PART 48
Maan went to the same hill where they parted back
it was d most lonliest hill in the forest

river tista trying to find its way amongst the slope of forests as if it has lost its way..

he sat on a lonely stone admist the stream line
his legs were in water..
it was noon time but it was cloudy.
as if about to snow..
his jeans and sweater sleeves ffolded up to knees and elbows..
it was his favourite spot..

where in this whole world he would find peace

he looked at his arms..

all destroyed and ugly due to pricks of injection

he realized" he dint take his drug",though he had it in car

he went to the car..
opened the dashboard..
looked at shot..

he had a reason today.

when else dint he have a reason..

he injected it in his vein..
letting this sweet poison dissolve in his every soul..
he screamed" geet.."
it echoed in the whole valley..

He screamed again"Why dont you believe me?"

it echoed back again.

"I thought you will love me..
trust me.."
it was echoing back again.
He took a small pebble and threw it on the other side but it fell in the water..

he sighed "missed it"

"Today I have every thing..
calliber, status, business money
..all..

but what I miss is your love"

he cried bitterly..

the clouds which were grey turned to pitch black.

moon shone up
he sighed "people think moon is so romantic..

he has so many stars to love it

but sigh they don't know sachai kya hai?

dur se jo chand hasta hua dikhta hai wo apna gum chupane ke liye roz ek nay chamak nayi roshni ke sath aata hai

Jo tare uske pas dikhte ha..
Unse duri ki jafa kya hai.

Dekhne wale hai dhokhe me gum
Unke darmiyan duri ki wajah kya hai..

Mera pyar jo hai haara hua
Uski intekaam kya hai..

Aaj me bhi deikhta hu..

sache pyar ki imtehaan kya hai."
He cried bitterly remembering every second in his child hood,where he was neglected by his parents.

where he used to cry for food but the careless servants used to ignore him..

where his mother used to leave him alone crying..

where he used to be haunted alone by bad dreams in the big khurana haweli and his parents used to busy for parties and business trips..

When daadi ma used to often come to visit him as she used to live at his dada ji's place..
[thier original home sweet home]
and when dadima decided to shift to khurana mansion because of maan's increasing depression and difficulties.
He remembered his child hood time when he used to play hide and seek with dadima for eating the vegetable he hated most..

and dadima used to run behind the baby maan with chapatti in one hand and vegetable bowl in another..

He recalled when he jay adi and dev used to play in wet mud after rain..

building their castles and maan's castle used to be most perfect and highest[after all its msk]

And then when they used to come back to find dadi ma standing whith a stick and 4 towels in her hands and they 4 idiots used to be all drenched in wet mud and water top to bottom.
He giggled remembering when they all used to put their wet muddy feet on crystal clear floor and nakul kaka used to crib..

Then they used to bath in big bath tub
fighting
kicking
laughing
and
giggling.
He giggled remembering those days..

those were the best days of his life..

Then dadima used to come and dress up all 4 nangu pangu kids embarrassed seeing each other naked

He remembered how he beat one of the seniors black and blue..
who bullied jay by making him stand in sun..

He remembered how all the 4 boys used to follow dev's "pehala pehala pyar" to her house,
but poor dev..

she was daughter of the kanta bai who used to wash utensils in khurana mansion..

And when one day they followed her to her gate

kanta bai chased them all with broom in one hand and slipper in another..

He giggled remembering..
He remembered how aadi and dev exchanged sheets in 10th board exams and were caught by invigilator and how maan had to go their to impress her and flirt with he r to get their papaers back.

Weird thing was ..maan was crying and laughing remembering all those days

he thanked god for giving him his beautiful days
he uttered
"Jab meri teri inayat pe nazar jati hai..
Mere allah meri ankh bhar ati hai..

besabab mujh ko Diye jata hai dene wala..
Hath uthte nahi ke..
Jholi meri bhar jati hai.."
Then he was haunted by memories which made is life a living hell..
