Chapter 35:

Maan dint think for long before closed in on geet to get her home safe first. But as maan came closer, geet went that much farther from him. At one point geet was about to fall down into the shallows when maan held her in his arms and steadied her. They both just looked at each other, stared into each other's eyes. He could see the pain geet's eyes. He could feel it ripping his heart into shreds. Her innocence was more personified now and all he could imagine was to cradle her in his arms like that forever. She let out a tired sigh and leaned her forehead on his chest and came close to him. Maan tightened his arms around her, making sure she was secure.

She looked at him like a small kid crying for a lollipop. Tears rolled down her milky cheeks. Maan stopped them mid way and wiped them off. He nodded to her in disagreement. She understood what he meant and look away from his gaze. She broke away from his bear hug and walked farther from him and started speaking,

Geet: u know I should have made sure of everything before doing all those stupid things. I am such a loser.

Maan: geet'.

She interrupted in between by signaling her hand.

Geet: I know u don't love, actually no, I now realize that u never loved me. It was heer who was in ur heart. All that I did was just waste of time.

Maan: geet I have no idea what u r talking abt'

Geet: I know coz u never found out that it was me who wrote all those letters to u'.

She smiled weakly before collapsing onto the ground. Maan rushed to her side in horror! But she had become unconscious. He ran towards the car and got the water bottle and came back. Took her in his lap and sprinkled water on her, trying to wake her up. Everything happened so suddenly maan dint even realize what geet had just revealed to him.

It was of no use, the vodka had got the better of her. He slowly picked her up in his arms and walked towards the car. He made her sleep in the backseat and himself sat in the driver's seat and drove towards her home in a hurry!!! When he reached there and took her inside brij and simran who were awake and waiting for geet to return were flabbergasted to see geet in such a state. They rushed towards maan and helped him to get geet to her room.

Brij: maan kya hua geet ko??? Aur tum isse lekar kyun aaye ho???

He asked maan while making sure his princess slept well. Maan waited until brij was done, simran stood there mum.

Maan: brij nothing to worry, who isne zyaada peeli hai, aur kuch nahin! Subah thak teek ho jayegi'

bRij: par kyun???

Maan: kuch nahin bas ek bat lagi thi tho yeh sab, maaf karde yaar!!!

Brij: arey nahin maan, mujhe tho tumhe dhanyawad kehna chahiye, geet ka khayaal rakhne ke liye!

Maan: wo tho mera farz tha'.

With this they both smiled and came out of geet's room. Simran stayed back to make sure geet was ok. Maan left the house and reached his car. He bid goodbye to brij and started of towards his home.

Precap: will maan realize what geet has revealed??? Will geet decide to let go of her love??? Watch out
