PART-16
Ridhima fidgeted in her place .......... Armaan took steps towards her and stood infront of her with his hands in his jeans pockets "umm wo....... wo kal raat........... "he suddenly stopped hearing...
"Ammyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
they both turned towards the door hearing a loud shriek of a girl wearing a pink sleeveless top and skinny jeans ...... the moment Armaan saw the girl, he smiled widely " soniya???, omg its u" he ran towards her with the same excitement, Ridhima looked at the scene....only to find Armaan jump with joy and hug the stranger hard, as she hugged him back.....
Ridhima felt a strong surge of emotions rise within her chest, she could not define at that moment what, why or how that was happening....but as she continued seeing them hug, she felt some thing prick in her heart and looked away not liking the way they are holding eachother.....
"soniya!!! tu yahaan!?? wow!! what a pleasant surprise" Armaan said excited coming out of the hug....
"wo kya hai na ke main apne sab se acche friend ko bahut miss kar rahi thi, to bas main leave application di aur aagayi tum se milne, magar mera dost itna busy rehta hai ki, itne dino se, usne mujhe ek phone karne tak ka time nahi mila" soniya said making a face .........
Armaan shook his head "are yaar aisi koi baat nahi hai, main to bas thoda sa busy....." but he was cut by soniya "Ammy, tere paas koi naya bahana nahi hota hai?? jo har baar yahi kehta hai?? , aur tu...." she stopped as her eyes fell on Ridhima..... Armaan followed her gaze and then it stuck him about Ridhima's presence in the room..... while Ridhima gave them a small smile seeing them staring at her.....
"hmm, i have to report to dr.keeerti, i take you leave now" she mumbled and started to move only to be stopped by Armaan , moving towards her he wrapped her hand around her shoulder , Ridhima looked at him totally confused "sonia meet Ridhima, Ridhima mallik, my wife... and Ridhima this is Dr.sonia singhania my best friend" he introduced both of them...
"hii soniya, nice to meet u" Ridhima forwarded her hand with a forced smile....... "hey Ridhima she said
shaking her hand and looked at her for a moment ..... "Ammy??, tumhaari wife ka naam to kuch aur tha na, haan anjali, thats right anjali, maine card par anjali hi padha tha, lekin phir ye...." she asked getting more confused.... Ridhima just looked at away ...
"wo sab main tujhe baad mein bataaonga, pehle tu ghar chal mom dad tujhse milkar bahut khush honge" he said changing the topic....
"haan main bhi aunty uncle se milna chahti hun lekin main hotel mein check in karke, shaam mein aaungi unse milne" she answered him....
"kyaaa, tu hotel mein rahegi??? , bilkul nahi tu hamaare ghar mein rahegi and no arguments on that" Armaan said pointing a finger at her... "yess sir" sonia said slightly bowing and chuckled.... and suddenly slapped her head "oh god, maine taxi waale ko wait karne ke liye kaha tha" saying this sonia rushed out....
Armaan shook his head and turned to Ridhima "Meri abhi do surgeries lined up hai isiliye, tum sonia ke lekar ghar jaao, get the guest room ready for her and make sure that she's comfortable"
Ridhima frowned at his ordering tone "i have duty in pathlab" ridhima informed him... "don't worry about your duty, i will look after that, you just go with sonia, and take my car with you" he gave her the car keys and turned to his file....
Ridhima took the keys and sighed "ab madam sonia ki duty bhi karni padegi, make sure she feel comfotable" she said imitating Armaan...
looking at her standing still there he slightly frowned "Dr. Ridhima ,now please if you could move, mujhe aur bhi bahut kaam hai"

