Amazing she is. umm i mean, she is amazing.
'what looking at you? something on Neha face?' she said putting her hand to her cheek and touching it lightly.
'no it's just... nothing' he said shaking his head. 'so, these photo's are really good, how did you take these photos?'
'with a camera' she said innocently.
'no i mean how did you take these photos so well? I mean did you use a special type of camera? or maybe it's just because you are so special... he said trailing off staring at her dreamily.
'Neha special you think?' she said. awww dazzler Vicky thinks she is special. they both stared at each other for a few minutes when suddenly the librarian clicked her fingers in their faces. 'stupid children, always staring at each other, even at lunch time, what are you trying to find, huh?' she mumbled loudly.'if you want to do some work do it, otherwise get out.' neha looked down blushing and even Vicky began to go beetroot red.
'okay, i'll see you... another time bye' He didn't want to go but was getting late so he had to.
'vicky' she reached out her hand and touched his arm. 'thank you' then she quickly lifted her hand and grabbed her bag.Vicky stood there watching her she walked down the library and out the doors. vicky you idiot he thought your getting late, you had to go home remember? he grabbed his bag and headed out too.
kria pulled her bag of her bed and emptied out the contents of it onto her desk. she opened her note book then her maths textbook. she was reading question one when Reyansh's face came to her mind. his words '
I like romance novels' came to her mind and she smiled. kria, she thought, why was she smiling? she read the questions of the textbook but she couldn't process anything. Then she remembered how he had touched her hand and she started blushing again.
'kria betaaa' shouted her mum from the kitchen. 'kriaa betaa can you help me??' uff kria thought. she might as well help her mum. she couldn't concentrate anyway. she got up and walked to the kitchen. she put on the gloves and started washing the dishes. 'I like Romance novels' she said then she laughed quietly.
'what? kria are you okay?' her mum said shaking Kria's arm.
'huh?.. oh yeah.. um... err... i was just saying i saw this romance novel today in the library and i liked it' she said snapping out of her day dream about Reyansh.
kria seriously stop it! what's wrong with you? your thinking about that guy? why? you hate him. no wait, i don't hate him. wait yes i hate him. while talking to herself Kria was rubbing the plate so hard that she dropped it and it landed on the floor with a crash! 'kriaaa' her mum shouted 'what have you done?'
'sorry mom, im really sorry, it was just an accident, i'll clean it up' she said looking at the mess on the floor.
'no stop don't worry, you should just go before you get hurt' she said as she started to wear a pair of slippers and take out a dustpan and brush. Kria walked out of the kitchen and into her room. god this guy he was going to drive her crazy. she sat down on her desk again to do some work. 'where's my pen?' she said. then she remembered she had taken it with her to the kitchen. oh god. no screw that, she had already gone crazy.
