PART 59
Geet and Maan walked back home holding hands. When they arrived home, to their surprise, Geet's family was sitting with Maan's family discussing the engagement while workers were working on the decorations of the house for the pre-engagement rituals in the backyard. The engagement was going to take place in a party hall where Maan proposed to Geet, the Taj Palace. Geet's parents immediately ran towards Geet and Maan when they arrived. Geet's parents hugged both of them while Geet and Maan took their blessings. Geet introduced her family members to Maan.
Geet- Yeh mera bara bhai hain, real brother, Abhijot, jiska ab time mil gaya hain apni behan se milne ke liye kyun ki yeh pehle America mein the, kaam kar rahe the, apni GIRLFRIEND ke saath the, jise mujhe abhi tak milaya nahi!!!
Geet was sort of upset with her brother and Maan lightly smiled.
Abhijot- Geetu!! Sorry na, tum janti ho, business kitna mushkil hota hain! Lekin ab main aa gaya hoon.
Geet- Vo bhi sirf 2 days ke liye.
Abhi- Tumhari engagement hain, we'll all have fun!
Geet- To aapki VO kahan hain? Avantika haina?
Abhi- Aati hi hongi. She made a new friend, Pari.
Maan- PARI??!!
Abhi- Han.
Maan- Nahi nahi nahi nahi, vo larki pagal hain! Vo tumhari girlfriend ko bhi pagal kar degi!
Abhi smiled.
Abhi- Koi baat nahi, hone de. Vaise bhi vo quiet type hain.
Maan and Abhi talked with each other while Geet and all the other girls started talking.
Avantika- To Geet, batao, how is Maan?
Geet blushed.
Geet- Accha hain, sweet hain.
Avantika- Arey yaar, vo to hum bhi jante hain, thora detail mein!!
Everyone giggled and Geet was shy.
Geet- Uhmmm....
Avantika- Han, bolo bolo.
Geet- Yeh aap log kisi aur din puch lena, humari shaadi ke thore din pehle.
Avantika- Oh ho ho ho, shaadi ki bhi planning ho gayi kya?!
Pari- Aur kya kya cheezein ki planning ki?
Geet- Vo, uhmm...
Everyone giggled.
Avantika- Sharmaa gayi bechari. Koi baat nahi, aaj chod dete hain.
Geet quickly got up and ran towards her parents.
Rano- Arey Geet, chal tu aur Maan sau jao. Bahut der ho gayi hain. Hum sab bhi aane vale hain.
Geet nodded. Geet and Maan went upstairs in their room. As they parted to their seperate rooms, Geet and Maan turned around and moved closer. Maan put his arms around Geet's waist and Geet put her hands around Maan's neck. They moved in closer for a kiss BUT all of a sudden, Pari and Avantika came.
Avantika- RUKO!!!!!!!
Geet and Maan quickly broke their closeness and Avantika and Pari came towards them.
Avantika- Itne nazdeekiyan?
Pari- Itna pyaar?
Avantika- Chalo, kiss kardo, koi baat nahi, karo na.
Pari- Bhaiya, just a peck or a SMOOCH.
Maan glared at Pari.
Maan- Turn around.
Pari- What?
Maan- Turn around.
Pari and Avantika turned around while Maan quickly pecked Geet's lips.
Geet whispered- Wait!
Maan kissed Geet passionately.
Maan whispered- Kal tum meri official mangetar ban jaogi. Apna phone vibrate par rakhna, I'll text you.
Geet nodded. Rano came upstairs to Geet's room.
Rano- Aaj to main apni beti ke saath saongi.
Geet smiled.
Rano and Geet layed down on the bed while Maan constantly texted Geet. They texted each other for a few hours without Rano knowing.
Geet texted- Arey, mujhe aapse milna hain. Subah milenge.
Maan texted- Okay, good night.
Maan got out of his bed and quietly went into Geet's room. Geet was sleeping like an angel. Maan moved closer to Geet and covered her mouth and picked her up. Geet couldn't see who it was in the dark, so Maan quickly moved out with Geet in his arms and then took her to his room. Geet then saw Maan's face.
Geet- Aap pagal to nahi ho gaye ho??!?!!!
Maan- Meri mishti mujhe milna chahti thi, to mera farz tha ke main uska wish pura karoon.
Geet blushed.
Geet and Maan laid on the bed. Geet put her head on Maan's chest while Maan put his arms around Geet. They talked for a few hours and they fell asleep in each others arms.

THE MORNING OF THE ENGAGEMENT
Rano woke up and noticed that Geet wasn't there.
Rano- Geet, Geet puttar. Kithe chal gayi?
Geet and Maan were already awake, they were in Maan's room eating breakfast. Maan cooked breakfast for Geet, scrambled eggs, grilled chicken breast, orange juice and fruit salad.
Geet and Maan were sitting on the bed eating and Rano came inside.
Rano- Arey, Geet tum yahan?
Geet- Maa?
Rano- Han! Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?
Geet- Vo, Maan ne mere liye khaana banaya, es liye Maan ke saath breakfast kha rahi hoon.
Rano-Accha, chal, mehndi ke liye maine tumhare kapre bed par rakhe hain, tum tyaar ho jana.
Geet nodded.
