M&G... Lambi Judaai... Part 23

Ever since Mohinder had said that Geet was able to go to London time had passed quickly. In order to ensure Mohinder didn't change his mind, Geet became more focused on her studies to make sure she got the best results. Due to this, Maan and Geet gradually became further apart. Maan was also busy at university which made him unable to talk to Geet that much. Their talks became shorter and their calls became less frequent as they now barely contacted each other.

1 YEAR LATER – MAAN AND GEET ARE NOW BOTH 18

Rano: Geet beta, hurry up otherwise we are going to be late

Geet: Okay Mum, I'm coming

Geet had been waiting so long for this day to come and now that it had finally arrived she couldn't believe it. Today was the day that Geet was finally going to London. She had never been more excited in her life. But she also felt nervous, as she hadn't told Maan about her plans. What would he think? Would he have changed? Geet and Maan barely spoke to one other these days due to hectic schedules so she didn't know what to expect.

Geet (self-thought): Me and Maan have hardly spoken to one another for ages. This is seriously going to surprise him. I wonder what he is like. He is probably the same moody Maan I know.

Geet and her family went to the airport along with Annie and Daadi. She said her goodbyes to everyone.

Rano: Let me know when you arrive and make sure you regularly call me to let me know what's happening. I love you

Geet: Don't worry Mum, I will. I love you too

Geet made her way towards the security check and soon was out of site from her family.

Rano (selfthought): babaji meri beti ki kushiyan usse wapas lauta dena.

geet was sat in the airplane lookig out toward the clouds thinking about how maan would be know and how he would react to ssing her there, there only one question buzzing in her head ' would he be happy to see me OR NOT?' she was so nervous and excited aswell that she couldn't eat anything or even sleep she just stayed in deep thought whilst listening to some music.

Geet didn't even realize when her flight had landed and she had reached london she was bought out of her thoughts by the announcement that was made.

geet gathered her hand luggage and made her way out of the airplane, she couldn't believe she was actually here. in london. with her maan.

geet was confused whether to go to maans house or not, if she did it wouldn't look right and if she didn't then she didn't know how she let him know as she didn't have a sim in her phone and besides that she had been told maan had changed his phone number recently and in the hurry geet forgot to get it off annie, so geet concluded it was better to just go to his house and surprise him.

geet took a taxi and made her way towards khurana mansion which was in surrey about 30 mins away from heathrow airport. for geet these 30 minutes were like 3o0 hours she kept telling the driver drive faster and funnily the driver was punjabi and definetly understood geet was also from india sensing it from her accent, so the driver decided to start speaking in punjabi.

geet: jee bhai saab main Delhi se aaiye hoon aap kahan ke rehe waale hain

driver: oh jee assi toh ithe London vich rehnde aan

geet just rolled her eyes at the mans response

geet: nai mera matlab tha kai aap india mein kahan rehte hai

driver: ohh jee assi toh amritsar sai aayien

geet: acha! waise aap ka naam ?

driver: oh jee balwant singh hai hamara naam

geet: bohot acha naam hai, waise aap agar mind naa karein toh please thori jaldi gari chalaiynge

balwant driver: jee bilkul behen aap fikar mat kejiye, we're nearly there

geet: thank you

soon geet reaches her destiny and thanks balwant and pays him his fee and gets out of the car with her luggage

geet (self-thought): thank you babaji aap ne mujhe yahaan tak pohnchaa diya

geet goes to front door and rings the bell. But instead of maan nakul opens the door.

Nakul: arre geet beta aap?

Geet: Namaste nakul kaka aap kaise hain

Nakul: hum toh bilkul teekh, lekin aap yahan kya kar rahi hain, chote saab ne toh kuch nahi bataya ke aap yahan aa rahi hain

Geet: actually kaka main jaldi jaldi main maan koh batana hi bhool gaaye lekin koi baat nahi maine socha surprise ban jaaye ga, kyun?

Nakul: haan…woh toh hai

Nakul gave geet a weird smile which didn't go unnoticed by geet she could sense something wasn't right.

Geet: kaka kya hua?

Nakul: kuch bhi toh nahi

Geet: mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai kai kuch galat hone wala hai

Nakul: beta aap andar tho aaye

Geet: oh haan main toh main bhool hi gaaye

Geet had been standing out there the whole time and only now did she realize (lol)

Geet came inside the magnificent Khurana mansion she had hear a lot about it from maan, maan had told her that he would be staying here and how he had a history with this house and that this house was very close to his heart. Geet wondered around the hall looking at the dcor of the house it looked amazing, just perfect,like her maan geet blushed at her own thoughts, she was getting even more restless now she just wanted to see her maan and be in his embrace but he was no where to be seen, so she decided to ask nakul about his whereabouts.

Geet: nakul kaka maan kahan hai?

Nakul: woh beta aap apne kamre mein jaaye hum uss ko bata dein gaye kai aap yahan aayi hain

Geet: acha teekh hai. toh kya aap yeh bata sakte hain kai mera karma kahan hai, I mean any spare room.

Nakul instructed her to her new room and made his way towards the kitchen which confused geet even more. firstly he didn't tell her where maan is and then when he said he would go tell him he instead goes to the kitchen.

Geet just couldn't take it anymore once she had put her luggage in her room she herself decided to find maans room.

Geet started going past every room trying to guess which room would be maans and most rooms were open, she knew that maan wouldn't be in any of those rooms as she knew maan liked his privacy, however when she went past one of the open rooms she saw a shadow of not only one person but two which confused her even more because firstly by how much she knew only maan lived in this house along with a few servants who weren't allowed upstairs apparently.

Geet decided to see who was in that room because strangely she felt it was somehow something to do with her. But what geet saw swept the ground right under her feet.
