You know Mahi ..I am no one to complaint or complement atleast this story of yours... Actually its a journey for me😊 Through your words, I am trying to see that world which is completely unknown to me.

First of all ,mine was arranged like you describe..I knew my Mayank before marriage..He was not a stranger for me. Still I can connect to Nupur's feelings as I have seen my di go through all those, as hers was entirely arranged one.

Next - In my place, none of these rasms occur... I have seen these things only in films and serials.. 😊 I used to feel like its all exaggerated in films.. But reading your updates, I really feel like no,its actually true.. This is how marriage happens in your place. I am looking forward to your marriage to fulfill the dream of attending such functions😉

I too had these kinds of doubts always.. But later I understood that the idea of packing daily usage things are not at all bad. See Mahi - we are entirely new to that house and even if a thing is not found in place, we will hesitate to ask anyone.. Im telling it from my experience - It feels so awkward to ask for something however silly it may be to others.. Luckily I didnt have to face it much - As I had my Mayank with whom atleast I was not uncomfortable. But I can guess the state of those like your Nupur for whom even Mayank is a stranger.
