Someone once remarked to me that a birthday is like a 'Tempest in a Teacup.' As I do not celebrate birthdays, instead seeking to 'celebrate' the birth of each new day, I would be inclined to agree. However not today. Today I wish to let myself be swept away upon this stormy simile.

Although storms in teapots are regarded quite harshly as trivial occurrences, I would contend that the mere sight of all that erratic energy and giddy zeal; that latent fervor and tremendous might 'contained' within a fragile vessel overwhelms the cup of my heart and pours forth unto the saucer of my soul.

That is the thing about storms that are confined within the vessel that is our heart, once released we must struggle to sail our souls through them. As we relent towards the inclinations and disinclination of our hearts we bring forth the birth of new seasons.

Regardless it is but a link in a golden chain of days, of gilded moments. For not one link or moment is more beautiful than another link or moment, their beauty is being in part of a whole thereby each moment an eternity of beauty.

Akansha, may all your links, storms bring forth new days that always only ever bind you in awe of this beautiful earth.