she came out of the cabin cursing Armaan and bumped into muskaan "oww, kya kar rahi hai muski dekh kar chal na" she said rubbing her head...
"oye, jab tujhe apne Armaan ke siva koi aur dikhaai nahi deta, to isme meri kya ghalati hai" muskan said cheekily...... dekh mera mood pehle se hi theek nahi hai, tu ye sab bakwaas karke mujhe aur pareshaan mat kar" ridhima sai irritated.....
"lagta hai teri jijaji se ladaai hui hai "
"muskaan dekh tu..... chod meri hi ghalti hai jo maine tujhe sab kuch bata diya" ridz said crossing her hands........
"oh god.... bataane se yaad aaya, sab tera cafetaria mein wait kar rahe hai, tu jaldi chal" muskaan said dragging her.
"mera wait!! par kyun???"
"are simran ko jab se, teri aur Dr.Armaan ki shaadi ki baat pata chali hai, wo to aise behave kar rahi hai ke jaise tune shaadi karke use koi bahut bada dhoka diya hai, huhh drama queen kahin ki" mukaan said walking towards cafetaria....
"oh god... muskaan tu thodi der chup nahi reh sakti thi" ridz said stopping in her tracks...
Muskaan stopped and turned to her "aylo ab saari meri ghalati hogayi, shaadi ki tune, hum sab se ye baat chupaayi tune, aur to aur jiju ke saath cabin romance karne tu gayi thi, aur ghalat mai hun?? haan " muskaan said crossing her hands..
"Muskaaan" ridhima glared at her.....
"are jiju ka gusaa mujh par kyun nikaal rahi hai" muskaan said chuckling at her expression...
"mukiii, ruk, main chodoongi nahi tujhe" ridz said chasing her.....
Ridhima almost got a head ache in pacifying simran, but finally she settled, but not before demanding a dinner party at ridhima's place and ofcourse with Armaan, before Ridhima could object Rahul agreed for the dinner to which Ridhima reluctantly agreed, but she found adi strangely quite, he just congratulated her and excused himself for his duty....

"Ridhima informed dr.keerti and moved out at the nurse station where she found sonia waiting, both sat in the car and headed to mallik mansion, from sonia she came to know that Armaan, Abhimanyu and Sonia were classmates, Sonia was a successful gynacologist settled in USA, all the way Sonia kept on blabbering about her and Armaan's friendship, about their college days, their pranks, ...ridhima frowned hearing that they were termed as hot couple of the college....... ride back home felt as eternity to ridhima ,as she dosen't want to hear anything more about how much sonia and Armaan are close to eachother ...... Ridhima sighed in releif as they reached the house.....
Sonia was greeted delightedly by ananya and billy mallik, Ridhima excused herself and after instructing the servants to get the guest room ready she joined them for the tea, after having chat for some time, Ananya asked sonia to have some rest becoz she must be tired by travelling .....

Armaan and Rahul reached home almost at dinner time, Rahul greeted sonia and went to freshen up, after dinner Ananya and Billy retired to their room, while Armaan and sonia sat on the couch chatting, and chatching up with their college days, Sonia asked Ridhima to join them for coffee, but she politely refused saying that she has some case to study and excused herself as she dosen't to feel left out between two friends, but deep down she know that she couldn't see sonia so close and at ease with Armaan......
sitting on the swing with a case file, which she was trying to read from past half an hour but could'nt help herself from seeing in the direction where Armaan and sonia were sitting.....talking and laughing......
"lagta nahi ki sirf dost hai!! hai na??"..... "hmmm, mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai" Ridhima said and quickly turned to see Rahul standing behind her grinning... "so, you think sonia aur bhai ke bheech...... kuch???" he asked raising his eyebrows ... "i didn't say that" she added quickly being caught off guard......
He chuckled at her flushed face, taking a seat on the swing beside her, he said wearing serious expression looking at Armaan and sonia "but Ridz don't u feel jealous seeing them so close, i mean main agar tumhaari jagah hota to bhai ko sonia ke saath kabhi akela nahi chodta" ........ Ridhima looked at Rahul and then in the direction of Armaan thinking about what Rahul said.....
"Ridz main to kehta hun ke tumhen bhai ko itni choot nahi deni chahiye, i mean i know ke bhai will not cross his limits, but sonia????" he left the sentence hanging.... he stiffled his laugh looking at Ridhima's frowning face and quickly added "lekin Ridz tum in sab baaton par dhyaan mat do, u know, i was just .... anyways goodnight" he yawned and got up to go.... Ridhima did't wish back him nor did she looked at him, as Rahul's words were ringing in her head and her eyes were glued on Armaan and sonia.......
"are they just friends????"
