well am sure some time later she is bound to get jealous since he is spending more time with neha and returning home late.............nice part........do continue soon.......thanks for the pms..........i just got to read the whole ff at a time so no comments before even if u used to send me pms for the updates in this ff........i just got over with ur other ff that is why...........sorry dear......will keep in track with both ff now onwards........

Hey guys: I know this might be a short update..but for now that is all I have and I will make the next update longer hehehe....sorry in advance but enjoy....

Chapter 29

The next day Neha went to the police station..she met Adi there
Neha: Good Morning..

Adi: Neha right on time...I am about to set up a meeting with my officers for this new case we have...have you made any progress on the killer?

Neha: After doing some research and looking at the past killings..I have come up with a report of the person based on the information..

Adi: Alright that is a great news...you can present the idea when the meeting starts soon

Neha: Alright thanx..where is Maan?

Adi: Ohh he might be coming in any minute now

Neha: umm ok..

Maan: Speaking about me here...behind my back Adi?

Adi: There is nothing to speak about anything behind your back ..I was just telling Neha that I am hosting a meeting about current killings...she has also prepared a profile of the killer

Maan: Ohh wow..that's good..let's see Ms. Neha what you have for us

Adi: Well than let's get started....Alright everyone can I get your attention...Neha is going to present us some information about the killer...

Neha: Alright everyone..based on my research the killer age is most likely to be around 20-30 years old...he is very intelligent and has everything well planned out before striking his victim...he is most likely to be introvert...someone who likes to watch and listen to people....since the uses drugs on his victim before he kills..we might be looking for someone who works in a clinic or in a hospital...

Adi: So we are looking for a doctor?

Neha: umm it doesn't have to be a doctor..he could work as a vet..any place where it would be very easy for our killer to get access to drugs...

Maan: Not bad Neha...this should help us at least narrow down our search...umm shall we go to the lab and see what Rahul and Sasha came up with that might help us further..

In the lab:
Maan: Hey Rahul...so are you guys done with the autopsy?

Rahul: Yep all done..Hey Neha...how are you?

Neha (smiles at Rahul): Hey Rahul..am good..you?

Rahul: Same...you are looking nice today (winks at her)

Maan: umm you guys can get to know each other well later...let's get down to business...

Rahul: ohh right...well the theory still stands..she was killed by suffocation..we found bruising on her lungs

Neha: What about the drug?

Sasha (came): umm it seems like killer knows his stuff..we found no traces of any drugs that the killer might've used...by the time the body was found it was out of her system...

Maan: Well that is a great news isn't it (sarcastically)

Rahul: but we found something that you might be interested in...

Maan: What is it

Rahul: We ran some tests on the mask and the chemicals that the killer used to make the mask

Neha: and?

Rahul: and we found out that the the materials that the mask was made from is found from this shop...

Maan: that's good..we should go and check it out...

Neha: Alright..thanx for the help

Rahul: No problem come back anytime

Maan: We will try not to (laughs...they both leave the lab..)

Neha: Alright so let's go to the store

Maan: Actually you and Adi can go check out the store I have to go pick up my wife

Neha: ohh ok..no problem...I will meet Adi in his office and let him know..Good luck

Maan: Thanx..bye

Maan drove to Geet's college..Geet saw Maan..she comes and sits in his car
Geet: You are late

Maan: I am only half hour late

Geet: I thought Detective Maan Singh Khurana is never late

Maan: Only once I am late...plus Neha and I were busy talking to our lab tech about autopsy they did on the victim

Geet: kya sach main Neha hai?

Maan (looks at Geet): What do you mean sach main? I told you last night..she is my new partner until this case is over

Geet: I thought you were joking to see if I get jealous or not

Maan: why would I joke about that (laughs)

Geet: whatver...mujhe ghar jana hai (mad)

Maan: Geet I came here because we had planned for lunch together..remember?

Geet: I don't want to have lunch with you...

Maan: you are not going home..we are going to go and have lunch together whether you like it or not

Geet: I said I am not having lunch

Maan: and I don't care...we are going...waise am the one driving so I decide where the car stops next

Geet: Fine bu I am not getting out of the car

Maan: Alright we will see...

At the station:
Neha: Hello Adi Sir may I come in (knocks on his cabin door)

Adi: Ohh yeah sure wheres Maan?

Neha: He had to go and pick up his wife

Adi: ohh I undestand..did you guys find any new leads?

Neha: Yeah we found out the stores name that the killer used to make the mask...I need you to come with me to the store

Adi: Ohh ok...sure but let me tell you..even though am like the head in charge here...when it comes to taking someone down that is more of Maan's area (laughs)

Neha: Don't worry that is where I come in..I have black belt in karate and took training for self defense (smiles)

Adi: Ohh wow..so I can guess that no one dares to mess with you than

Neha: unless that someone wants to face me (smiles)

Adi: Point made..now shall we go?

Neha: sure
