*Romance through Texts*
*One new text message*
..She heard her blackberry beep on her side-table. It has been an asual hectic and lonely day. She as usual reached her home all lonely, as usual ate her dinner alone..and us usual was lying on the bed alone. But suddenly this text at this time at night confused her. Who can be this?, she thought to herself.
"heyy :) - Armaan"
She stared at the text for what seemed like forever. The love of her life, obviously unknown of her feelings was...texting her? Her heartbeat raced and her pulsed quicken. She felt herself shuddering.
*Beep Beep*
She was startled as the screen showed another new message.
"Asleep already? :/ - Armaan"
She felt his disappointment and suddenly the of excitement about talking to your love in the middle of the night washed over her. She quickly texted back.
When he was almost sure tonight is not his night, his cell-phone beeped making his heartbeat do tango in excitement.
"Hey..no im awake..hows ya? - Basket"
He couldn't wipe off that dimpled smile which came on his lips this second. He was more than in love with his phone now.
"m gud..just..sitting! all alone. :P - Armaan"
As she read it, her hand trembled and her cheeks reddend. Why the hell was he doing that!?, she asked herself mad. Controlling her anger and blush, she replied
"Ya gud 4 u! :P - Basket"
He laughed out loud reading that..ofcourse she can fire back..its Basket after all! He thought, smiling.
"Ya ya..wateva..u say? hows ya? - Armaan."
She giggled as she imagined his face.
"m gud, m gud..trying to sleep.
u tell? aaj meri yaad aa gayi? - Basket"
She hit the send button without thinking twice, then bit her tongue.
He smiled.
"hmm..acy haan..was trying not to admit..but i miss you basket. - Armaan"
Riddhima felt herself floating in air. Taking sometime to process her thoughts, she remembered she love this guy. But, she isn't the kind of a person who can lay her heart out like he did. But...can't she let herself feel wat her heart wanted to feel...for once?
"miss you too."
*Sent*
He sighed as he saw that.
Hes gonna say what his heart wants now, he decided then and there.
"basket..i wanna ask somethn frm u.."
She frowned..wat now?
"say?"
"have u ever been in love?"
Her breath stopped. She stiffened..but reddend at the same time.
"Ummm...i dunno armaan."
He felt a little bad that she didnt say anythng about this..he knew she had feelings for him too. It was now or never for him tonight.
"But i've gone crazy in love basket! i need ur help!"
He replied grinning.
She was shocked. He loved someone? Someone else? And the nerve of that guy..he needs her help in that! She thought angrily with hurt wounding her poor heart.
"Whos she?"
He could almost see her hurt and angry face right now. Aww...his poor basket! He thought cheekily.
He decided to continue this for a while..its not everyday you get to fool Ms. Basket Gupta!
"Umm..basket..how do i tell u...shes the most beautiful girl i've ever seen! Shes sweet, smart, fun, understanding, hot, sexy, and wat not! m all mad over her yaar! plz help me to make her confess to me! plz na...!"
While here he was patiently waiting for her reply..she was crying buckets over her one-sided love. She felt hurt and broken and completely shattered. And, in no mood to talk to him ever after this.
"Uhh..armaan..im sure i dunno her..n waise b i dun do dis match-making thing..ask any other frnd of urs..im sorry..i g2g...bye..plz take care."
And with that she burried herself in the pillow and cried.
He was shocked as hell after reading that text. After realizing his biggest blunder in his master plan of forcing her to say she loves him too..he set himself for the real thing.
"Hey hey basket listen to me plz..u kno her..infact u kno her the best...She has the same features as urs..same hazel-oh-so-deep eyes..same oh-so-cute-home-of-gussa nose..same oh-so-tempting lips..even same oh-so-short height..shes just like u basket..or i wuld say..its only You."
He breathed hard and pressed the send button and waited. His heart in frenzy.
She peeped at her beeping cell..debating whether to check what it contains or just leave it..saving herself from another hurting text of his. But her heart took over and she picked up the phone..wiped her tears and opened the message.
She didnt know whether to laugh at her stupidity or to cry in joy or to just shout at him for giving her a heartbreak though a simple text! Ignoring the Oh-so-idiotic part..she read..and reread the text again and again..filling herself with the feeling of actually being told that shes loved by her love too. It couldn't be more of a content situation for her.
He kept waiting for an answer..for a single reply..but he just waited and waited. He felt his pulse racing as the thought of her not loving him back came in his mind..feeling his eyes getting moist all of a sudden..he decided he talked to her like he should.
After seemed like an eternity, she came out of her dreamland when she heard her balcony door being opened and closed. She snapped back to reality and turned around what happened, only to get back in her dreamland.
After all, watching Armaan starnding infront of her, in her room, at 2:00 in the morning, looking impatient and somewhere on the verge of tears...is supposed to be a dream right?
"May i ask WHY didnt you reply?????" An angry and hurt armaan asked a dreamy riddhima. he didnt notice her eyes until he came and settled infront of her on her bed.
"Why aren't you saying anythn basket?" He said in a hurt tone. May be she didn't love him. He felt his heartbeat getting slower and slower..
"huh?" She came back to reality the second time in that 5 minutes. Looking at him, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. He was HERE!!!!
"OMG! Wat The HELL are you doing here? How did u get here so fast??" She asked looking at the wall clock..its hardly 10 minutes since her dream began and broke!
He looked at her nicely now. Ignoring her question..he saw her puffy eyes and straberry colored cheeks.
As his heart processed why was that...it became a runner in a marathan..beating so fast he could hardly stop himself from reactiing that way..she did love him afterall.
Swiftly, he took her in his arms and locked his lips with hers, shushing her and her ranting. He conveyed each and every emotion in that kiss to her..hoping she'd understand.
For Riddhima, it was like the world stopped that moment when his lips sealed hers, indulging her in an ultimate kiss of her lifetime. She forgot what was wrong and what right, and listened to her heart now.
Moving him closer to herself she moved her hands at the back of his neck and hair, arousing him to the edge. He never felt this passionate before. Maybe thats why they say that 'first kiss is always magical'. And it was! He pushed her down on the bed..lay on top of her with his one hand busy holding her posessively himself, while the other locked on her face, telling her to keep going on. They kissed each other wildly, insanely, kiss after kiss, breaking from one to another, helplessly trying to pull up the courage to leave each other, but alas..couldn't. At last, as he felt her breathing heavily, he broke apart..but keeping their lips in contact.
"Uhhh...uhh..you didnt answer my question.." She breathed.
"Which question?" he whispered heavily..smiling.
"How did you come here so fast? are you a vampire???" She asked, suddenly getting excited.
"UGhhh!! NO Riddhima! STOP reading fiction books, for the love of all thats holy!!" He shouted his lungs out at her..making a cute wide-eyed face.
"Awww..okay okay!" She said and pulled him back in their tight embrace, remembering him, and only him right now. Edward can go rest for a while.
"And i was sitting right outside your balcony since 12 in midnight, in my car." He said burrying his face in her neck..kissing it lightly.
Her eyes got moist and she held him tightly, slowly realizing the intensity of his love.
"I love you, Armaan." She held him tightly.
He moved a little, looked at her smiling wide in tears too.
"I love you too, Basket." He said as she joined their lips in yet another love-filled journey.
"It's not necessary to be the first one to show your feelings to the person, you love. But, if she or he is hesitating, Don't think twice and open your heart infront of that person, and you would get what your heart always desired."
